IRA blast destroys London bus, Aldwych 18th February 1996

This is the forum dedicated to all 'minor' local psyops - phony murders, kidnappings and whatnot. It has now become evident that the news media constantly feeds the public with entirely fake stories - in order to keep us in eternal fear of our next-door neighbours and fellow citizens.

IRA blast destroys London bus, Aldwych 18th February 1996

Unread post by Euphoria »

Three people were feared dead and eight hurt after a bomb exploded on a double decker bus in the heart of London's West End.

The front of the bus was destroyed by the force of the blast on the Aldwych near the Strand. The bus had travelled over Waterloo Bridge along Lancaster Place and was passing a Ministry of Defence building and turning onto Aldwych when the bomb exploded. The explosion comes just nine days after the IRA ended its ceasefire with a bombing in the Docklands area of London, which killed two people.

The blast at 10.38pm on Sunday, which ripped the red number 171 bus to shreds as it reached the Aldwych.

A sawn-off roof again. I think pdgalles may have brought up this incident before, albeit briefly. It's notable that the 'bombing' PSYOP took place right before the left turn towards Tavistock Street.

The above photograph was from Sean Dempsey of PA. Have we found another photographer SIM here?!

Some other 'stories' covered by 'Sean Dempsey' over the years:

London missiles on Stratford rooftop furore, 2012
Blaze at at the Newington Library on Walworth Road, Southwark 2013

Attacker SIM (?) Edward O'Brien

Unread post by Euphoria »

More commonly known as Ed 0'Brien. I can't find any photographs of the villain. However, the men claiming to be the brother and father of 'Ed' are pictured below:

Apparently 'Ed' was also a cousin of Richard "the bawman" O'Brien.

We see a similar trend in the British tabloids now with the attempt to create PSYOP gangster families (Kieran Stapleton/Mark Duggan).

In this 1996 PSYOP, the 2 kg semtex bomb detonated as he stood near the door of the bus. Does this seem likely?

The pathologist was Dr Iain West (d.2001). From 1984 to 1998 he was head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at Guy's Hospital:

It was West who demonstrated that WPC Yvonne Fletcher had been shot from the window of the Libyan Embassy. His interpretation of the injuries received by the victims of the Brighton bombing helped to locate where the bomb had been hidden. He also conducted the second post-mortem on Robert Maxwell and showed from torn muscles in his back - overlooked in the first post-mortem - that suicide was a real possibility.

More recently, he combed through the wreckage of the Paddington rail disaster, and demonstrated that a single shot to the head had killed the television presenter Jill Dando.

It's a shame that West will never face justice.

Sorry but... Where are the window shards? A bomb explodes on a bus - and we can see NO window shards?

In any case, this 1996 "event" looks very much like some blatant pre-conditioning for LONDON 7/7 2005, doesn't it?

Andrew Shaw PSYOP photographer

Unread post by Euphoria »

'Andrew Shaw' is another photographer who covered the Aldwych bus bombing in 1996.

His website can be found here:

This was his photograph in the aftermath:

As you can see from his website, 'Shaw' also covered the Omagh and City of London '93 attacks, and the 2000 May Day riots in London. He certainly gets around!

Well spotted, Simon. Look what I found:

I suppose it's possible that the blood and glass may have been removed before the photographs were taken, but that seems unlikely. Also, is it possible that parts of the rear of the bus were blown off, when the bomber was near the front door?

Quite an easy 'clean up' job - and not so much of a mess that it would shut down central London for days. Very convenient...

I like how the bombers are careful not to ruin any of the product placement ...
