Now that I think about it, I think it was over 10 gigs of garbage data they were trying to dump on anyone who would try to sift through it in the public interest. I will make a better introduction post in that thread, too, about what it was all about.

Okay, data re-uploaded ... at last!

Sorry for the long delay. Simon has graciously offered the SeptClues.com space again, so here is the new intro: viewtopic.php?p=1112711#p1112711.

Would it be difficult to provide a text-only version of the website? I just discovered that reading cluesforum on my cell-phone is costing me a lot of money. When not at home, mobile internet can cost about 0.10 €/MB. I calculated that downloading one page of the "Nice Attack" topic is on average 5 MB, because of all the pictures and youtube thumbnails. So visiting 3 pages would cost already 1,5 €. That is comparable to the price of an entire newspaper (not that I would want to buy that, sorry for the insulting comparison.)

Without pictures I think it would only be about 0.6 MB for a full page. Off course, pictures are a very important element of cluesforum, but sometimes I am happy just reading the posts.

There is a way to disable image loading in firefox for android but it is not easy to turn it on or off:
https://support.mozilla.org/nl/questions/961547
(I use the value "3" because then the "smilies" are still shown. B) )

Sorry to interject in Admin Area but if you are using Firefox - go to your Add-Ons (top right corner of browser) and type Reader in the Search box. Install, and you will find another button on your Browser bar. Sorry don't know anything about phones!

Today I visited the "September Clues Tour Guide " at fakeologist.com: http://fakeologist.com/september-clues-tour-guide/
There is something wrong with the links at the top of the page, behind the cluesforum banner and the text "“TOUR GUIDE” to the September Clues research.

When I click on them while being logged on to cluesforum, they bring me to the page http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?p=2346197#p2346197, where the following message is shown:
"You are not authorized to read this forum."

When I click on them while not being logged on to cluesform, the following message is shown:
The board requires you to be registered and logged in to view this forum.

I don't think this is supposed to happen, it is not very welcoming for newcomers.

I also have some comments about the text:
9/11 is but a giant – and still ongoing – money-making scam. It rotates around the most well-funded and profitable hoax of modern history. Everyone involved in the scheme is reaping a sizeable return from their ‘investment bond’ which, naturally, has “SILENCE” printed all over it. For anyone to ‘speak out’ would be both ruinous and suicidal – a most distasteful option. To be sure, ‘suicidal heroics’ only exist in journalistic fairy-tales such as the outlandish newsmedia’s narrative of 9/11 and its “nineteen religious fanatics”. The skeptics objecting that “too many people would have had to be in on this” fail to account for the most fundamental aspect of human nature: our survival instinct.

1)I think 9/11 is much more than a money-making scam
2)I think you should explain what you mean when you write "for anyone to 'speak out' would be suicidal"
3)There are other, maybe better answers to the people (I wouldn't call them skeptics) that object "too many people would have had to be in on this"

Is the strikeout tag not working again? Occasionally, all I see are the tags, not the actual strikeout functionality.

Suggestion to move the posts about pi=4 from the 'Discussing Miles W. Mathis' topic to a new topic because the former topic will become unreadable for new readers.

This is an issue we've always had with this php forum : apparently, members cannot change their passwords - and (over the years) each time someone has lost / forgotten their password, they've been contacting me via e-mail - and I have made a new password for them.

Nonhocapito, is this something which you could look into - and hopefully resolve?

If not, dear Seneca - please contact me by mail and I'll change your password for you. I know, this isn't the best possible situation - but rest assured that I won't ever log in to the forum with your pw - and pretend to be you! -_-

I can vouch for Simon on that. If memory serves me- I forgot my password before I could ever make my first post!

Thankfully my clumsiness was not held against me, although Simon spent precious time helping me get started. :)

Thanks Simon, that wasn't what I was worried about. ^_^
I was worried that my password could be hacked from your mail account. I will wait for Nonhocapito to resolve this.

Simon and Hoi,

On Page 4 of the ISS Thread (I believe it was merged from the ENDEAVOR Thread).

Fakery in Orbit: THE I$$

by simonshack on July 4th, 2011, 7:34 pm

Now, look what I found today, Nonho: it's an image published on the website of a Canadian company allegedly supplying NASA with all sorts of sophisticated cameras and imaging systems: "NEPTEC" http://www.neptec.com/technology/space/tridar.php

Image

As you can see, this is a digital, artist's impression of the ISS - but the backdrop appears to be a standard aerial earth view from a passenger airplane.
Yet, there is no mention on that website that it is a (half)digital and (half)real image - this is just left to the viewer's imagination...

The thing is, NEPTEC claims to be the manufacturer of:

THE SPACE VISION SYSTEM (SVS) http://www.neptec.com/technology/space/ ... system.php
THE LASER CAMERA SYSTEM: http://www.neptec.com/technology/space/ ... system.php
THE LONG RANGE OPTICAL SENSOR: http://www.neptec.com/technology/space/ ... sensor.php
Image
THE SPACE-IR CAMERA : http://www.neptec.com/technology/space/ ... camera.php
Image

My point here being: why would a top, official NASA supplier of high-end camera systems choose to show artificial images of the ISS on their website? Wouldn't they - as optical experts - be particularly concerned with showing highly professional (and real) ISS photographic material?

There are some broken images and links here. It seems these pages no longer exist on NEPTEC's website. I've provided wayback machine links below, from July 14th, 2011 to replace the 4 links that simon posted above. Unfortunately, the images seem to be lost forever.
