I finally got off my arse and googled him myself, only, unlike you, I rather cleverly spelled his name correctly; CostellA - not CostellO :P

Anyway, back in the day he analysed the Zapruder film and concluded that it was a forgery, but somewhat unfortunately, he has been associating himself with the inglorious, heavy-breathing, sweaty gate-keeper Jim Fetzer, at least from 2003 - 2011. However, I don't think that this fact in any way diminishes the value of his analysis of the Climategate emails, let alone the emails themselves which, as you rightly point out, are the perps own words, in black and white, available for all to see.

ICfreely wrote:The 2009 Climategate incident delayed their plans but they are persistent to say the least. Their rhetoric gets more & more pathetic as time goes on. For example, John Kerry recently made this bizarre (doublespeak) statement:

Appearing today at the Milan Expo 2015, Secretary of State John Kerry spoke about the role he believes global warming played in the Syrian civil war.
While Kerry goes on to blame Assad for the war, he makes no mention of his erstwhile ally Turkey in both the drought and fomenting the war.

We are only concerned with the drought here of course so let us consult wikipedia, for the sake of expedience, rather than accuracy. It gives enough detail on the Ataturk Dam for the purposes of exposing this charlatan anyway,
At this point, the Atatürk Dam has cut the flow from the Euphrates by about a third.

Syria and Iraq claim to be suffering severe water shortages due to the GAP development. Both countries allege that Turkey is intentionally withholding supplies from its downstream neighbours, turning water into a weapon. Turkey denies these claims
Well they would deny those claims.

Their former president Suleyman Demirel, was more forthright on the issue
Neither Syria nor Iraq can lay claim to Turkey's rivers any more than Ankara could claim their oil. This is a matter of sovereignty. We have a right to do anything we like.
The BBC, hardly a reputable source, but in this case prophetic, noted the problem in 2000
For the Syrians and Iraqis, the political message was clear: if they chose to pursue policies disapproved of by Turkey, they risked losing their water supply.
So John Kerry, what say you? A gigantic great concrete block covering Syria's main water source would seem to be the primary cause of concern when assessing their water problems.

They must be laughing at themselves when they make up these narratives. Multiple levels of deceit in each news release.

Tell me about it, clank!

Urmia (my ancestral hometown) is currently suffering the same fate.
Lake Urmia in the northwestern corner of Iran is one of the largest permanent hypersaline lakes in the world and the largest lake in the Middle East (1,2,3). It extends as much as 140 km from north to south and is as wide as 85 km east to west during high water periods (4). The lake was declared a Wetland of International Importance by the Ramsar Convention in 1971 and designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1976 (5,6).
http://na.unep.net/geas/getuneppagewith ... icle_id=79
Shortly after it was ‘blessed’ with UNESCO ‘protection’ the construction of a series of dams diverted water from Lake Urmia. Then a causeway was built across the lake which cut off its circulation. Those were the two main causes of its rapid depletion. However, according to UNEP:
A study modeling the relative influence of various factors on the decline of Lake Urmia found that 65 per cent of the decline was from changes in inflow caused by climate change…[ ]
http://na.unep.net/geas/getuneppagewith ... icle_id=79
It’s a classic case of reversing cause & effect to advance a political agenda.
2-2. Results of drying of Urmia Lake
Effects of Urmia Lake drought could be classified in ecological, health, social and economic problems. Unique ecosystem of the lake will be destroyed completely parallel with salt increase. Another main problem is appearing a salt desert with area more than 5000 km2 which overlaid with a 50-60 cm thick salt deposits. When drought happen, wind will carry out these salts and chemicals and pesticides deposited in the lake basin to adjacent areas as far as 300 km (up to Zanjan plain) and these contemplators will damage agricultural lands, polluted the ecosystem and cause a variety of diseases [due to toxic pesticides] in nearby urban and rural areas. The same process is happening in nearly dried Aral Lake currently as winds erode the Lake basin and deposit ten million tones of dust on nearby habitats [3, 4, 6].

With regards to Turkey’s Young Jerks:
From Contributions to Diaspora: Assyrians in the History of Urmia, Iran

1915: The Year of Bondage:

Assyrians call the year of 1915 “the year of bondage” because it was in the winter of 1915 following the Russian army retreat from Urmia that Turkish forces together with their Kurdish allies and local Azari Turkish supporters or opportunists descended upon the Assyrian and Armenian villages. The Turkish and Kurdish forces occupied Urmia for 5 months or 18 weeks from January 2, 1915 until May 24, 1915. A detailed history of the holocaust that followed has been recorded in various sources and will not be repeated in this paper.35 Only less known facts will be recorded here. The Christian villages annihilated during the 16-week occupation were:

18 villages in the Branduz district
16 villages in the Shahar Chai or Urmia district.
14 villages in the Nazlu district.
3 villages in Targavar.36

The first holocaust was to be followed by a second one in the summer of 1918 when the civilian population was left unprotected again. This time the entire Christian population, including the Armenians fled south to join the British forces in Sain Kala, from where they were taken to Baquba refugee camps.

On the eve of WWI, all the mission stations in Urmia had packed and left except for the American and the French. The French mission was attacked and burnt down, and all the refugees as well as the clergy were massacred. The American missionaries risked their lives taking care of 15,000 traumatized and starving refugees who had taken shelter in their headquarters.38 The Assyrians who survived the holocaust attest to the fact that “without the presence f the American Mission not one Assyrian would have been spared during WWI.”39

Speaking of the Euphrates:
The Qanats of Iran
Some 3,000 years ago the Persians learned how to dig underground aqueducts that would bring mountain ground water to the plains. Today the system provides 75 percent of the water used in Iran

Whatever the future of Iran's qanat system may be, it stands out today as an impressive example of a determined and hardworking people's achievement. The 22,000 qanats in Iran, with their 170,000 miles of underground conduits all built by manual labor, deliver a total of 19,500 cubic feet of water per second - an amount equivalent to 75 percent of discharge of the Euphrates River into the Mesopotamian plain. This volume of water production would be sufficient to irrigate three million acres of arid land for cultivation if it were used entirely for agriculture. It has made a garden of what would otherwise have an uninhabitable desert. There are indications that in early times the country had flourishing vegetation that gradually dried up, partly because of deforestation and the loss of fertile soil by erosion. The Persian people responded to potential disaster with a farsighted solution that is a classic tribute to human resourcefulness.

The Qanat: An Ancient Technology Still Delivering Water Today
For a technology to still be in use thousands of years after it was introduced to the world it must be beneficial to the population it’s serving. In the case of the qanat there are several benefits. Considering qanats are generally used in arid/semi-arid environments where it can get very hot, one of the benefits of keeping the water underground as long as you can is that it is not lost to evaporation. This may seem like a small thing, but over the years keeping the water underground can save millions of gallons. A second benefit is that no electricity is needed for pumps since the system uses gravity to keep the water flowing. Thirdly, a qanat is sustainable because its source is groundwater. The qanat will never significantly deplete an aquifer because it only takes as much as the aquifer can give. If the level of the aquifer drops too much then the water will stop flowing into the qanat, and the aquifer can recharge itself. Further, once the water gets into a town or village the water can be used as a power source to turn mills. And finally, needless to say, a qanat brings much needed water to an area so that it can flourish, grow crops, and establish itself.

AG, Loretta Lynch, states they have "discussed" whether to pursue civil action against climate change deniers. However, we are told, as recently as this week, that there has been no warming for 58 years.

Will 9/11, Boston Marathon, Sandy Hook, etc., deniers be coming to the "discussion table" next?

Well, it didn't take long for them to tie the conspiracy theorists into their net of subversives, like the climate change deniers. They are now (admittedly) tracking students (and of course us) who have anti-government positions, etc., to protect them from joining the local jihadists in their neighborhood. Of course we all know that's what American teenagers are focused on during their high school years. Parents across this country should be outraged, but of course they probably won't even know its happening. Teachers should be outraged that they are now being asked to be terrorist spotting trainers:

"The FBI calls on teachers to “incorporate a two-hour block of violent extremism awareness training” into the core curriculum for all youth in grades 9 through 12."

http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2016/03/06 ... emism-CAGE

"The FBI and federal and local law enforcement groups categorize many libertarian, constitutionalist and other groups and individuals as “sovereign citizens. According to an FBI counterterrorism analysis, sovereign citizens “may refer to themselves as ‘constitutionalists’ or ‘freemen,’ which is not necessarily a connection to a specific group, but, rather, an indication that they are free from government control.

The FBI considers the Redemption Theory (the abandonment of the gold standard in favor of fiat currency), emancipation “from the responsibilities of being a U.S. citizen, including paying taxes,” and “conspiracy theories,” including the formation of global government and a police state, as indicators of extremist or sovereign citizen ideology."

DiCaprio Raises Awareness About Dire State of Iranian Lake
on May 7, 2016 | 9:47:27

Leonardo DiCaprio has expressed concern about the state of Iran’s nature, specifically, the environmental situation in the area around , Sputniknews reported.

The actor posted a picture of the lake and wrote the following under it on his Instagram page.

“A dilapidated ship dock remains on dried up Lake Urmia in northwestern Iran. It used to be the biggest salt lake in the Middle East, but it now contains five percent of the amount of water it did two decades ago due to climate change, dam construction and decrease in precipitation.”

he post received a huge response from Iranian users with more than 76,000 comments. Some of the most popular responses were:

“We thank you for your attention and invite you to see the lake with your own eyes to understand the scale of the problem! No matter how much the media may say about the problem of the Lake Urmia, it has not received such an effect, as the attention of Leonardo DiCaprio to this problem. And we must appreciate it!” hamidreza2507 wrote in a comment.

“Iran’s Natural beauty is not its own but also the wealth of the world!” _motii97 said.

“Thank you, Leo, for your support of our country!” iranvolleyball_different said.“We are really sorry about this problem… and are thankful for your patronage. We really need the help of foreign friends to save the lake!” akherati.hesam said. [ :puke: ]

Many people thanked Leo for expressing his concern and some said that Iranians must unite to save the lake.
“Only one post by Leonardo DiCaprio will not save Urmia Lake from drying. It’s us, the Iranians, who must unite and do something in order to save Urmia!” shayanmosazadeh wrote.

“We are thanking Leonardo DiCaprio, who drew the attention of the world to our lake. However, unfortunately, we are not thinking about this issue, as it seems that we are still asleep. We hope that Leonardo DiCaprio will definitely visit Lake Urmia!” Toofan.javad69 said.

Some people expressed their dissatisfaction with how the Iranian government is handling the crisis.
“Thank you for your attention to the Urmia Lake. It is a pity that our government does not pay enough attention to such problems! Tahere_rezaeee wrote.

http://realiran.org/dicaprio-raises-awa ... nian-lake/

It’s a pity that my fellow Iranians can’t seem to comprehend the fact that it was the Islamic Republic’s enforcement of UN environmental policy (and not ‘climate change’) that led to Lake Urmia’s demise. It’s a pity that they’re so easily blinded by the 'star power' of a UN fearleader.

Now I can't help but wonder if his death in the film "Titanic," in a depiction of another hoax involving icebergs, was predictive programming...

Meanwhile, DiCaprio has also "acted" in roles such as CIA agent (Body of Lies), "thought implanter" (Inception), MK Ultra mind control subject (Shutter Island), Imposter (Catch Me If You Can), and undercover cop (The Departed).

The more I see the effect of the "Climate Change" and "Global Warming" movements on my friends and family, the more I become convinced that this is a "playing piece" of some opposing attitudes on human development. Perhaps one is already "winning" in a sense.

One would have us channeling our demands into useless gatherings and shows of impotence: demanding climate solutions is a bit like marching against nuclear disarmament. You can dismantle something that doesn't work in the first place and it will just serve to foil and disempower decades of activist attitude of the populace. The police are told not to give an inch, but it wouldn't matter if they did anyway.

The other has some kind of New Agey attitude coldly detached from immediate human feelings — it would have us serving some kind of leftist aims, in general, such as critiquing corporate pollution (instead of kicking our addictions to the convenient products that create it in the first place — and here we are on computers made in China — in the interest of what? more State regulation?) and/or arguing for peace.

I wonder if these are opposed.

One of the painful things to watch, is young women raised on a steady diet of public school and public media, and as one area of their 'learning', coming out as zealots against global warming... the painful part is watching their justifications why it is ok for them to travel half way around the world by plane for their vacations, using some horrific amount of 'non'-renewable oil.

Global Warmism is now considered as reliable a science as epidemiology (which in 1950 made it possible to establish the link between cigarette smoking and lung cancer). This has led climate change peddlers to propose legal persecution and punishment of disbelievers, invoking the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The first target would allegedly be fossil fuel companies (if you can believe that), but soon the liability would be extended to "certain think tanks and advocacy groups" and "others that have sown confusion and weakened public support".

This piece of deception is worth examining in its entirety:

Disbelief in the gas chamber myth and noncommittal to the transgenda are no longer the only items on the list of punishable thought crimes.

Its the new religion. Man always thinks in his own ego, that the weather changes based on man's actions. That by making small sacrifices in life, people can change the weather, or in this case prevent a hell inspired overheating of the Earth.

The fear of tobacco is another classic example. Man wants to believe that by making sacrifices, in this case giving up a pleasurable activity, that God will reward him with a longer life, ergo the religious person gets to believe that man is in control of his own mortality.

As usual, the statistics don't back up their theory that smoking reduces life expectancy. Japan is the heaviest smoking industrialized nation and the longest lived. South Europeans smoke dramatically more than Americans do, yet live a little bit longer on average.

I really don't want to get too off topic, and you're right to research lurking variables and point out how much we can't control. But living healthfully increases your statistical chances for living longer. We remain alive by a balancing act and that balance is what determines health rather than some regimented particular chemical concoction fit perfectly for everyone.

So knowing more about what your body needs, whatever that is, does indeed increase your body's well being, even if one person's poison is another person's mana, probably depending on other stuff they do.

Anyway, closer to the topic at hand, I think it is reasonable to ask people to live healthfully and make the sacrifices they would want to make for each other. But to enforce it by law backed by State violence — is this "the answer"? Seeking truths about the health of an ecosystem that includes us is also reasonable. Asking questions about what our system does, as a whole, is a logical intellectual reflection about being participants in it. The government solution is often what feels so unreasonable.

There are people collecting real data about changes in measurements, and these people have the sense they are earnestly trying to take a pulse of the planet. I would really like to know how much is being futzed with and how much remains raw data. When I ask climate scientists, for example at universities, about these subjects, they often give answers in a very compartmentalized way.

One person doesn't collect the data but builds statistical analysis software. Another presents data that was collected by someone else. The actual data is taken by people working for all sorts of places, government or not — like USGS and NOAA — and then I see the nonsensical graphics produced by "climate satellites" — data that is clearly bogus gobbeldygook for advertising the "technological marvels" though they are not in space or possibly anywhere except a NASA bunker — and I wonder how much of that data is fudged for the rest of this intellectual chain of command. Something very fishy is going on with the data. I think we won't be able to access more details about why (though we can guess) unless we can help the people we know, who are involved, to ask better and less faith-based questions of the data being handed them.

Anyway, it seems that — often — when we do get a real "pulse" of the ecosystem, there is still another department of this system and that is for the doctors of spin.

Where we find our individual health is for us to decide. But where we find our collective health, as a species or a huge family on this planet, requires communication and discussion, as distasteful as recluses find discussion with their fellow human beings to be. It would be nice if the discussion were not dominated by the usual clowns — who are better at devising magic shows than real world reasonable solutions.

Reading your post Hoi, made me think of how they could make the Global Warming theory believable assuming it was true. Put say 1,000 temperature monitoring stations around the world. Ideally a ways outside of the cities.

Around each station have a bunch of thermometers to get an averaged reading. And have 100% of these thermometers open to the public. So that everyone from school kids to amateur scientists could go and collect & verify the data, and report it online on hundreds of websites to share it with other science nerds. Also they could bring their thermometers from home just to verify the official ones are accurate.

This would also be a way to engage the public, and to show kids how honest measurements are done.

Through this way we could have confidence in the data. Then official scientists and amateur scientists could put the datasets into computers and make all sorts of graphs, There would be innumerable ways to analyze the data and find out interesting things about the Earth's temperature! And temperature is something everyone understands so it makes it ideal for getting people interested in science.

Right now it is like some guy claiming he got these datasets showing the Earth is warming up. But he gets super defensive when we ask for information about where the data came from.

Ordinary people and lower-level activists may quite honestly believe the global warming hoax, but the story of that hoax is incomplete without recognition of the power and money behind it. Who are the hoaxers?

US Senate Minority Staff Report
"The Chain of Environmental Command"
How a Club of Billionaires and Their
Foundations Control the Environmental
Movement and Obama's EPA
http://leftexposed.org/wp-content/uploa ... Report.pdf

From "Findings" on page iv: "The “Billionaire’s Club,” an exclusive group of wealthy individuals, directs the far-left environmental movement. The members of this elite liberal club funnel their fortunes through private foundations to execute their personal political agenda, which is centered around restricting the use of fossil fuels in the United States."

You won't want to read the whole thing, but do skip to pages 5. 6 & 7 to see the charts which show the names and $ amounts. And this was only as of 2012. Can you imagine how much more since?

Promoting the agenda of "the Alliance of World Scientists", Mr. Ripple and colleagues just published an article in Bioscience (Oxford) which "tells it like it is":
[From the introduction] Scientists have a moral obligation to clearly warn humanity of any catastrophic threat and to “tell it like it is.” On the basis of this obligation and the graphical indicators presented below, we declare, with more than 11,000 scientist signatories from around the world, clearly and unequivocally that planet Earth is facing a climate emergency.
Exactly 40 years ago, scientists from 50 nations met at the First World Climate Conference (in Geneva, February 1979) and agreed that alarming trends for climate change made it urgently necessary to act [February 1979 was extremely cold, not warm]. Since then, similar alarms have been made through the 1992 Rio Summit, the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, and the 2015 Paris Agreement, as well as scores of other global assemblies and scientists’ explicit warnings of insufficient progress (Ripple et al. 2017). Yet greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are still rapidly rising, with increasingly damaging effects on the Earth’s climate. An immense increase of scale in endeavors to conserve our biosphere is needed to avoid untold suffering due to the climate crisis (IPCC 2018).

[From the conclusion] Mitigating and adapting to climate change while honoring the diversity of humans entails major transformations in the ways our global society functions and interacts with natural ecosystems. We are encouraged by a recent surge of concern. Governmental bodies are making climate emergency declarations. Schoolchildren are striking. Ecocide lawsuits are proceeding in the courts. Grassroots citizen movements are demanding change, and many countries, states and provinces, cities, and businesses are responding.

If 11,000 scientists say it, it must be true, right?
