BP oil spill

Anything on the news and elsewhere in the media with evidence of digital manipulation, bogus story-lines and propaganda

Exciting stuff. But a bit bizarre already. I’m pushed for time here but compelled to jump.

The Telegraph found the chopper image on ‘an American blog: http://www.siliconth.com/gallery/displa ... play_media.

God knows who’s operating this ‘blog’ or what the theme is. Seems to be a sparse collection of repetitive adverts for commercial and high-profile stuff like ‘social media’ Facebat and Twatter, ads for Upod, Shrek 9, the United Nations, and no doubt Homeland Security (though I didn’t get that far) and more for those who register. Perhaps I’m just not getting it.

Also linked is Gizmodo. It is highly commercial ‘ blog’, pushing the ‘genuine disaster’ line along with Ipud and Heinekan.

Gizmodo’s conclusion: “Obviously there are bigger fish to fry when it comes to BP. But every time they fabricate an image like this, it undermines whatever little credibility they have left, along with all of the actual documentation of the massive undertaking this has been and will continue to be. It speaks to a company still more concerned with image than reality, in charge of repairing something so terribly broken that we can't afford to treat it with anything but total candor.”

The ‘something terrible’ links to confirmation of a massive oil spill with dire warnings. Image ‘Stained Blue Marble' from Gizmodo.

The Giz article is serious about social awareness, “? don't forget to use the Stained Blue Marble for your iPhone's background.”

How easy would it be to get a blog under the Gawker Media umbrella and become a source for Corp Media? Maybe the T'graph is open to more startling evidence from independent web hosts of Photoshopping in the media?

Something's fishy, and it ain't the fish.

Whoooopie,

Our dear friend and 9/11 anchor man Matt Lauer from "msnbc" and Kerry Sanders beat OBL on the submarine thing cos they are talking to some guys who have been going down deep in the water for 12 days to find some oil:" but they cant find it"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp ... 0#38358062

Well, 94 days since this oil spill began spewing out millions of barrels of oil and now even MSM says they cant find it.

So where will it show up? Europe, China or Iran?

Or maybe the fine gentlemen of the Government did a good job cleaning it up?

Or maybe they are going to use it for control on how many oil rigs can be out there through UN and how much oil they will be allowed to take up?

Maybe China saw that one coming and did their own oil disaster to show that they can clean it up in a heartbeat so the US of A cant use that argument in UN.

This Psyop is good and I am still impressed how good they are on what they are doing and in my mind they are going to use this one for 3 different reasons.

I have to say that I am not impressed of 99.9% the people of the world cos to me it seems they want to be scared sh#t-less and all the stupid people just enjoy to talk about how the world is soon coming to an end because of this Fake oil spill.

To all those people I can just say " Go rent a horror movie "

Well, Dduck,

To see Matt Lauer - again behind a major hoax -makes me nurture a hopeful thought:

The sick people aiding and abetting the scum produced by todays powerhouses are few. And the bashing they will take once they lose their base (of gullible followers) will be - once again - no dramatic spill for humanity.

At this time, the awful reality is that 80% of TV watchers fall for this crap. We have no other choice than - and I know how 'subversive' (or "idealistically nerdy") it sounds - recruit the best minds around us and bring those fools down. They are 2% of the world. We freethinkers are 10%. (roughly speaking, heh...)Let's find a way to communicate more efficiently between ourselves and bust the scumbags of this planet.

Here's another guy we need on board:

Make-believe Relatives of WTC Vicsims Divided on Obama Fake Oil Spill Psyops

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2 ... -spill-911

Barack Obama compares oil spill to 9/11

President's comments on impact of BP oil spill are ridiculous and off-base, say relatives of World Trade Centre victims

* Jenny Percival
* guardian.co.uk, Monday 14 June 2010 18.00 BST

Barack Obama today risked the wrath of September 11 victim's families by comparing the BP oil spill to the 2001 terrorist attacks, as pressure intensified on the White House to show greater urgency over the crisis.

Ahead of a trip to Louisiana and his first televised address to the nation tomorrow, Obama said the spill ? the worst environmental disaster in US history ? would, like the 2001 terror attacks, continue to influence the country for decades to come.

"In the same way that our view of our vulnerabilities and our foreign policy was shaped profoundly by 9/11, I think this disaster is going to shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come," he told the US political website Politico.

Some people who lost relatives in the attacks criticised Obama's decision to compare an environmental disaster with a terror plot in which almost 3,000 people died. "He's off-base," said former New York fire department deputy chief Jim Riches, whose son died at the World Trade Centre. "These were terrorist attacks, not something caused by people trying to make money."

Jack Lynch, whose firefighter son Michael was killed in 2001, said: "To compare an environmental accident, if that's what you call it, to a premeditated terrorist attack is ridiculous. Politicians have no sense of reality."

Sally Regenhard, however, who also lost a son, said she could see some validity to the comparisons.

"Just like on 9/11, there were no plans for emergency preparedness, co-ordination of response," she said. "It's a failure of the system and the government. I'm not offended by the comment."

Protagonists in the oil spill disaster face a crucial week. Amid criticism that he has failed to show enough personal leadership, Obama is embarking on his fourth visit to the Gulf of Mexico and will spend two days visiting other states affected by the crisis ? Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. The president will address the US in a prime-time televised speech from the White House on the oil spill . On Wednesday, he is due to hold a crucial meeting with BP executives.

In the Politico interview, Obama vowed to "move forward in a bold way in a direction that finally gives us the kind of future-oriented, visionary energy policy we so vitally need and has been absent for so long". "One of the biggest leadership challenges for me is going to be to make sure we draw the right lessons from this disaster."

Obama said he could not predict whether the US would make a complete transition from an oil-based economy within his lifetime. "Now is the time for us to start making that transition and investing in a new way of doing business when it comes to energy," he said.

"I have no idea what new energy sources are going to be available, what technologies might drive down the price of renewable energies. What we can predict is that the availability of fossil fuel is going to be diminishing; that it's going to get more expensive to recover; that there are going to be environmental costs that our children ? our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren are going to have to bear."

Well guys,

Let me introduce Bruce At The Beach to you all.

http://www.youtube.com/user/BruceAtTheB ... M1Zh9-V3MA

This guy has been down at the beach 09.00 for more then 75 days and has given his report.

If you have the time to listen to this guy he will tell you and show you that the beaches are clean and have been that way from day one, but what I think is more important is the things he is saying about how Media, Government and contractors are dealing with this stuff.

That will give you a hint on how the spin is working.

I will warn you, this is a time consuming job if you want the whole picture.

This is another guy from Destin Vacation Rentals who has done the same thing as Bruce and there is no oil on the beaches.

Great links, all of youse guyz. :)

So, 31 July here, and looks like the PSYOP is wrapping up:

Oil Spill Not Actually That Big a Deal
http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2010/07/oi ... dd-comment

Where did all the oil go? U.S. press and scientists admit that BP spill is vanishing much faster than expected
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ ... l-all.html

Just FWIW, here's something on motive that sounded good to me:
BP MAY BE TAKEN OVER BY EXXON. THE UK IS BEING ATTACKED AND LOOTED
http://aangirfan.blogspot.com/2010/06/b ... uk-is.html

THE BP PLOT
http://aangirfan.blogspot.com/2010/07/bp-plot.html
(gives some of the financial re-positioning which took place right before the "spill".)

Simon - you should start an "office pool" here, where we can place bets on whether or not the next hoax we'll be shouting down will be "The Alien Invasion", or "The Return of Jesus Through the Clouds". :D

What happens is that solid, liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons mixed with old water trapped with it, all at high temperature and pressure, leak from the bottom of the sea and that some of it (some solid, liquid parts!) is seen on the surface of the ocean. There is no oil leaking!
It seems BP was just drilling an underwater oil well through a BOP, Blow Out Preventer, or christmas tree fitted on the sea floor. The well was not producing any oil at all! It was not yet connected to any system receiving 'live crude' and killing it so parts of it could become oil.
Anyway, in my opinion most of the hydrocarbons of all types escaping from the bottom of the sea will just evaporate or be destroyed by biological processes. The little floating solids on the ocean surface will also disappear by itself fairly quickly due to air and sun. Gulf of Mexico is warm water accelerating break down. Spraying things on it will just make things worse and some people rich.

In two months time the whole incident will be forgotten. Let's wait until then!

It seems I was right after all. But it took three months.

Ha ha...more embarrassing propaganda flubs:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... id=topnews

After the a-whuppin' they got on their terrible CGI 911 footage, they tried to run this one with a "media blackout". Even then, they managed to foul it up.

"We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of a true visionary and friend, Matt Simmons. As a pivotal figure in the lives of many of our employees, and countless others across the energy industry, Matt will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time."

July 21, 2010: Matthew Simmons Discusses BP's Oil Leak in Gulf of Mexico
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwX9RXFR ... r_embedded

Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Simmons

Matthew Roy Simmons (1942/43 (?) ? August 8, 2010) was founder and chairman emeritus of Simmons & Company International, and was a prominent advocate of peak oil. Simmons was motivated by the 1973 energy crisis to create an investment banking firm catering to oil companies. In his previous capacity, he served as energy adviser to U.S. President George W. Bush. He was, up until his death, a member of the National Petroleum Council and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Not sure what to make of it all. Sim-mons, or something else?
