I am not into the numerology thing, I think it's a pretty weak argument for the artificiality of a story compared to the blatantly false pictures, but it does seem odd that a number reminiscent of digital bytes (32 is one of the numbers created by doubling each successive product after 1: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, etc. and 1024 is considered 1000 for naming conventions: bit, byte, kilobyte, megabyte, gigabyte, terabyte, etc.) is chosen to accompany a formulaic spiral. Are people meant to be viewed as dispassionate numbers? Is that one of the purposes of these simulated death events? Dehumanize the way we remember people by subliminally, habitually turning the symbol of "death" into computerized war statistics?

Nor am I. Just pointing out what it was.

The bronze plaque with a Fibonacci Spiral and the names of 26 passengers and 6 crew members that drowned fitted at the harbour office at Porto Giglio is dated 13 January, 2012. Actually, at that date all 32 were in good shape trying to get off the ship with 300 others incl. the Master.

They had all missed the last life boat and as nobody knew how to launch the 60 life rafts that could easily save 1000+ passengers they were stuck. The Master had forgotten to train the crew how to launch the life rafts. At 00.34 hrs on 14 January, 2012, the ship capsized and the 32 drowned. All fault of the Master of course.

Reason why the ship capsized was probably progressive flooding of intact watertight compartments through open watertight doors reducing stability to zero. Watertight doors are not permitted on ships (generally). Costa Concordia had 25 and was a floating coffin from the start and not seaworthy at any time. The Master forgot to close all those illegal doors. Imagine that. Master not training the crew to launch life rafts and not closing the watertight doors.
The ship-owner is not to blame. His job was only to sell as many cheap tickets as possible to stupid people to repay the banks the cost of the ship. Safety was no concern to him. Safety was just a cost to keep minimal.

Heiwa, are you standing by the idea that the Costa Concordia was some kind of real socio-political event/disaster with no photoshop skullduggery involved?

It seems so. But blaming the Master for everything while the ship-owner collects billions from insurance is evidently wrong. Master is innocent and the ship-owner/directors should be in jail and insurance should pay zero. That 4 000+ survivors (passengers and crew) managed to embark at Porto Giglio Friday 13 January 2012 late evening and then were shipped away Saturday 14 January to the mainland (Porto Steafano) is very strange. How was it done? And the suggestion that the Indonesian helmsman didn't understand commands in neither Italian nor English and steered the vessel on shore is also strange. Like the port structural damage - a 100 boulder pushing in the side! Can it really happen?
Note that the show is still on. The court at Grossetto will not allow the Master (assumed innocent) to explain he is innocent until February/March next year. The wreck was uprighted early this week but the hull was destroyed then so it is likely the wreck cannot be re-floated and towed away ... ever. No work has been done to fit the missing buoyancy tanks on the port side and little happens at the wreck since three days. Media does not ask any questions but says Salvors are heroes (while they destroyed the hull of the wreck - underwater of course).
I feel the idea is to destroy the wreck in situ and to destroy the Master in court while collecting plenty money and then hope that all will be forgotten.
We will see. Strange case.

An absurdity. This thread has shown that it was very unlikely that all the passengers disembarked into such a tiny village, spent the night (sleeping where?), and then were 'shipped' to the mainland early the next morning, all while leaving behind no credible, believable evidence of such mass movement.

ANIMAL BONES found in Concordia hull !

Well, well, well, folks: the latest development of the Costia Concordia con is of zoological nature.

Apparently (as reported on TV and in La Repubblica, Italy's largest newspaper) some bones have been recovered from the ship's hull - and mourning family members have reportedly been brought to Giglio Island to witness their retrieval and, I suppose, 'identify their loved ones'... The two family members mentioned are Miss Maria Grazia Trecarichi (which loosely translates as "Mary Grace Threeloads") and Mr. Russel Rebello ("Russel the Rebel"?).

Image
http://firenze.repubblica.it/cronaca/20 ... f=HREC1-12

Shockingly, it now turns out that, according to "some doctors" (I presume forensic experts/coroners?) these bones are of animal origin. In other words, they are not of the human type. The way the press reports how this has emerged goes like this: "Rumors that have been circulating around the island may turn out to be true, and that is, that some doctors who have inspected the bones have raised doubts about their human origin". However, the Chief of La Protezione Civile (the equivalent to FEMA in the USA) has issued an official statement saying that "the first impressions" are that they are indeed of the human type - and that more time is needed to establish - via DNA testing - if what they've found inside the shipwreck are animal bones or human bones.

Of course, the whole of Italy now waits in fibrillating anxiety for the DNA tests' outcome.

In any case, Miss Threeloads and Russel The Rebel won't be too happy about that. The suspense thickens: will they sue the authorities for incompetence and for inflicting on their mourning families severe emotional distress? Will they demand an expert, paleontological second opinion? A carbon 14 dating of the bones, perhaps?

Stay tuned - the show must go on!

Costa Concordia incidents 13 & 14 Jan 2012

Unread post by Heiwa »

This thread is exposing media fakery of the M/S Costa Concordia incidents 13-14 January 2012. In the beginning many observers incl. SS thought that the incidents had not happened at all but a trip to Isola del Giglio confirmed that the ship was in fact resting 70% below water just outside the port.
Media was evidently on the spot and reported January 2012 that it was all the fault of the Master, etc. And the media fakery continues, e.g. 29 October 2013, that something like the following happened 21 months earlier:
"the ship collided with a reef (sic) off the Tuscan island of Giglio (13 January 2012), killing 32 people"
(http://news.yahoo.com/photos/captain-fr ... 12243.html )
or
"the cruise ship ran aground (13 January 2012) off the north-west (sic) Italian coast."
but
"the vessel capsized (correct - but it happened 14 January 2012 ... and why?) … Some 32 people died when the boat hit a reef and partially sank (what?) on 13 January 2012 off the Tuscan island of Giglio."
(http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/o ... tain-lover )
etc, etc.
CNN got it almost right 30 October 2013:
"The cruise liner capsized after it struck rocks (sic) off Italy's Giglio Island in the Tyrrhenian Sea in January 2012, killing 32 of the 4,200 people on board."
(http://edition.cnn.com/2013/10/29/world ... dia-trial/)

In the real world the following appears to have happened:

Half an hour after midnight 14 January, 2012, the Italian flag (international, cheap flag of convenience register) cruise ship M/S Costa Concordia capsized outside Isola del Giglio, Italy. The floating vessel lost stability, crashed onto the shore at ~90° heel and the hull was down flooded. The ship then sank on the sloping rocky sea floor with ~65° heel and slid down and away from shore until coming to rest with ~30% of the ship above water. 32 people drowned incl. 26 passengers on 14 January, 2012.

Two hours and 45 minutes earlier there had been an accidental contact between a hidden rock about six meters depth 100 meters off the shore and the ship that was executing a planned change of heading, when nobody died. The port side was ripped open over 36.5 meters and four hull compartments were up flooded. The ship remained stable and floating. It appears that the cause of the contact was a strange maneuver of the ship by a foreign helmsman not understanding the orders yelled by the Master. What really happened prior contact is not known.

In the almost 3 hours time between the accidental contact and the capsize incidents the ship's crew, responsible for the safety of the passengers, failed to (A) muster, (B) escort to and (C) embark all passengers into the life saving appliances on the embarkation deck port and starboard to abandon the damaged but floating ship and to (D) bring them to safety.

Reason was apparent lack of skilled crew and training. The crew did not know how to launch the life rafts that should save >1 000 persons and crew were missing to launch lifeboats. The shipowner had not provided the necessary crew and training had not been done. A majority of the non-Italian crew on the ship worked under slave conditions - 77 hrs/week at 1 $/hour during 11 months and then a short vacation, maybe, etc, etc. Most crew didn't speak the working language, Italian, aboard. Media would never report this. The Master was evidently also aware of the bad conditions and the lack of skilled crew and training but apparently he approved the crew provided by the shipowner and its standard. The Master probably didn't dare to criticize the shipowner.

In the meantime progressive flooding through illegal watertight doors reduced ship's stability to zero leading to capsize. The shipowner had 2005 decided that it was necessary to have 25 watertight doors in the ship in spite of the fact that they were not permitted by SOLAS safety rules. The Master probably knew what would happen with open, illegal watertight doors aboard, as he ordered them to be closed after the contact (the Master knew the doors were open!) but we do not know, if they were closed at Master's command. Some must have remained open; otherwise the floating and stable ship would not have capsized on 14 January, 2012.

Media has since January 2012 never reported the above defects causing capsize, sinking and manslaughter. Media has just published garbage news about an incompetent Master to protect the shipowner and the Italian maritime authority and to fool future cruise passengers.

To keep it simple. The shipowner ashore is responsible that the ship is seaworthy. A seaworthy vessel must provide its crew and passengers a safe place to work and live, and must be equipped with appropriate safety gear and equipment, safe recreation facilities, and a competent and trained crew. Seaworthiness is a strict liability warranty that imposes an absolute duty on the shipowner to provide a vessel and related equipment that is "reasonably fit for their intended use."

The shipowner appoints and pays the Master, the Chief Engineer, the Chief Mate and all the others and collects money from the passengers. Most non-Italian crew were paid ridiculous salaries under slave conditions. And this applies to the whole Costa fleet.

It is easy to demonstrate that the M/S Costa Concordia was not seaworthy but incorrectly designed, poorly managed with weak communications, therefore very dangerous and not operated according any proper safety management descriptions. Same damaging situations probaly exist on all other Costa ships. To hide these damaging facts the M/S Costa Concordia shipowner and Italian maritime and judicial administrations immediately put all blame on the Master. Assisted by media, of course.

If you Google about M/S Costa Concordia ever being seaworthy you will find that media does not mention seaworthiness at all since the two incidents took place 13-14 January 2012. However, you will first see an advertisment to cruise with Costa!

In my opinion the best and safest solution is to stop all Costa cruise vessels until they are seaworthy and put Costa top management in jail for say 20 years for sending not seaworthy ships to sea. Then I assure you that safety at sea is improved.

Hi all,

it is a while since this topic was active. Excellent work, again.

Would it be an idea to have a kind of summary page at the start with the most remarkable clues showing the fakery of the event?

To me there are three real give-aways (not to forget the impossibility to host 4200+ people on an island that small):
  • The comparison of Simons photo (great to be able to visit a "real" site and do your own research!) with the "people standing in the port", the wharf and houses could still be explained by some strange perspective, but the suddenly inverted half moon on house A is the real giveaway of fakery
  • The rock that allegedly caused the ship to "get in trouble"; it was pointed out (I forgot who it was) that the pipe sticking out of the ship (I miss any nautical jargon, sorry about that) should have been smashed if a rock would tear the side of the ship open. That's the give-away for the fake destructive rock.
  • The third point which I'd call a give-away is the point so repeatedly stated by fbenario; that the drop of an anchor (in shallow water) would tumble over a complete multi-thousand tonne vessel. That would be defying the laws of physics just a bit and indeed be of danger to all the other ships at sea.
Looking back now over three years ago there are also some very strange "coincidences":
  • This "tragic event" "happened" exactly 11 months prior to that other "tragic event"; the "shooting" at the Sandy Hoax school in Newtown
  • The start of the hearings/criminal case against Captain Skaterboy took place on 15th April 2013, the day the Boston "Bombings" "happened"
The reason I started reading through these pages (unfamiliar with the fakery and only vaguely informed when it "happened") was a news article (I've been looking for an English version but couldn't find that unfortunately) that was launched today that "Schettino although 'convicted' to 16 years and one month ( ) prison time still is a free man, because a Tribunal considered the sentence not definitive".

Links to this information spread by the media today are located here, I presume in the next days it will be picked up by English-speaking sources: Of course his "sentence" will not take place. Maybe Francis the Entertaining Conga Dancer will be given a new identity and live a happy life with his Moldovan Adobe girl amongst the Goa SimSinghs...
