Do you have a place to watch that video without downloading possible malware?
Dear CC,

You can download the HI-DEF video from this page of mine: http://septclues.com/TAIPEI%20PLANECRASH/
(just right click on the file named "TAIPEI CAMERA CAR 2 hd video.mp4" - and save to your hard disk.)

As you can see (by the end of the clip), both of the alleged "camera cars" DO NOT STOP - but simply drive around the taxi and carry on down the freeway! I guess the drivers of both cars had more urgent / important matters to tend to that morning ...

Apparently - according to this "PRESS ASSOCIATION" youtube channel - one of them (driver of "CAMERA CAR 1") was none other than...
"Dramatic footage shot by an employee of Taiwanese television station TVBS shows the moment a passenger plane clipped a roadway before crashing in Taipei."

full link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ub_OUlWj2so

Hmmm... where have we heard THAT before? Media / TV people coincidentally capturing airplane crashes on film ? <_<

Yep, I noted that one in red too on my 1st post, Simon : http://www.cluesforum.info/viewtopic.ph ... 9#p2393939 (4th video down of the various News channel versions)

It’s not only unrealistic that no one stopped to get out and see what the hell happened to the “plane”, but they didn’t even stop to see if the taxi driver &/or passengers were ok!

According to the Media: http://www.cnn.com/2015/02/03/world/tai ... transasia/
The two people in the taxi were injured but in a stable condition after being taken to hospital, CNA said.
I’ve watched dozens of real car crash compilations of dash-cam videos on Youtube to compare the physics, behavior etc. (dash-cams are common in Russia and Asia, apparently). Those that recorded an accident ahead of them always stopped to help — often showing others doing the same.

So, to anyone still buying the "compression" bullshit diversion, I'd say that's the least of these Taipei videos' problems. Simply put: impossible physics & perspectives + unnatural human behavior = 100% fake — just Grand Theft Airplane, Taipei City!

I just watched the HD again. Whats wrong with this video? Simple. What ever happened to Dial 999 Immediately you stupid fucks? Not
"Di ou ee tha? Oh whaaa! Har re gor a picric baska?"
Some years back, I had the misfortune to witness an horrific road death, a guy walking across a Zebra crossing being hit full on by two kids doing about 60MPH. As he was still flying through the air I was jumping walls and knocking on doors looking for a phone.

Just wanted to underline this absurdity: On one side of the road, going in one direction, three different cars had a front camera running. On the other side of the road, from the opposite side or from radically different angles NO CAMERAS (check on google maps how busy is that particular spot).
And even the "animation of the animation", for no reason whatsoever, is composed from the same side! This apparent laziness, 9/11 style, is a clear sign that the composition or superimposing of the plane was digitally created from one point of view, considered sufficiently favorable, while the others were ignored to avoid contradictions or inconsistencies.

Taking a good, long look at the best-quality video, I'm faced with the question: does the sound of the plane's approach, collision with the roadway, and final crash into the river seem AT ALL believable?

First, let's establish that the car's dash cam can, without a doubt, adequately capture sounds from outside the car. We know that it can as we can clearly hear a car honking its horn after the crash. It seems we can also hear much quieter sounds such as the taxi driver moving things around in the back of his vehicle (I admit it's difficult for me to distinguish what sounds are coming from outside and inside the dash cam car).

I hear absolutely NO plane engine noise upon its approach. It just sounds like common road noise. The collision with the roadway sounds like someone fluffing a pillow in a recording studio. The crash into the water sounds like a faint, dull thud, barely audible... certainly not how I except a plane crashing into water to sound.

I realize that we've already established the video to be fraudulent, but I figured I might as well discredit the audio track as well.

The river looks like the perfect setting to stage a couple of plane parts and a mock rescue. Mostly hidden by the highway and a few feet deep. Somehow this raging torrent flushed away all the missing passengers! :P

Search continued on Sunday for three passengers still missing in Taiwan plane crash but no findings were reported.

Rescue workers took metal detectors to conduct an underwater search near the places where another five bodies were recovered in waters 500 meters-600 meters deep and 1 km downstream from the crash site in the Keelung River on Saturday.
<_<

http://www.alaskahighwaynews.ca/news/tr ... -1.1756421
Premier Mao Chi-kuo told Taiwan's private Formosa TV on Sunday that the priority was to find the three missing people. Longer-term, he said the country needs to work on improving "our civil aviation in terms of its management and training."

Huang Han-chung, a member of the underwater search team, also told the station that rescuers were using metal detectors, which had already been used to locate pieces of wreckage.

"Some bodies might have some metal on them, like necklaces, watches and coins, which will be detected," said Wu Jun-hung, a Taipei city fire department official. "There are still four seats missing, so it's possible that the victims are still fastened in their seats by seat belt, that they sunk together with the seats to the bottom of the bank."
- See more at: http://www.alaskahighwaynews.ca/news/tr ... uckbO.dpuf
They sunk to the bottom of the bank? So they need metal detectors to find them in waist deep water! At least the victims families are getting $38,000 each. Oy vay.

http://english.cri.cn/12394/2015/02/08/4001s865497.htm
The three unaccounted passengers are all male, with two tourists from the Chinese mainland and one resident from Kinmen, the destination for TransAsia Airways' flight GE235.

Hundreds of firefighters, policemen and servicemen joined the fifth day searching in an area ranging from 100 meters upstream of the crash site to about 32 kilometers downstream, as well as the maritime areas within a radius of 18 km from the estuary.
The 3 missing passengers might be found in the wetlands within an 18km radius of the crash sight! I guess this river flows in both directions ...

This girl should consider herself lucky she only got a bloody nose.

Excellent points, Nonho & Knapsack!

Yes, Nonho, the absurd one-direction-only car “dash-cams” + the same POV in their “instant” cartoon “recreation” does seem to be the typically lazy way they tried to avoid inconsistencies (without much success). Conveniently overcast too, of course; creating realistic shadows is such a bitch, don't we know

Knapsack, you’re right about the soundtrack; it’s not believable at all either — although some external sounds might be muffled when inside a car, there’s absolutely no way a real “plane crash” would not have been picked up loud & clear. <_<

I live in a brick house on the corner of a (usually quiet) cross-street with a stop sign, and when two cars collided there (one spun off & hit the tree in our front yard), it sounded like a bomb went off outside, despite my being in a back room at the time! Fortunately, no one was injured.

Sorry, still on the "dash cam dilemma". For those interested, this is the spot on google map:

taipei-Google Maps.jpg
taipei-Google Maps.jpg (109.13 KiB) Viewed 13708 times
...if you exit street view you immediately see that we should have either a more massive or a more varied video response here, provided people in Taipei do drive around with dash cams like in Russia and elsewhere.
The three active dash cams all concentrated in the same kilometer do seem to indicate that a lot of people use them. So where are the other ones?

C'mon you lazies, render those videos! Marsch! :D

On the 'goggle' map it would seem that there is a pylon and cables crossing the road and river near to [and in front of the gantry] where the 'plane' crossed/crashed.
If so, wouldn't the 'plane' have taken out the cables?

Sorry, I'm still fascinated by the impossible physics depicted in these videos. How anyone can look at this silly pixel plane defying the laws of motion and still believe (or pretend) it's "real" is beyond me.

Good analysis, Maat.

What strikes me as very odd is that the rear wing is all of a sudden behind the lamp pole while the whole plane was clearly in front of it.

That's only because it's supposed to be depicting an ATR 72-600 that has high-set stabilizers (tail fins):

“Valuable Routes, Insurance Cover Insulate TransAsia From Grim Crash Record”
Even after two deadly crashes in seven months, TransAsia Airways Corp. will likely rebound quickly as insurance covers any financial losses and its coveted routes through Taipei’s downtown airport keep it popular with business travelers. …

Taiwan Fire & Marine Insurance Co. Ltd. said it had underwritten TransAsia’s aviation hull and passenger liability insurance and estimated its maximum retained loss at $225,000, which it said would have no significant impact on its business.

Two other insurers, Cathay Financial Holding Co. Ltd. and Mega Financial Holding Co. Ltd., said they expected no significant financial impact from related claims. …

TransAsia bounced back quickly from the July crash. Revenue passenger kilometers – a measure of an airline’s traffic – dropped 64 percent in July from June, but rebounded in August, JihSun Securities Investment wrote in a research note. Insurance covered all compensation claims, it said.

The airline is part of conglomerate Goldsun Group, which has businesses ranging from concrete to telecommunications. TransAsia accounted for about 39 percent of the group’s total revenue in 2013, according to an annual report from subsidiary Goldsun Development & Construction Company Ltd *.

You're right, I should have looked into that first. The tail fins are about 3m higher than the main wings. Still it's an amazing conicidence that it hit the lamp pole in that fashion, even more so as the plane seems to be moving rather in the direction of the viewer than away from him.

Oh, here's a TVBS "news" report showing the taxi driver (who supposedly "fainted" when "hit") get out, walk to the barrier, take a quick glance over the side & walk straight back to his taxi. That would be perfectly normal — if there was no plane wreckage or carnage to see and just following a director's orders <_< They seem to be trying to make it more believable by replaying it several times, with the camera following him!

full link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKyaSXRjbc0

Watch the driver's quick glimpse & back to taxi uncut @ time start ► 1:00 — then the edit, zoom, pans trying to make it look longer ► 1:14 & ►2:27.

UPDATE: The apparent camera angle discrepancies have been confirmed as just the effect created by the edit zooms in the "news" footage, next page: http://www.cluesforum.info/viewtopic.ph ... 3#p2394193

Isn´t that because the image was zoomed in the second time it´s shown? The first time (1:00-1:14) the camera movement seems compatible with the movement of the car.
