Okay. I’m going to see if I can remove that topic then re-post it.elmoastro » December 7th, 2018, 10:31 am wrote:Thanks SCS. Rest of site works perfectly for me.
We will see if that works.
Let me know.

Re: THE "CHATBOX"
Dear SCS,
Is there anyway to upload a .pdf file into a post?
I have two relevant books for the Vaccination topic but they are rather large. I have had these for a number of years and do not have links to them. I can upload them to my MEGA account if that is acceptable.
Be well.

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
I have received a PM from a member who is receiving a “my SQL error” when trying to post.
I’ve had this happen to me before, but it usually clears up within a few minutes. I don’t have enough technical know-how to fix this.
But, whether it makes a difference or not—I usually close out my browser (and sometimes clear my internet cache), then try again.
I’ve also had this happen when trying to “save draft,” so I recommend copying and pasting elsewhere first, just to be safe—especially on a long post.
Please let me know (here, or via PM or email) if you have any feedback or tips to offer. I’d like to know the extent of the problem so I can address it accordingly.
Sincerely,

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
Hi, folx. Just wanted to let everyone know that hoi.polloi@mail.com is something I don't really check any more. Also, all my passwords seem to have expired to all the September Clues and related sites (or else my operating system and browsers are so old that sites are not liking my logins?), which seems for the best, since I'm not on here so much and it seems irresponsible to have keys to things I am not really contributing to anymore. (Totally unrelated to this research, I guess I also have to return some physical keys to some people, now that I think about it.)
Anyway, I am still available for tech advice to all people, when I have time, so I leave it up to you if you want that e-mail listed as webmaster of SeptemberClues.info. It's only slightly dishonest to do so since I don't have access to the site ATM.
I do own the domains "septemberclues.info" and "theclueschronicle.info" at DynaDot and I'm happy to pass those on to the appropriate parties. Just let me know how you want to do that. It's a fairly simple procedure of a domain name transfer code for those that know the basics around purchasing and using domain names.
But ironically I am writing to the present admins for a request. I was trying to login to SeptClues.com so I could upload the latest greatest (and last!) The Clues Chronicle, a nice "end cap" as K put it to the show. (Though we plan on continuing onward with research and interviews in other capacities, of course!)
Is there some way an admin would be willing to get the file from my Google storage or somewhere else and put it in the www.septclues.com/theclueschronicle/episodes folder?
Peace
PS: Post 5060! lol not intentional

Dear Mods,
In my continuing effort to track down some of the broken links, videos and images on this site, please update the following links on the 9/11 Phonytographers Thread here:

I, and other members would be most grateful if any mod could take the time to download these photos and host them somewhere else to preserve them for eternity. I'd be happy to do this myself but I don't have mod access. My fear is that these will one day be wiped off the internet entirely and forever, not even to be recovered on the Wayback Machine. In order to preserve this most important research, if one of you could take the time to do that, we all would appreciate it VERY much!

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
I’m saving the images now—and I’ll be happy to save them to DreamHost so they will be carefully preserved. I also routinely save an external backup of CF—just in case.anonjedi2 » July 31st, 2019, 8:30 pm wrote:Dear Mods,

Thank you for the links.
All the best.

Update: I have fixed the first three—as of 1:00 AM (Central Standard Time) on August 1, 2019. I have them all saved however. So I’ll finish up later. Thanks again for the suggestion.
Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
I just want to inform that Simon will be hard to reach at the moment. There's been a storm in Rome but he is well but his modem and computer was damaged so he currently has no internet connection. He's reachable on his cellphone though.

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
It seems when it rains it pours.
Now www.theclueschronicle.info blog is down. Without a servage login to septclues.com, where the site is hosted, I can't investigate or fix this but maybe one of y'all want to take a look and see if that can be done? I miss my podcast album covers!

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)
Both video links on the page http://septemberclues.info/vicsims.shtml are not working.
