The invention of AIDS

Unread post by nonhocapito »

The addition of this topic to our forum is long, long overdue.

What follow here will be, naturally, my personal opinions or conclusions or hunches about this story, that of course can be debated or denied. Regardless, I believe that the topic still deserves a relevant spot on our forum because it is a crucial story of propaganda, no matter the truth or fakery behind it.

*

AIDS has been a long crucial deception, a global scam, a propaganda tool, a fearmongering tool, a life-changing, traumatizing event for millions.

It has changed people's lives and changed our culture and changed our love life seemingly forever and with no turning back... and then, as if it was nothing, we buried it. We just pushed it magically out of our rich compounds, to let it live its almost eternal life of propaganda among the poor that we want to convert and put under trial, before welcoming the reformed ones to the magics of our global world.

We know that it works. We have seen it happening with the gay community, that apparently we submitted to this trial only so that it could emerge a winner if not a ruler into our global culture years later.

More mysteriously, AIDS has been the other face of a coin: the coin of internet and the computer life that we have been asked to live since then. In an age when cold war didn't scare anyone anymore, and Al-Quaeda was a long way to come yet, there was AIDS. On one side of the coin there had to be this traumatizing fear, especially targeting physical contact and intimacy, so that on the other a new form of contact without bodies and without danger could arise. Internet as the "safe" place. Where viruses are metaphorical.

I wonder, would internet ever had expanded this fast without AIDS? After all, in a matter of months it was clear that internet was going to be mostly a giant waste of time, and for millions, a trap into a life of solitude. Almost 20 years later, websites like facebook still ride on that old premise and bring entire generations to the same consequences, even if the fears have shifted and changed in the meantime.

*

The conspiracy theory

The conspiracy theory regarding the AIDS hoax revolves essentially around the research of professor Peter Duesberg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Duesberg) and his book Inventing the AIDS Virus, published in 1996. The book makes for a compelling read, still today, and makes a strong case for the HI virus to have been linked arbitrarily to the symptoms of AIDS, that would in reality be caused by a combination of lifestyle choices and not by the virus itself, who would be an innocuous passenger of the human body.
In other words, there never was any risk of direct infection from this illness, and, as Duisberg argues, the highest ranks of the medical community and government have always known this but kept it a secret, to make careers and more importantly rake billions out of unnecessary cures and drugs.

Duisberg arguments are many. I am not going to repeat them here as they can be read over the internet in abundance. But they do are very important and I'll assume we are all more or less familiar with them.

The Fakery

using what we have learned from the 9/11 scam and all the others, we know that a faked event always comes packaged with conspiracy theories to control the people with questions. Coming from this, we could imagine that Duesberg's conspiracy theory, that like Alex Jones' seems to have been dying of self-consumption and sheer tiredness over the years, could have been integral part of the scam, in order to cover a much more dramatic truth: that the threat of AIDS and the horrific deaths it caused, that Duesberg never denied, were in fact all completely faked by the media.

In other words, it might be time to explore the outrageous idea maybe, possibly, nobody really died of AIDS, and all the gruesome stories of the '80s and '90s, the horrible deaths, the bullshit in all the movies: none of it was ever real or genuine.

For starters, a good argument in this sense is that the AIDS scare was lent crucial credibility by several celebrities that soon "died" from it. Rock Hudson, Anthony Perkins, Freddie Mercury, Isaac Asimov (!) etcetera. (Perkins as we know "died" on September 12 1992 while his wife died 9 years later on September 11, as she was on the non-existent Flight 11. :puke: )

We are told that AIDS is everywhere in Africa, and that probably it originated in Africa from the start. Then why the epidemic should have been first registered in California? Many of the african nations were much better off in the 80s than now. They had hospitals and doctors and researchers where today have warlords or talebans. Yet they never registered any strange epidemic with the AIDS symptoms that attracted the attention of the medical community until it showed up within the gay community in the U.S.? This, despite the virus being allegedly endemic in large parts of the african continent. OK, whatever...

Nonho,

Yes, Simon! AIDS only attacks in patterns of 11,000 people. That's how it works. It's a really smart infection, in constant communication with its germy brethren. Indeed, it has been shown in the laboratory to keep a count on its flagela of how many it can see and when it reaches a certain number, it brings out tiny antennae that actually conduct radio frequencies to one another, sort of like a natural "walkie talkie". This is the recording of their communications. [Insert joke link here]. It may sound like a whining static to you, but this is - in point of fact - the AIDS virus communicating with itself over a distance of several "huts" in an unnamed sub-Saharan village, recorded by Sir Lord Chester Englishman in 1978. He was friends with Stanley Kubrick, in fact and one of their favorite hang-outs was Arthur C. Clarke's palace in Sri Lanka.

Alright, sorry, I'm done.

Of course HIV and AIDS are mired in bullshit. When the test for HIV is different in every country, and there is no universal testing practice - nor testing results - to actually determine a disease, that "disease" must be attributed to several different types of health problems. There is no such thing as "the HIV Virus". It's especially offensive when herpes and warts are called precursors to HIV by professional doctors. Poor young med students are attacked constantly with professors giving them the "quest" to find a "cure" for myriad problems under its heading.

Where did all these pictures of the "HIV virus" come from? They're obviously not photos.
So how was their structure and shape discovered? What scientific process was used??

A quick search brought this to my attention:

There is a Dr. Eleni Papadopulos who is a biophysicist and leader of a group of HIV/AIDS scientists from Perth in Western Australia. Over the past decade and more she and her colleagues have published many scientific papers questioning the HIV/AIDS hypothesis.

In a 1997 interview Eleni said:
ELENI: There is no proof that HIV causes AIDS.
Q: Why not?
ELENI: For many reasons but most importantly, because there is no proof that HIV exists.
Of course the wiki page for Eleni discredits her and calls her a AIDS denialist!

Oops didn't mean to start this topic just yet...
I didn't realize I started this topic! I thought I had this saved in the drafts and today I find out it has been published!
I was planning to work on it a little bit longer before daring publishing this!!! :o
There were mistakes (for example that the AIDS scare started in LA, which is not true) and I had planned to quote stuff from Duesberg's book, add pictures, sketch the political scenario, especially about France and the U.S. ...

Well, shit happens I guess. I must have clicked the publish button at a certain moment and didn't even notice.

Anyhow: this is to say that I have now overwritten the ^first post in this thread to a more refined version i was working on in the meantime, nothing biggie but I couldn't help doing it -- and sorry if the research isn't more complete or helpful from the start. Dang.

This is amazing, Simon. It is almost 11 o'clock and I feel I have AIDS all over me.
Once again we see the number 11 being used over and over probably so that those in know are reminded and alerted of when a news item is faked.
But it is amazing how Africa is being played and exploited, in everything. What a disgrace and shame. Duesberg hints to this as he argues in his book that the AIDS scare has been moved to Africa exactly because it would have been so much easier there to attach it to a plethora of endemic diseases, so to still keep pretending the scare was real.
But in fact, as this collection of 11,000 shows, the scare has been moved to Africa not to use the local deaths, but just to make them up. Probably because of the local corruption and lack of infrastructure there makes it much easier.

lux: you're right, in the effort to replicate the success of the silence imposed over the possible manipulations or fakery of the so called Holocaust, those who do not follow the official truth on this matter are today called "AIDS denialists". This is a clear sign that the Media establishment is committed and desperate to keep this secret under wrap. As with everything, if one thing is true and a fact, there is no need to protect it with stigma and belittlement.

I lived in San Francisco when the "AIDS Epidemic" began. People were dying as I knew about a dozen personally whose deaths were attributed to AIDS. I knew second hand of more deaths and saw many tragically sick people wasting away, mostly in the Castro District. Something was taking a toll on gay people there. I also knew straight people who used needles and died, again lumped in as AIDS. Most of the people I knew who died used Amyl Nitrates and led extremely promiscuous lives which coincides with Duesbergs theories. He certainly seems closer to the truth than Dr. Gallo and ACT-UP both of which have profited mightily from the "AIDS Epidemic".

I'm sorry for your loss, MrSinclair. It is no longer a laughing matter when hoaxes disgrace true suffering.

I have heard that, quite tragically, ATZ is a highly addictive substance whose symptoms of withdrawal include similar symptoms to what is called "AIDS" so that once someone is put on the medication it is hard to determine they don't have something truly awful. But this was told to me through hearsay and so I'm not sure how much weight it has.

Yes MrSinclair, this is what I have been thinking too for the past ten years or so. There has been an epidemic of something back in the eighties started in the gay community or among needle drug abusers, and this has been soon championed by the establishment to turn it into a global scare. To this effect, maybe some of the imagery and stories of wasting away and death in those days were real. After all, the wasting away of people for whom there is no cure has always happen and still happens, only it is rarely trumpeted by the media, because people change channel.

But we have been blown away, so to speak, already in the past when something we thought of as 100% certain has been demonstrated to be easily fabricated, exaggerated, invented. So only more research can help us sieve through lies and truths.

When we talk about "the invention of AIDS" do we mean inventing the virus (hence inventing that the infection was transmitted through blood, which is what makes it a real scare), or can we also intend that the whole syndrome was invented altogether, simply because it was needed to traumatize the masses at that particular moment in time...?

Hoi: The information you refer to comes from Duesberg research and is presented with arguments in his book. I will soon produce some quotations from that source, so that we can all see that this is not simply hearsay.

AZT = azidothymidine = an obscenely lucrative unholy alliance between GSK & Pfizer..

Thinking further about it I recall two straight men I knew, non drug users who tested HIV + and like Magic Johnson nothing ever happened to them, they simply were told they tested positive but exhibited none of the broad range of symptoms that were lumped under the AIDS umbrella.
There was an ominous fear in those days among promiscuous straight people as we were constantly threatened with our own epidemic but it never happened.
I never understood or trusted the ACT-UP movement as they seemed totally committed to only one goal, more money for AIDS research by big Pharma types. At the same time there was deep resistance and outright hostility towards spreading the message that a lifestyle of amyl nitrates, alcohol and rampant anal sex just might not be good for ones health. So it all took on a surreal quality at times as there was a sort of angry anarchistic mob with political sway functioning as the point people to attack anyone who suggested this lifestyle was dangerous. Condoms were encouraged sure but the party continued fairly unabated as people died and the focus seemed pretty much exclusively on fund raising and getting government money out of Ronald Regan and into the hands of, the Robert Gallo ilk.
Meanwhile the funding for Meals on Wheels type programs and others that directly addressed the needs of the sick had to come from donation cans and small contributions from poorer people. No Elton John/Liz Taylor/Barbra Streisand extravaganza's for them, all of that money seemed to go to "promoting awareness" and similar vaporware. The lavish gala's held around AIDS didn't do a damn thing for the quality of life of those dying.
There were also lots of stories of HIV+ people submitting to AZT and other treatments and getting massively sick , far worse than they had been. None of which seemed at least at the time to discourage the demand for more of the same.
What is most interesting about it in looking back is how peoples minds and belief systems seemed to be manipulated and exploited in so many ways throughout that period. It was okay to promote safe sex but not okay to criticize insanely unsafe lifestyle choices. At the same time hordes knelt at the alter of "new treatments" even when those treatments made things all the worse. Meanwhile anarchists would stop traffic in the streets demanding the government hand over more and more money to Big Pharma even though many of them called it a CIA created disease. A Dr Alan Cantwell promoted the idea that the government was trying to kill all of the gays and blacks with it.
Amongst the people I knew or knew of who tested HIV+ it was only the high risk lifestyle types who ever got sick, the others remained healthy although somewhat traumatized. Personally I think Duesberg is probably right. This interview with him on the largely discredited RediceCreations site is quite interesting.

Fascinating insight to that time and era, MrSinclair. Thanks for relating the story.

In "Occupy" I witnessed that same generation of people who had learned from such paradoxical stances and were now coming out to the streets to try encouraging the youth to try to be more unified and less gimmicky. Unfortunately, there were the young pranksters who wanted to copy the failures of the previous activists and gained popularity for doing stupid things like "glitter bombs" and such. I witnessed Occupy get seduced by these performers. Meanwhile the youth who remained skeptical of the situation were trying their hardest not to be unified about pretty much anything, and refused to listen to the older generations of protesters, who had made some mistakes the youth would not forgive them for. So it seems the intricacies and contradictions of the people's protests remain a factor in different times and different generations.

It never came to a cohesive goal like: shut down the lying media and reclaim our air waves. Yet, I still found the process of the discussions beautiful because people were actually discussing problems and learning about them instead of pretending everything was all hunky dory "we'll get along" kind of hypocrisy and feigning expertise. There was a lot of "fact check" and "privilege check" that got a lot of information broken down in a fast time frame among a broad spectrum of ages, classes, etc. - but it was too exhausting for most to learn the horrors of each others' stories and not nearly inspiring enough. In fact, one thing everyone in Occupy took away from it was that the situation is both very dire and not as dire as it seemed, if that makes sense. Kind of like what this forum can do to people's consciousness: Oh, [such-and-such] is not that bad after all ... but how can so many people not see [blank-and-blank]?

One of the subjects that came up frequently at various gatherings was the discussions of Cancer and AIDS scares. A number of working "cancer cures" were tossed around at different meetings, including some stories of miraculous recovery that never make it to the news (or stay for long without a clearly financed "debunking" on mainstream media). Also among the discussions was the "hearsay" I mentioned - of AZT (sorry for the typo earlier) being part of the "AIDS Hoax" package.

In fact, many things were discussed there, that are discussed on this forum, and it was no secret or use to any "intelligence gathering" because it was all stuff "they" already know we know - including the populist arguments they continually shut down with simple accusations of not being "American" when you mention any lack of faith in giant greedy corporations.

Ah, so all this is to say ... I think there is a shared story of some kind amongst the people on this forum. We may seem to fight with one another a lot, but it's nothing compared to our unity as humans seeking a better world for ourselves and future generations.

In 97/98 I visited the Aids Quilt exhibit when it was at Perdue university. (I think my girlfriend had to do it for a class or something) looking back on it now I have to say it was pretty comical. This quilt was fucking huge. There were photos of the victims al la 911. Very stupid.
Lets not forget about Easy mother fuckin E! (Everyone please raise your 40 oz in the air a spill a little)
