"TAIPEI SURVIVORS" CIRCUS
How do you make able-bodied people standing in murky water look like “survivors” of a “plane crash” for TV?
Add some “blood” to their faces, that mustn’t be wiped off, of course!
And remind them to look at the camera: Note all age groups are represented; infant, adolescent, adult & old age. Coincidence?
This is winter, the river water very cold, yet neither of the women are shown as already (or at least immediately) wrapped in a blanket on shore — as they would be in reality. Why?
Here’s the original video (re above frame) of “Give the ol’ man a paddle, throw some life vests, forget the kid & leave” + the 4 “bloody-faced" "survivors" —

(@ 1m2s: Although holding out the paddle for them to grab & help pull the dinghy closer might have been the purpose, the "rescuer" let it go anyway.)
An earlier clip of the “survivors” includes all 6 “bloody faces”, per this poorer quality cti video (referenced in my earlier post, p. 5):

Just ‘lucky’ to have no fractured legs or arms?
“Survivors of Taiwan Crash Were All in Plane’s Rear Seats”

Each of the 14 passengers who lived through the Feb. 4 crash had seats in or behind Row 11 of the single-aisle, 72-seat ATR72-600 aircraft, based on a seating chart and survivor list from TransAsia. Bloody-nose #2 + “emergency personnel” member in blue striped shirt holding a fake Louis Vuitton "Palermo GM" bag in a fake “plane crash survivors” fauxto — how appropriate.
