I just bumped into this sykewar blog - which features this pretty good write-up / introduction to the Nuke Hoax for newcomers to the topic:
What of all the Nuclear tests ? They can't be faked right? Well the footage of them certainly is, a child can see how the footage was put together using footage of smaller explosions (without anything to provide size comparison ), and footage from cameras pointed at the sun. But what of all the witnesses? How could they be fooled ? Simple really. It's the worst magic trick in the world ever!

It's good to see more folks waking up to the Nuke Hoax - surely the most 'explosive' deception of our times...

It very well may be, Hoi. Last year Dr. Darkmoon had a slightly different reaction to this topic.

So how would you expect a person "with higher degrees in Classics whose political articles and poems have been translated into several languages" to respond to the possibility that "nuclear" bombs simply don't exist?

Ad hominem attacks & appeals to authority!
The “No Nuclear Bombs” Conspiracy theory
Lasha Darkmoon
August 17, 2015

The idea that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were “firebombed” and that no nuclear weapons were used against them, because no such weapons even exist to his day, can be dismissed out of hand as arrant nonsense. Several of our best commenters, armed with historical facts, have pointed this out. Others, impervious to logic and factual information, persist in peddling the conspiracy theory that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were “firebombed” and that “no nuclear weapons” exist at all!

Political analyst Franklin Ryckaert, in a few choice words, has dismissed the above conspiracy theory as worthless trash. He points out correctly:

The political implications of atomic bombs being a fraud would be enormous.

It would mean not only that the US had cheated the world, but also that the UK, France, Russia, China, India, Pakistan and Israel had been cheating the world in a similar way.

The “treason” of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg would have been a fraud, and they would have been executed for nothing.

The Israeli whistleblower Vanunu would have been lying also, by “exposing” Israel’s nuclear arms program when no such program existed.

Israel would also be feigning right now to be concerned about a possible Iranian nuclear bomb, knowing that no such bomb had ever been built.

As for the Cuban missile crisis of 1962, that too would have been a total fake, with both Khrushchev and Kennedy cynically aware that they were engaged in a bogus argument about non-existent WMD!

Occam’s Razor would suggest that none of this nonsense is possible.
Beautifully put. There is simply no answering this. Ryckaert is the voice of common sense. He says what ought to be obvious to anyone with half a brain.

Apart from Ryckaert’s incontrovertible arguments listed above, other points need to be noted that are equally persuasive. If we are to accept the “No Nuclear Bombs” conspiracy theory, we would then have to believe that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was essentially a bogus organization. For if there are no nuclear weapons, there would be no raison d’être for the IAEA. Its 22 member states, its Board of Governors, and its countless inspectors in numerous countries would all be engaged in fraudulent activities.

If there are no nuclear weapons, what possible justification would there be for IAEA inspectors poking around in Iran, trying to sniff out hidden WMD? Are all these highly qualified scientists in fact no more than hardened cynics pretending to look for non-existent weapons?

According to the conspiracy theorists, Yes! The nuclear inspectors are just pretending that the world is full of non-existent nuclear weapons so as to justify their own existence! And also, in passing, to convince the world that America never used any nasty weapons of mass destruction at Hiroshima and Nagasaki! Good old America! Kind, compassionate America! Too nice to drop lethal atom bombs on any country! Instead, oozing with pity and humanitarian sentiment for their Japanese enemy, the Noble Warriors of Washington “firebombed” Hiroshima and Nagasaki, reducing them to rubble with tears in their eyes!

What a joke.

Before we go any further, let’s make it clear that the bombs dropped at Hiroshima and Nagasaki were different in design. Hiroshima got the first atom bomb, Nagasaki the first plutonium bomb. More people died at Hiroshima than at Nagasaki, but for various reasons I will not go into here, the bomb dropped on Nagasaki was considered more devastating — partly because it was intended by America’s Jewish-controlled administration to deliver a death blow to Christianity in Japan. This it virtually succeeded in doing, given that Nagasaki had always been Japan’s most Christian city, containing the highest concentration of Christians in all of Japan. The Nagasaki plutonium bomb was specifically aimed at St Mary’s Cathedral while Japan’s largest Roman Catholic congregation was celebrating Mass and receiving Holy Communion. The entire congregation was vaporized in a single instant at 11.02 a.m. on Thursday morning, 9 August, 1945 — much to the delight of the Jews in Washington who knew exactly where the bomb would fall.

Norman Thomas describes Nagasaki as “the greatest single atrocity of a very cruel war.”

Here are the statistics on Hiroshima and Nagasaki:

On August 6, 1945, the world dramatically entered the atomic age: without either warning or precedent, an American plane dropped a single nuclear bomb (emphasis added) on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The explosion utterly destroyed more than four square miles of the city center. About 90,000 people were killed immediately; another 40,000 were injured, many of whom died in protracted agony from radiation sickness. Three days later, a second atomic strike on the city of Nagasaki killed some 37,000 people and injured another 43,000. Together the two bombs eventually killed an estimated 200,000 Japanese civilians. (See here)
§

Another of our star commenters, Luca K, makes an excellent point that demolishes at one stroke the absurd conspiracy theory that Hiroshima and Nagasaki received the conventional “firebombing treatment”, i.e., that no nuclear weapons were used against them at all. Luca K writes:
“For the loonies who seem to be here suggesting that the nuclear attacks against Japan were just conventional firebombings: Firebombings were carried out by huge bomber fleets, normally hundreds of aircraft. No such large bomber fleets were involved in the attacks against Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”
People who advance these absurd conspiracy theories fall into two groups: deliberate disinfo agents and the Useful Idiots who promote their lies without being aware they are muddying the waters by spreading deliberate disinformation. These kooks remain impervious to both facts and logic. Thus they appear to be entirely ignorant of the historical fact (to quote Luca K) that “firebombings were carried out by huge bomber fleets, normally hundreds of aircraft. No such large bomber fleets were involved in the attacks against Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

Let’s consider Luca K’s important point.
The crucial difference between cities devastated by firebombing and cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which were devastated by atom bombs, is that hundreds of planes in constant relays over several days are necessary for the firebombing of cities, whereas ONE PLANE CARRYING ONE BOMB was sufficient for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Here are some FACTS on firebombed cities:

On March 9-10, 1945, a wave of 300 American bombers struck Tokyo, killing 100,000 people. 1700 tons of bombs were necessary to accomplish this devastation. On May 23, 1945, “520 giant B-29 ‘Superfortress’ American bombers unleashed 4,500 tons of incendiary bombs n the heart of the already battered Japanese capital.” Two days later, on May 25, “a second strike of 502 ‘Superfortress’ planes roared low over Tokyo, raining down 4,000 tons of explosives.” (See here)

If Hiroshima and Nagasaki had been given the identical firebombing treatment, as the ignorant conspiracy theorists assert, they too would have required hundreds of giant planes dropping thousands of tons of explosives over several days.

We know for a fact—for the Japanese victims were themselves eyewitnesses to each atomic attack—that only ONE plane dropping ONE bomb was sufficient to accomplish the devastation at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The bomb dropped on Nagasaki, for example, weighed 10,000 pounds. Note that: pounds, not tons.

For firebombing Tokyo, tons of bombs were necessary over several days. At Nagasaki, one much lighter bomb, weighed in pounds not tons, did the trick in nine seconds.

Like Tokyo and other Japanese cities, many German cities were subjected to firebombing. In all cases, hundreds of planes carrying thousands of tons of explosives were necessary over a period of several days in order to accomplish the devastation. Not one of these cities was reduced to ruins within a few seconds, as in the case of Hiroshima and Nagasaki,

Nor did any of these other firebombed cities report “the trans-generational malignancies and immune deficiencies caused by the deadly plutonium and other radioactive isotopes produced by the bomb.”

The case is closed.

The conspiracy theorists and their Useful Idiots in spreading disinformation are welcome to make their views known here. Experience has taught us that such individuals are more to be pitied than despised. This is because, once these loonies have made up their minds to adopt a new conspiracy theory, they will remain resolutely impervious to all the facts and to every semblance of common sense and logic.

Let our esteemed commenter ‘Felix’, writing from Thailand, have the last word:

“I believe this no nuke theory is COINTELPRO. It is deliberately designed to discredit the alternate media and other valid dissident viewpoints. It’s the same as the theory that the Queen and other leaders are actually alien lizards set to rule over us.”

The lady doth protest too much, methinks!

I haven't read this long thread so this may already have been posted: How realistic is the theory that nuclear weapons are a hoax as the referenced film implies? -- https://www.quora.com/How-realistic-is- ... lm-implies

It's a question answered by several mainstream experts. What I found interesting is that such question was even allowed and that several experts actually answered it. In the past such question, if anyone even would consider asking it, would no doubt have been removed. Now such question is at least answered.

"In terms of nuclear explosions and other large bombs, the term "ground zero" (sometimes also known as "surface zero"[1]) describes the point on the Earth's surface closest to a detonation.[2]" -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_zero

What a joke. It's of course called ground zero because there is zero effect of a nucular [sic] explosion. Just as Ground Zero had zero casualties on 9/11.

lemay was tapped by the office of scientific and research development to be a co-founding hustler at rand after the war. vannevar bush ran the osrd during the war. he reported to henry stimson, alfred loomis’ cousin and mentor. lee dubridge and alfred loomis were on rands’s board of trustees. alfred loomis financed the rad lab at mit during the war for the osrd…

…the rad lab developed loran, loomis financed the rad lab and he had tapped dubridge to ran it. morethefuckover, loomis had invented loran in his tuxedo park castle were he hung out with the likes of einstein, fermi, and bohr…

“His laboratory was the best of its kind, containing equipment that few universities could afford. His reputation spread quickly, particularly in Europe, where money for science was scarce. Loomis often sent first-class tickets to famous European scientists so that they could travel to the United States to meet with their peers and collaborate on projects. They would be picked up at the airport or train station and brought to Tuxedo Park in his limousine. At first, some in the scientific community called him an “eccentric dabbler,” but soon his laboratory became the meeting place for some of the most accomplished scientists of the time, such as Albert Einstein, Werner Heisenberg, Niels Bohr, James Franck, and Enrico Fermi. Scientists who worked personally with him were convinced of his capability and industry. His wealth, connections, and charm all made him highly persuasive.
His Tuxedo Park laboratory was nicknamed the “Tower House” and “The Palace of Science”. He turned this Tuxedo Park laboratory into a meeting place for the most visionary minds of the twentieth century; Albert Einstein, and the aforementioned scientists. Today this location is the home of The Tube Museum New York.”

Ugh, RAND. Those assholes again.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_G._Trump

…loomis was on the committee that set up the manhattan project and he had also invented sonochemistry in his tuxedo park castle…

“The modern ultrasonics era arose from Professor Paul Langevin’s 1917 invention of the quartz sandwich transducer for underwater sound transmission in submarine detection. Loomis renewed the wartime acquaintance with Professor Robert Wood and offered to collaborate and underwrite any joint research ventures. In 1926, Wood told Loomis of Langevin’s experiments and suggested the subject offered a wide field for research in physics, chemistry, and biology. It was this group that had allegedly introduced ultrasound to chemistry in 1927. When a liquid is exposed to ultrasonic waves bubble growth is created which is known as cavitation. Sound waves stress these bubbles, causing them to grow, contract and eventually to implode. With implosion, immense heat and pressure are produced that speed reactions. Every imploding bubble is a microreactor in itself. This is due to the extreme heat released upon implosion that creates a local hot spot. Temperatures can reach 5000°C with pressures of several hundred atmospheres. These benefits make sonochemistry has in recent times became a useful tool for the synthesis of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and the production of new materials with unusual properties.
With a high power General Electric 2,00 watts, 50,000 volts vacuum-tube oscillator and a quartz plate transducer immersed in an oil-filled dish, early experiments began in Loomis’s garage in Tuxedo Park, New York, some 35 miles northwest of Manhattan. As research expanded, Loomis purchased a nearby old mansion, converting it into his well-known Tuxedo Park Laboratory. The huge vacuum tubes, a large bank of oil condensers and an oversize variable condenser and step-up induction coil made the ultrasonic apparatus an imposing affair. Vibrations of 200-500 kHz were transmitted through the oil bath into glass vessels or rods immersed in the bath, achieving a range of spectacular effects that included:

” …. radiation pressures of sufficient magnitude to support 150 g and to raise a pronounced mound of oil 5 cm above the transducer; intense searing of the skin by the vibrating glass rod and the burning of wood chips and the etching and drilling of glass pressed against the tips of vibrating glass rods; heating of liquids and solids and the formations of emulsions and fogs; biological effects including rupturing of red blood cells, killing of cellular organisms, and harmful to lethal effects on fish, frogs, and mice; observations of chemical reactions and crystallization and flocculation of particles suspended in a liquid……”

These pioneering results could be taken as a present-day litany of ultrasonic achievements. Wood and Loomis also made observations of the modal patterns of rods, tubes, and plates and gave some of the first experimental data on phase velocity in rods and disks. Another first occurred when they made an ultrasonic horn by drawing down a glass tube to a tapered point to concentrate the energy at the point of application. Publication of these results started avenues of work being exploited to the present day.”

…bubble cavitation creates hot chain reactions, go figure. bubble cavitation also, coincidently of course, gives off a pretty blue light like called sonoluminesence…

A most priceless article found by Ab over at Fakeologist :

OPG to make fuel for spacecraft in Clarington by 2020
Plutonium-238 used to power deep space exploration

CLARINGTON — Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) plant in Clarington could soon play a role in fuelling NASA spacecraft.

OPG has announced that it plans to work with venture arm Canadian Nuclear Partners, to produce plutonium isotopes to help power deep space exploration.
(...)
Plutonium-238 is a byproduct of plutonium-239, an isotope used to make nuclear weapons.

Ab very aptly comments:

"More proof the nuclear industry is as fake as the space program. So fake that they work together.

Sad that my tax dollars are being shot up in smoke in so many more ways."

Indeed, it certainly looks like the nuke and space hoaxes have been walking 'hand in hand' - ever since their inception (just think of the word 'Plutonium' being used to designate the fearsome nuclear unclear isotopes...)

... and, of course, both 'scientific' scams being built upon and diffused to the unsuspecting public via children's cartoons :

The sad part is that Ontario, where I live, may be the last jurisdiction to fully embrace (and pay) for the nuke (plant) hoax. Its cost is the central election issue today, and is being downloaded to ordinary citizens where its expense is greater than most monthly food bills.
Yes, psyOps and hoaxes do cost real money and do real harm - by inducing malnutrition just to stay warm (as I look out the window at -9C!)

The following BBC article sheds some light on the sci-fi origins of "atomic bombs" and, IMO, how art shapes reality.

Was HG Wells the first to think of the atom bomb?
4 July 2015

The atom bomb was one of the defining inventions of the 20th Century. So how did science fiction writer HG Wells predict its invention three decades before the first detonations, asks Samira Ahmed.

Imagine you're the greatest fantasy writer of your age. One day you dream up the idea of a bomb of infinite power. You call it the "atomic bomb".

HG Wells first imagined a uranium-based hand grenade that "would continue to explode indefinitely" in his 1914 novel The World Set Free.

He even thought it would be dropped from planes. What he couldn't predict was how a strange conjunction of his friends and acquaintances - notably Winston Churchill, who'd read all Wells's novels twice, and the physicist Leo Szilard - would turn the idea from fantasy to reality, leaving them deeply tormented by the scale of destructive power that it unleashed.

[...]

Wells was fascinated with the new discoveries. He had a track record of predicting technological innovations. Winston Churchill credited Wells for coming up with the idea of using aeroplanes and tanks in combat ahead of World War One.

The two men met and discussed ideas over the decades, especially as Churchill, a highly popular writer himself, spent the interwar years out of political power, contemplating the rising instability of Europe
.

Churchill grasped the danger of technology running ahead of human maturity, penning a 1924 article in the Pall Mall Gazette called "Shall we all commit suicide?". In the article, Churchill wrote: "Might a bomb no bigger than an orange be found to possess a secret power to destroy a whole block of buildings - nay to concentrate the force of a thousand tons of cordite and blast a township at a stroke?"

This idea of the orange-sized bomb is credited by Graham Farmelo, author of Churchill's Bomb, directly to the imagery of The World Set Free.

[...]

In that eureka moment, Szilard also felt great fear - of how a bustling city like London and all its inhabitants could be destroyed in an instant as he reflected in his memoir published in 1968: "Knowing what it would mean - and I knew because I had read HG Wells - I did not want this patent to become public."

[...]

In Britain, the legacy of the Bomb was a remarkable period of elite scientific innovation as the many scientists who had worked on weaponry or radar returned to their civilian labs. They gave us the first commercial jet airliner, the Comet, near-supersonic aircraft and rockets, highly engineered computers, and the Jodrell Bank giant moveable radio telescope.

The latter had nearly ended the career of its champion, physicist Bernard Lovell, with its huge costs, until the 1957 launch of Sputnik, when it emerged that Jodrell Bank had the only device in the West that could track it.

we're told that john le bon's nomme de guerre-sake, gustave le bon, "prophesied the atomic age" way back in 1907...

"In L'Évolution de la Matière (1905), Le Bon anticipated the mass–energy equivalence, and in a 1922 letter to Albert Einsteincomplained about his lack of recognition. Einstein responded and conceded that a mass–energy equivalence had been proposed before him, but only the theory of relativity had cogently proved it. Gaston Moch gave Le Bon credit for anticipating Einstein's theory of relativity. In L'Évolution des Forces (1907), Le Bon prophesised the Atomic Age. He wrote about "the manifestation of a new force—namely intra-atomic energy—which surpasses all others by its colossal magnitude," and stated that a scientist who discovered a way to dissociate rapidly one gram of any metal would "not witness the results of his experiments ... the explosion produced would be so formidable that his laboratory and all neighbouring houses, with their inhabitants, would be instantaneously pulverised."

...he was also quite the darwinian. he even had a cephalometer that could fit in his pocket...

"Le Bon became interested in the emerging field of anthropology in the 1870s and travelled throughout Europe, Asia and North Africa. Influenced by Charles Darwin, Herbert Spencer and Ernst Haeckel, Le Bon supported biological determinism and a hierarchical view of the races and sexes; after extensive field research, he posited a correlation between cranial capacity and intelligence in Recherches anatomiques et mathématiques sur les variations de volume du cerveau et sur leurs relations avec l'intelligence (1879), which earned him the Godard Prize from the French Academy of Sciences. During his research, he invented a portable cephalometer to aid with measuring the physical characteristics of remote peoples, and in 1881 published a paper, "The Pocket Cephalometer, or Compass of Coordinates", detailing his invention and its application."

Alleged 'nuclear' bombs and such-like.

Serious.

The 'atomic' theory is just that. A theory. Frankly, any research upon the notion that the 'Universe', (so called), is made up from 'particles' must be a no-sense. Everything is connected to everything else. The Universe is analogue, not digital.

What we call 'digital' is merely expressing a way of looking at the Universe to try to explain it. A 'digit' is to explain a singularity from one process to another. You may choose a different word from 'process' but that is 'academic'.
The whole 'atomic' theory and the notion that there are reactive/non-reactive 'particles' is at the very least a fairy tale. We do not 'know' how the Universe is constructed and that is the gist of it.

The Human animal needs to 'nounify' to be able to comprehend the natural environment (the one in which it comes to be). In calling names (nouns) for what we perceive as 'objects' (and upon which we rely in everyday communication) we lose the fact that such 'objects' exist only from our particular sensual apparatus and our ability to communicate that to others of our species.

A 'table' to a so-called Western person may be limited to a structure with four 'legs' and a 'top' for a particular purpose. A 'table' to a human animal who does not have the tools to create this particular object (called 'table') would be unaware of this if his own device were a flattened rock.

If the 'atomic' theory is incorrect, or does not meet other requirements, then the 'science' is at least, incomplete. Thus it cannot be relied upon to explain all the events that we perceive each day.

Not so serious

I had a notion to look up the 'mini' nuke hypothesis. You know, if they can make big ones, why not small ones. You know the ones used at the 11/9 fiasco (I use a different calendar) according to some theories of an obvious controlled demolition (even if you did not come upon this marvelous site).

I searched for 'Mini- Small nukes'.

My research brought the following link. I think the title explains what I was looking for and contains two short videos relating to the 'Davy Crockett'. I know I shouldn't but 'hats off' to the poster.

http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/this-i ... 1684923814

We then have our old fiend:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suitcase_nuclear_device

I am sorry but the evidence of a hoax/scam/whatever for any of these alleged devices is scarce (to use litotes).

How silly.

"You can now watch 62 newly declassified nuclear test videos

See the fireballs and mushroom clouds of previously hidden US nuclear test videos, available on YouTube for the first time.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California made a stir earlier this year when it released a group of Cold War-era atmospheric nuclear test videos that were declassified and approved for public viewing. We now have a sequel that's just as devastating to watch as the first round.

The laboratory's latest batch includes 62 videos posted on Thursday. The films are from a series of 210 tests conducted by the US between 1945 and 1962. Many of the films, which were kept in vaults around the country, were suffering from decay.

These films aren't just interesting artifacts. They're also being used to help train modern-day computer simulations. Scientists are looking to the films to provide information on how much energy [Energy? From what, patting themselves on the back for fooling everyone?] was released by each of the tests.

Although the examination of Einstein and modern physics that I have undertaken in the previous pages does not deal directly with the application of modern physics to the development of the atom and hydrogen bombs, nevertheless, because there is an indirect relationship and because the topic of nuclear bombs is dealt with in detail elsewhere in my writings (Nuclear Bombs, the Nuclear Deterrent, and all other Nuclear Matters: The Most Fantastic Hoax of All?), I thought that some readers might find a short and easily understood description of the theory of nuclear physics as set out by establishment scientists useful.”

The point here is that this book (I don’t remember its title) was published in the year of 1985. (!)
