I don't know about anyone else, but I think that I have a lot of subconscious thought going on - I'd call it ego, self-will, or subconscious. Admittedly, I am a sample of one, but having had the experiences that I have had, and continue to have, that's definitely something that goes on in my head. It's the only rational explanation I have for some of the crazy apeshit bonkers behaviour I have sometimes exhibited seemingly spontaneously.

Then again, as well as being a sample of one, I am a bit of a weird fucker, so maybe it is just me.

I'm sorry for saying that the way I did. I was probably in a bad mood. A discussion of psychological theory is for another thread, but you are right, there is a degree of 'unconscious' thought, I just don't agree with reducing the mind to component parts and claiming an understanding of the parts and the ability to fix problems with them for money etc. I don't trust people who talk like that.
