9/11 anniversary

Nobody on the media seem to be anticipating much the upcoming 11th anniversary of September 11th.

Although the masses have been instructed to be especially moved and re-shocked in occasion of the 10th anniversary last year, it could be argued that for the maniacs behind the 9/11 scam the 11th anniversary should actually be more important than the 10th, given the demonstrated puerile fixation they seem to have with this stupid number.

(maybe this is why possibly they decided to make a big deal out of the year 2012)

I don't wanna get into any fearmongering prophecy or anything, just put on record that I'm kind of curious to see how much of a big deal of a reminder the pigs are going to make this coming anniversary. If any.

Strangely, the 10th anniversary in the UK was downplayed somewhat or at least, to what I had expected. Interviews were scarce. The only one I found on the BBC website was with Robert Eaton's alleged sister. In truth, she didn't appear to be an actress to my eyes? She did live in quite a large house though (assuming it was hers) with a swimming pool in the back garden. Maybe Antipodean who has done much research on Eaton, has more info on her?

The BBC broadcast a vile two hour porn-u-mentary of "family memories" of 7/7 earlier this year. They were ALL actors posing as loved ones of 7/7 vicsims! Obviously not the people they were portrayed to be.

I post my opinions based on my own findings. There are many actresses posing as family members both in the UK & US. She doesn't appear to be an actress to me - you may choose to disagree. I wasn't "suckered" into anything. I was making an observation.

Feel free to post something that makes me think that you are sincere.

I'd vote for "umpteenth lying actress". I can see what you mean about that "background slip" - but it is explainable by the fact that the Quality Street box is on top of a separate kitchen surface that is closer to the viewer. The background shifts between the close-up shot and the long shot because of perspective.

I am more interested in this woman's eye-movements. Perhaps Maat can have a look at the below frames and comment on them. As far as I understand - about NLP, (right-handed) liars look to their right as they are about to utter a lie?

Twice in her very short BBC interview, Barbara glances to her right in pretty dramatic fashion - just after two brief speech pauses... which both introduce two statements that are probably the core lies that she has been paid for to diffuse:

To me, the background relative to her shifts real-time to the viewer's right, but she doesn't. That's even slightly apparent from the two screen-captures above. Agreed, she's closer fore-ground than the kitchen units, but odd that the camera pan-clamp was loose, then 'corrects' within a few seconds back onto original axis. A camera mistake, or classic 'reality tv' ersatz add-in?

And re the kitchen items to the rear- there's actually a whole pile of changes, comparing long-shot with tight-frame. Either the producer went for a complete still-life recomposition, or the entire sequences were shot on two different days ( highly unlikely given it's short length).

Her eyes are just theatrically absurd in their extreme deviation to the right, agreed 100%

Videos taken by bystanders showed a funnel cloud sucking up water, then sand, and then small pieces of buildings, as the first moved through Breezy Point.

Winds reached up to 110mph (177kph) and several homes and trees were damaged. No serious injuries were reported.

Residents had advance notice from the weather service which had issued a tornado warning for Queens and Brooklyn at around 10.40am. However, the storm still took many people by surprise when it struck around 20 minutes later.

"I was showing videos of tornadoes to my four-year-old on my phone, and two minutes later, it hit," said Breezy Point resident Peter Maloney. "Just like they always say, it sounded like a train."

In the storm's wake, the community of seaside bungalows was littered with broken flower pots, knocked-down fences and smashed windows.

The severe weather delayed play at US Open tennis tournament a few miles away, though Briton Andy Murray still managed to win his semi-final match.

The tornadoes struck as part of a line of storms that were expected to bring damaging winds, hail, heavy rain and possibly more tornadoes in other parts of the northeast including sections of New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

Tornadoes were once extremely rare in New York, but they have occurred with regularity in recent years.

Ha! Yes, Simon. What a coincidence though that it should happen two days before the anniversary AND be a TWIN tornado. Anything to keep the event in people's memories.

As usual, there are a load of documentaries on TV right now and will be on in the week, too. One was on Channel 4 here in the UK - The Lost 9/11 tapes! - Oh please. More like, technology has advanced so much in the last 10 years, we've had the time and pleasure in creating amazing digital footage.

Oddly, I went to a networking type event last week, attended by games developers and a few writers (like me) and a people who want to simply make friends. I brought up the topic that games looks very real, but you can easily spot the difference of course between a games character and a real person, so I asked - there must be technology that exists which games companies have for players to control a very realistic avatar.

One guy said 'oh yes, studies have been done at our place by psychologists that when a gamer played and controlled a realistic character, it disturbed them, so we deliberately lessen the quality and textures.

I then asked the group 'would you consider the notion that news stations possibly use CGI in their reports and deliberately deceive viewers?'

One guy, who made Apps for Microsoft no less, said he had known of colleagues who have been approached to develop random footage of people in a variety of locations, parks, street corners, standing in front of rubble, in generic places, having them either speak with NO words or in a number of languages, but saying random, once again, statements such as 'I was walking my dog when it happened. It was extremely frightening.'

He didn't know what it could be used for. Conversation took a different turn when I returned from getting a drink, but - hey - adds fuel to the fire of what is already apparent.

Yes! If you ask anyone in any given popular, money-making industry, you inevitably come across these types.

This is why I can be so confident that I have met and fraternized with actors and liars who would absolutely take a paycheck for some work, no questions asked, no responsibility "felt" for whatever it was for. And they have lied to my face (or on the horn) about this subject, or rapidly found a way to change the subject when I was touching too close to home. One guy who claimed to be working for the Cassini project for ESA avoided me the rest of the evening because he told me that the only way to protect scientific instruments in outer space was to blanket them in five feet of lead! ... Must have felt a little awkward when he reflected on that whopper and I kept giving him quizzical looks.

It really is a lot to bear for those who start to suspect their work is being used for horrible purposes. Yet, they claim it's really not their fault! And anyway, they need another large furniture item or house and this paid the bill ...

As for two tornadoes representing the emptiness of the towers! Hilarious! It really is so childish, I'd suspect the BBC is behind this. Perhaps they caught Stephen Moffat writing notes in his sleep.
