The Rise & fall of ISIS

Discussing the most relevant "sequels" or "reminders" of 9/11. The so-called "War On Terror" is a global scam finalized to manipulate this world's population with crass fear-mongering tactics designed to scare you shitless.

Really? It's a comedy sketch... all that's missing is canned laughter.
It instantly reminded me of this, although not nearly as well done.

THE QUILLIAM FOUNDATION - formed by "former terrorists"

Dear Maat,

Please know that Ed Husain, one of the original founders of that bizarre, London-based "QUILLIAM FOUNDATION", has now been 'promoted' as a member of the CFR (Council of Foreign Relations).

Image ED HUSAIN
http://www.cfr.org/experts/civil-societ ... ain/b15381

Just like ED HUSAIN, as the story goes, the other 'top brass' at the Quilliam Foundation are all former "islamist extremists" who, we are told, have 'gradually transformed' over time and adopted "secular, liberal & democratic (Western) values"...

Here's the other founder of the Quilliam Foundation, MAAJID NAWAZ:
Quilliamfoundation.org_Maajid-Nawaz.jpg

"His work is informed by years spent in his youth as a leadership member of a global Islamist group, and his gradual transformation towards liberal democratic values. Having served four years as an Amnesty International adopted ‘prisoner of conscience’ in Egypt, Maajid is now a leading critic of his former Islamist ideological dogma, while remaining a Muslim. He encourages inclusive citizenship-based participation of Muslims in the West, while seeking to synergize a respect for human rights with the civic liberal imperative to defend those in danger of being stigmatized by extremists of all stripes due to their personal choices."

Here's the President of the Quilliam Foundation, NOMAN BENOTMAN (you've gotta love the fancy no-man-be-not-man name):
Quilliamfoundation.org_NoMan-BeNotMan.jpg

"After the Soviet withdrawal, he helped set up the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group which aimed to violently overthrow Colonel Gaddafi and establish an ‘Islamic state’ in Libya. In 1994, he moved to Sudan where he forged close links with Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and other key members of al-Qaeda. He is also well known as one of the most public critics of al-Qaeda, appearing widely on international media such as CNN and al-Jazeera as well as taking part in a range of international conferences."

And here is the Quilliam Foundation's managing director, HARAS RAFIQ:
Quilliamfoundation.org_Haras-Rafiq.jpg
Quilliamfoundation.org_Haras-Rafiq.jpg (12.68 KiB) Viewed 27492 times
"Haras Rafiq is Quilliam’s Managing Director. He was formerly a member of the UK Government task force looking at countering extremism in response to the 2005 terrorist bombings in London, As part of his work, Haras is committed to countering xenophobia and hatred, and has spoken at many conferences and events, including the Global Forum on combating anti-Semitism (December 2009), as well as being a Chair of a working group of the Global Experts’ Forum on anti-Semitism in Ottawa in 2010."

So, as a possible answer to your question ("Who writes this shit?") - the Quilliam Foundation may well be one of 'them'. In any case, it seems to be one of those phony 'expert Islamic "think tanks" created by the Nutwork so as to "intellectually back up" the notion of the existence of Al-Qaeda / ISIS - and such fabricated 'enemies of the Western world'.

For sure, that dubious (Je Suis) Charlie Winter-Cooper entity is also a Quilliam Foundation creation - and it shows...
Yeah, that’s why it was rhetorical, with “!” not "?"

For such an obvious perp-created Psy-Operation they sure are touchy about their bandwidth, aren’t they? <_< . 'Naughty, no hotlinky' to their bullshit mugshots, per Error 1011 Access denied …The owner of this website does not allow hotlinking to that resource” (I just replaced above pics; http://www.quilliamfoundation.org/about/staff/)

So, we have “Husain” (Hussein), “Nawaz” (never was?), “Usama”, “Haras(s)”, “NoMan BeNotMan”, “Nazish” (Nazi-ish? ), “Manning” (Bradley mnemonic?), “Mohammed” (of course) & “Charlie Winter Hope Cooper”, in full (as Observer found). A "Programs Officer", i.e. programming, for Co-oper(ation)?

If any are real dupes &/or ever had "radical" ideas (incited by perp propaganda), this would be a perfect control strategy to find and blackmail/intimidate compliance — play this role as instructed or face the (implied) consequences.

That's what convinces me that no real "extremist/terrorist" groups could possibly exist or operate (outside very localized limits) under the global control of Media, electronic communications and money transfers. The Pigs In Charge only ever broadcast what they already know, control/created and want us to see.

People don't change, only their tools — this is just a 21st Century version of Plato's Cave.

More “purple prose” [bullshit²] from the PsyOperators:

“The delicate balance fighting ISIS online”

CBS News February 20, 2015, 6:56 AM
World governments are turning up the heat on social media companies like Twitter over content linked to terrorism, with the belief that the sites can take a bolder stand against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and other groups online.

The Obama administration wants to prevent ISIS from recruiting new fighters online by shutting down their sophisticated digital propaganda operations, putting U.S. tech companies in the middle of what may be an impossible mission: fighting ISIS on a battlefield it's currently dominating -- the internet.

Mr. Obama told global leaders this week at an international summit on countering violent extremism that he wants to shut down the ISIS propaganda machine, which produces as many as 90,000 posts on Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms every day.

"The high-quality videos, the online magazines, the use of social media, terrorist Twitter accounts -- it's all designed to target today's young people online," Mr. Obama said Wednesday.

[...]

In the wake of the Paris terror attacks, France's top security minister is on a similar mission, traveling to Silicon Valley this week to ask American social media companies to better police their corners of the internet. But there is no universal definition of what constitutes an online threat, and releasing encrypted user information can raise major privacy concerns.

Twitter said it already prohibits "direct, specific threats of violence," but they must first be asked to do so.

Up to 80 percent of ISIS supporters on Twitter could be shut down, according to terror analyst J. M. Berger, but he warned that doing so could be a double edged sword.
"These accounts provide a lot of information about what's going on in ISIS territories... and the question is, can you dig into this network and degrade its performance while still maintaining those benefits? And I think the answer is that you can," Berger said.
No shit, Shill-Berger

“Defense secretary addresses coming battle against ISIS in Iraq”

By Julianna Goldman CBS News February 21, 2015, 8:02 PM
The new secretary of defense, Ashton Carter, said Saturday the U.S. may slow down the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. Carter made the announcement during his first trip to Afghanistan as defense secretary.

On the flight there, Carter also discussed an impending battle against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, in Iraq - the battle for Mosul.

The Mosul offensive is expected to be the U.S.-led campaign's most difficult and strategically important battle yet.

The Iraqi city is the largest held by ISIS, with a population of one million, occupied by an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 militant fighters.

[...]

U.S. officials expect that retaking Mosul will be a tough, potentially bloody battle. This seems to be a form of psychological warfare, possibly trying to convince ISIS fighters to leave Mosul before any assault or, on the other hand, forcing ISIS to bring in fighters to distract from other battlefronts.
Pretty obvious now what all the “ISIS terrorist” bogeymen hype has been leading up to and as Perp Newspeak for any dissidents’ natural resistance to a foreign military invasion and continued occupation of their countries.

That effectively demonstrates how ‘Merika & Co. maintain their unmitigated hypocrisy as self-appointed “liberators” bringing Freedom & Democracy (to control & plunder) and still quash any legitimate attempts their victims might make to regain independence. By fabricating globally threatening demons everyone would want whacked, they can justify attacking wherever/whomever they claim those terrifying demons are! The same propaganda formula that’s always worked

I don't think it is really possible to talk about the materialization of ISIS on our media without talking about this entity called "SITE", which appears to be the one and only source for every tiny bit of propaganda that appears to come from ISIS.

The SITE Intelligence Group
http://siteintelgroup.com/

Formerly known as "SITE Institute", this group appears to be a direct product of Mossad.
This is immediately perceivable as one opens the page and learns the two main activities of this group:
SITE Intelligence Group.jpg
SITE Intelligence Group.jpg (21.75 KiB) Viewed 26579 times
"White supremacists" and "Jihadists". What a laugh. Such are the dream, ideal enemies in the Hollywoodian world designed by the chosen ones. No need to monitor the Italian mafia or the Jewish mafia or the Mossad or, why not, Xe, the private army owned by Monsanto. These two and these two only are the "bad apples".

But when it comes to ISIS especially, it is important to understand how this website is for all intent and purposes the megaphone of the alleged Jihadists.

They make sure all the content is translated and westernized; all the threats are filtered through, and passed on to the mainstream media for public consumption.

See, regular media channel cannot do this directly, for at least two reasons: 1st, it would look like they are echoing the propaganda and would be criticized for this; 2nd, they wouldn't know where to find the material because such material probably gets to SITE directly from the Hollywood leftovers who work at it in their free time.

On the other hand, SITE hides behind the banner of "monitoring", as a "public service", and as such they cannot be censored in any way, even though it would be obvious to argue that, perhaps, all the horrific stories should not be made public, and all the info should be used discreetly, for intelligence purposes. But this is not what happens here.
SITE Intelligence Group2.jpg
SITE Intelligence Group2.jpg (137.39 KiB) Viewed 26579 times
As visible in the screenshot above, the intent of the website is pure pornography.

So, who's behind this pathetic, transparent little piece of propaganda?

"Rita Katz"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_Katz
https://twitter.com/rita_katz
http://www.greatertalent.com/RitaKatz/

Image
from the above twitter page

This person appears to have a glorious biography. According to wickedpedia: Father arrested for being an Israeli spy, served in the IDF, "disguised as a Muslim woman, wearing a burqa and wearing recording equipment, she began attending Islamic conferences and fundraisers, visiting mosques, and participating in pro-Palestinian rallies in the U.S. as an undercover investigator in order to expose links of American Islamic groups to foreign terrorist groups"... "She spends hours every day monitoring password-protected online chat rooms in which Islamic terrorists discuss politics, exchange tips, and announce their plans and accomplishments."

So, as visible, completely "above the parts" and yet her website is taken as a legitimate, unquestioned source of information by virtually all media entities in the world. Well played. <_<

There's more info about this person, and the activities of this SITE "Intelligence" group out there, and more research is required.

Without too much time on my hands, I find this page, which seems to have some good ideas: http://memoryholeblog.com/2014/09/15/pr ... nce-group/

Here's a quote:
“The video shows the beheading of Steven Sotloff,” Katz cautiously begins after being queried on the document’s authenticity.
The location from where the video was obtained from is the location where ISIS usually uploads their original videos to [sic]. The video shows a clear message from ISIS that follows the same message that it had before. And in fact within a short time after our release, ISIS’ account on social media indicated that within a short time [sic] they would be releasing the video, only we actually had that video beforehand and were able to beat them with the release (emphasis added).
This unusual statement alongside SITE’s remarkable abilities, should put news outlets on guard concerning the reliability of SITE statements.

No kidding. From http://memoryholeblog.com/2014/09/15/pr ... nce-group/
One last thing: as stated above, all the "horrific" pieces of fakery about "ISIS" appear to be distributed by SITE. However, the actual info is hidden behind a login/password filter, and subscription are not directly open, but must be requested via email (at least, this is what appears on this page: http://ent.siteintelgroup.com/Log-in.html)
This is rather peculiar; the impression is that they don't really want people to access liberally this information, through an automated process of subscription, even though the information is evidently accessed and broadcast all over the world by mainstream media.

Why this limitation for the common citizen? Perhaps because the lack of sources and the repetitiveness, one-sideness of the research would appear too evident to the critical minds of "regular" people, as opposed to the mental numbness of the media peons?

Another seriously horrific video shows ISIS militia destroying ancient, priceless statues of Babylonian dynasty in Mosul.

full link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgvakdb-gBM

I watched this a couple of times and my feeling (although I am not an expert in smashing statues!) is that this looks rather as plaster copies being destroyed, not stone.
Which if true, would mean that all these invaluable artifacts have already hit the elite fine arts black market, where most of the real art probably disappears, taken from museums all over the world. The values are "too high", and the masses "unworthy".

I wonder about those two "main threats" as well, nonhocapito. And, like many strange fronts identifying the worst threats to the world like skinheads and Muslims and other dangerous threats to world peace  it seems deliberately amateurish appearing.

Why does SITE look vaguely like SHITE? Is this on purpose? Sometimes it seems there is some kind of directive from a superior to add artificially embarrassing stupidity to make something look less military than its true origin. Not saying just because something looks so dumb that it must be a front. Still, something to ponder when hearing discussions about the insane power of something not remotely as influential as organizations like Reuters or Associated Press or Al Jazeera.

The statue destructions look a bit odd and humble, don't they? Almost as if someone behind the camera is saying, "Alright, yes, on with it! Okay, yeah, hit it harder."

These community musical audition-style beheadings "training videos" are all the rage these days. It is hard to be frightened of people that look so bored, really.

In this screenshot you can plainly see how the statue is entirely white in the inside, and yellow on the outside. This is typical of a plaster replica being treated on the outside with paint to make it look more similar to the original stone. No stone can be yellow on the outside and full white in the inside.

Anyway, yeah Hoi, I agree, SITE is obviously a front. As to which entity, I ventured a guess above... honestly, given the fact that the 'targets' are limited exactly to the historical favorite enemies conceived by Hollywood and the current mythology of the evil gentile, I don't consider "Mossad" to be too far fetched. A CIA-run website would have perhaps included the mexican or colombian cartels, the north-korean propaganda, the chinese hackers, whatever else...

[edit: ]But regardless, it seems a bit specious to say: "it looks mossad, it must be a trick to make me think it is". Or perhaps it just looks like what really is, because all these people feel safe enough that they don't have to cover their tracks that hard. The dust raised by Charlie Hebdo & co would take care of that. And it does looks "shitty" like a 9/11 memorial website because it was made by the same kind of people. If the product proves to be sellable across psyops, it can grow from shitty to slick in a few years. It's what happened to "prison planet" and the like. Otherwise it'll go back into oblivion, and without having consumed too many resources.

Wow, thank you for putting to our attention, nonhocapito. I keep amazed how these "ISIS" propagandists keep getting away with such amateur fakery.

Apart from the well observed colour difference which already shows we're not talking real massive statues here, I've made a short (but unfortunately due to absent video production software at the moment it becomes long in images..) overview of what I observe in just 4 seconds of this video.

For length purposes, I've chosen to Image tags, I see? Is there another method to scale them down?

Not to diminish in any way the excellent findings, Selene. I had thought of very similar observations about these statues that break in half as they are being pushed. But to tell you the truth I don't even need to look into it that much to be convinced, because I know that simply put, nobody, not even a "real" ISIS (which doesn't exist), would miss the opportunity to sell these artifacts on the black market for millions of dollars. You can take possession of a country and turn it into your ideal totem of fear. But it doesn't say anywhere good money should be wasted in the process.

BTW, check this article, dated July 2014!
ISIS Is About to Destroy Biblical History in Iraq
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2 ... -iraq.html
Then, last week, al-Baghdadi’s men returned to the Mosul Museum. They broke the lock to the storage rooms, and they have occupied the building ever since. “They say they are awaiting instructions from their guide [al-Baghdadi] to destroy these statues,” says Rashid, the National Museum director who is in touch with the local staff. Typically, al-Baghdadi is looking for the moment when he can get the most global attention.
So according to the story, this destruction was being prepared since last summer. What took so long? Why, making copies and holding auctions, perhaps?
Of course we are told the museum had already been looted in 2003 : http://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/apr/12/iraq.arts so maybe there was nothing authentic left there anyway...

That's actually a pretty good observation Selene... heck the 'falling statue splitting into pieces as it travels through air' effect can be seen elsewhere in nonhocapito's great finds.

Probably just a youtube 'compression artifact' or something

Either way this all strangely reminds me of the destruction of the 'Twin Buddha's' which had me, as a young stupid boy, thinking "something just had to be done about the Taliban" in the Summer of 2001.

Interesting 'coincidental' timing that turned out to be.

Nonhocapito,

thanks for correcting me on that one. You're right; I needed to include the "" around the "militants". I've corrected that in the original post.

And yes, I agree. It's sad to (not) see (but realise) these historic "artefacts" (what? isn't that a glitch in a photo or video? or is it ironically pointing us in the right direction...?), better said treasures, disappearing into the living rooms of mansions of CIA and related officers, politicians and other plotters of the mythical monster of the apparently still medieval 21st century; IS(IS/IL/Qaeda/what will be the new brand).

Maybe Brad and Clint got some Assyrian art for their patriotic patronizing factual ficticious informative insane liberating enslaving great immoral movie piece of propaganda American Sniper in Hollywood "while" the "militants" were exercising in Foleywood? :puke:

CriticalMass,

thanks for the GIF, it makes it very clear. The man is pushing at the top of the "statue" (~90% of the total height) and the pieces "break" at an impossible friction (or 'glide'; motion starting) angle. No natural rock (or any other pile/stack of pieces) does separate in the air like this, almost at horizontal position of the "statue", the pieces finally come off.

If the initial force is applied at the top, the top part should glide away from the other ones on which it is stacked sooner than the other parts due to the greater horizontal force vector push (and gravitational pull).

Assuming at least these images are "true", I suspect they used a kind of glue to connect the pieces of "fabricated statue" together to create this effect. This is not natural behaviour of a pile of pieces (rocks, pots, books, or just any solid material like false statue) that gets pushed over.

Or maybe this video has been compiled of separate shots and I'm analysing fake footage like Judy Woodpecker. Please don't hold her against me (anymore and pun intended), (I) consider it my sin of adolescence (definitely no pun intended).

Selene

PS: Not to elaborate too much in this interesting topic in a new post, thanks Simon, it was my pleasure too. Thank you for all the good words, the initially hot bath starts to feel more and more comfy.

And on the division side -if it takes a nice agnello with vino in Roma to assure you I am not a divider, I take the invitation with pleasure ;) - let me say this, which hopefully also applies to the people who insanely (the fakery is so abundant and obvious) believe in this "IS" mythical monster:

Why fight, divide and conquer

Dear Selene,

It was a pleasure to talk with you at length over the phone today. I'm sure we can all get along quite nicely - notwithstanding the slightly harsh 'welcome posts' from my most beloved fellow admins. I really think we all need to open up a bit - in order to expand our minds in all possible directions, so as to keep our demanding / yet different minds to split and divide into a million micro-factions.

We really do need to work on unity right now - and if someone like Selene ultimately turns out to be a 'divider' or a 'shill', I will promptly retract this very post. At this time, though, I think that Selene is - as we say here in Italy - "Uno dei nostri" ("One of our own kind").

Yes, this is a heartfelt wish that we Cluesforum admins do not over-react whenever we get 'eccentric' new members joining this forum. We are all quite eccentric ourselves, for Heaven's sake!

“The Islamic State’s manipulation of their high-production videos has become commonplace,” said Veryan Khan, editorial director of the Florida-based Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium. The murders likely took place in a studio, and the background image shown was likely from another location, the Bay in Sirte, a part of the Mediterranean Sea on the northern coast of Libya, according to Khan. There are several technical mistakes in the video that show it was manipulated, she said.

This has to be the craziest pro-vaccination campaign ever: "Even ISIS supports getting kids vaccinated"
As cases of measles continue to rage across the US, a very unlikely source has entered into the debate – ISIS. The terrorist organisation, whose torture and execution of civilian hostages has shocked the world, appeared to be openly mocking anti-vaccination movements around the world when it uploaded a series of photos showing children receiving inoculation.
