Minor Media Stories: Theater of the Absurd

This is the forum dedicated to all 'minor' local psyops - phony murders, kidnappings and whatnot. It has now become evident that the news media constantly feeds the public with entirely fake stories - in order to keep us in eternal fear of our next-door neighbours and fellow citizens.

Minor Media Stories: Theater of the Absurd

Unread post by lux »

I thought I'd start a thread for lesser news stories that are, at first glance, so obviously implausible, ludicrous or shamelessly contrived that no further debunking or analysis is necessary beyond simply reading them and laughing. These minor hoax stories pop up continually and serve to add to the general erosion of critical thinking which infects the sleepy masses who willingly absorb them without ever giving them a second thought.

As an example, here is one I spied today – an obvious “plug” for the old U2 spy plane which reportedly will be retired soon (or perhaps already has).

Spy Plane Fries Air Traffic Control Computers, Shuts Down LAX

According to “sources familiar with the incident” and although “the exact technical causes are not known “ ...

NBC reports that a U2 spy plane “passed through the airspace monitored by the L.A. Air Route Traffic Control Center” at an altitude of 60,000 feet and this simple event “overloaded” all the computers of a major ATC facility and their backup computers (yeah, sure it did) and …
As a result, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had to stop accepting flights into airspace managed by the L.A. Center, issuing a nationwide ground stop that lasted for about an hour and affected thousands of passengers.
This then caused a slew of occult-numbered flight cancellations, delays and diversions across the Southwest USA.
At LAX, one of the nation’s busiest airports, there were 27 cancellations of arriving flights, as well as 212 delays and 27 diversions to other airports. Twenty-three departing flights were cancelled, while 216 were delayed. There were also delays at the airports in Burbank, Long Beach, Ontario and Orange County and at other airports across the Southwestern U.S.
So, the mere act of a U2 flying through a particular airspace caused the failure of all those computers and their backup computers and the shutdown of a major international airport and a chaotic disruption of commercial flights across several states and all for reasons unknown and all according to "sources familiar with the incident."

Yeah, I'm sure that really happened.

Why would the perps do that, though? I take it the delays did happen (perhaps for some other reason). Maybe we should look into that, to be sure. Passengers can now seek compensation for delayed flights from the airlines, so I don't see why this whole episode would be fabricated just because - but I can see that aspects of it could be.

It wouldn't surprise me if A) there was another cause to the real delays, and/or (B) some of the statistics were altered, to give an opportunity place occult numerology in the press articles.

Having said that, if there is a long-term plan to gradually wind down commercial air travel (by making it so uncomfortable, with delays, intrusive security etc.), I can see a possible motive for simply delaying the flights and 'making up' the justification.

When one considers that even with the advent of more efficient engines, higher output, better fuel economy etc., it still takes as long [if not longer I seem to remember reading recently] to fly from London to New York now as it did in the 1960s.
Some of it could be down to greater traffic etc., but I would think that the volume in traffic has been matched by the increase in the number and efficiency of airports around the world too.

Why do they make up any of their silly stories?

I'll offer one plausible explanation. This is a "practice" session to see how easily they can shut down an airport and create a narrative out of thin air. It could be a trial run for a larger event in the future, similar to the LAX incident from a few months ago. Think about a drill scenario which is practicing for the real thing. Since so many of these psyops involve airplanes, it's important to keep these events in the public consciousness but we can't have them all be terrorist events, so they come up with these smaller, minor exercises.

Iranian rescued trying to reach Bermuda from US in bubble
An attempt by an Iranian exile to travel more than 1,000 miles (1,600km) from Florida to Bermuda in a giant inflatable ball has ended in failure.

He also successful tested the "Hydro Pod" in 2013, according to his website, taking about 12 hours to travel 33 miles (53 km) from the Californian coast to Catalina Island.

He sought refuge in the US in 2003 after being arrested in Iran for anti-Islamic activities, including eating during the holy month of Ramadan, according to his lawyer at the time, Suzannah Maclay.

Ms Maclay said he had also served 18 months in prison in Iran for associating with "counter-revolutionaries".

The 33 mile test run as described by his website...
In 2013 Reza tested his Hydro Pod by taking out from Newport Beach to Catalina Island and it was a great success. It took approximately 12 hours and 33 miles one way. He lost 15 pounds from all the humidity and sweat that was exuded on this trip. Everything went as planned no complications were reported.
So naturally after a result like that he attempted the "1,033 mile trip" to Bermuda!

Interesting note
This Iranian has been to 55 countries.

He lost 15 pounds in 12 hours!?!?!?!?!? He should market his contraption as a weight loss aid.

*Deep breath*

I actually don't know where to begin with this one... oh, of course, let's start with a 2013 Daily Mail headline...

'I thought the father of my baby was a Premier League star- but he was a fake': NHS boob job model Josie Cunningham reveals she was fooled for 18 MONTHS by a man who claimed to be footballer
Pregnant Josie Cunningham has revealed how she was tricked for 18 months into believing the father of her baby was Premier League footballer Curtis Davies.

The wannabe glamour model, who rose to fame after undergoing a £4,800 breast enlargement on the NHS, claims she was 'manipulated' into having a relationship with a man who pretended to be the Hull City star.

Just hours before going into labour, the 24-year-old told her 55,000 Twitter followers she had been 'physically fooled' by the imposter - despite searching images of the player on Google when she was warned the man could be a fraud.
Image
Posting four pages about the situation on Twitter, she wrote: 'I feel so dirty, ashamed and devastated. I've been completely manipulated by a man for 18 months pretending to be a Premiership footballer.

'I feel physically fooled by him and had sex with someone who claimed to be someone he wasn't.

'I let a conman put his hands on me, kiss me with his lips and fill my head with lies.'
Even before this Josie had been in the news...

Wannabe glamour model who had £4,800 taxpayer-funded breast enlargement to SUE NHS because she claims they are now too big

Following the 'fake footballer father' thing it turned out that the real Father was a Surgeon....

Glamour model who got £5,000 NHS boob job became prostitute and is now pregnant.

... or a 'mystery Professional Footballer' (for 'real' this time?)...

Pregnant Josie Cunningham reveals dad of unborn baby is a mystery professional footballer

... or her "best friends Boyfriend"...

Josie Cunningham: A THIRD man could be the dad - her best friend's boyfriend.
She claims the shock of discovering she’d been tricked into having an 18-month fling with a lookalike of Hull captain Curtis Davies triggered contractions nine days before her due date.
Anyhow this 'woman' then apparently wanted to kill her baby...

NHS boob job girl Josie Cunningham plans to have abortion so she can star on BIG BROTHER
Josie, 23, is already 18 weeks pregnant by either an escort agency client or a Premier League footballer. But she claims her late life-or-death decision has nothing to do with who the father is.
.... then changed her mind...

"I felt baby kick and couldn't go through with it"
“But I kept telling myself I must be doing something right because at least everyone knew my name. I had 13,000 Twitter followers overnight – I didn’t care if they hated me
... and started selling tickets to her Birth...

People have paid £10,000 each to watch Josie Cunningham give birth

... whilst considering a return to Prostitution after the Birth...

Josie Cunningham WILL return to escorting after giving birth to third child if the price is right
"I enjoyed it.

"People have sex for nothing so whether I was being paid or not I still enjoyed it.

"It was so much fun. Men would take me to Victoria's Secrets and spend £3k on underwear for me.

"They bought me knickers and bras and sexy lingerie."
... before cancelling the selling of tickets to her Birth.

Now it's a girl baby after all, I'm going to quit smoking and drinking - and cancel tickets to live birth, says NHS boob job scrounger Josie Cunningham
Then last month she announced to her 54,000 Twitter fans that the four tickets to the home birth had sold out in just 14 minutes - netting her £30,000.

Many, but not all, Mirror readers opposed her plans to Kill her Baby...

Josie Cunningham's rollercoaster pregnancy: From her abortion plans to her birth and all the controversial bits in between
Petitions were started with the aim of stopping Josie appearing on Big Brother , with a whopping 93% of Mirror readers declaring they would boycott the show if she was on it.
... and liked 'sharing' pictures of same baby (88 Shares).

Josie Cunningham shares first pictures of baby she wanted to abort for chance to appear on Big Brother
Last week Britain's most hated woman gave birth to the child she wanted to terminate in a bid to boost her TV career
She was also blasted for planning to sell tickets to her baby's birth for £10,000 each, as well tickets to watch the labour via Skype for £200.
.

More recently; Josie plans to appear on 'I'm a Celebrity get me out of here!'...

Should Josie Cunningham appear on I'm A Celeb just for the sake of ratings?.

Surely the only explanation to this story is... holographic lightning?

Lightning kills 11 Colombian tribe members during ritual

Leaders from the Wiwa ethnic group were carrying out what was described as a spiritual harmonisation ritual when they were struck.

Another 15 people were injured.
The Wiwa carries out "spiritual harmonisation rituals" when they are faced with internal disputes or environmental problems, Onic explained in a statement.
'Global warming' then...

On a trivial note, nice to see to see that the one guy has sunglasses on so they can 'See No Evil', the next one has a mask on so they can 'Speak No Evil' and the next one has long hair over their ears so that they can 'Hear No Evil' all while 'Maradona' is being led away by the 'Hand of God'...

So, it appears that computer geniuses will now be "hacking" into pacemakers. We could be seeing casualties en masse as early as 2014.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/fir ... ar-BB7SMqR

Nothing like a daily dose of fear to go with your morning coffee. So, after checking one of my old e-mail accounts (hotmail), I logged out and was taken to the MSN news splash page. Grrrr. As I was typing "cluesfor---", the headline, "First online murder to occur by end of 2014, Europol warns". Well, I took the bait. Here's what reeled me in:
Europol cited a report by U.S. security firm IID that predicted the first “online murder” would occur by year’s end, based on the number of computer security system flaws discovered by hackers.
Great, now the terrorists are jumping out of our computers, remotely flushing our toilets and turning off our refrigerators to spoil our produce and warm our beer. The article continues, and this is my favorite part:
Though there have been no cases to date of hacking-related deaths [lol], last year former vice president Dick Cheney revealed that the wireless function on his implanted defibrillator had been disabled for this reason. His fictional counterpart on the political thriller Homeland was murdered by this method. “Well, I was aware of the danger...that existed, but I found it credible,” Cheney said in an interview last year. “Because I know from the experience we had and the necessity for adjusting my own device that [the scene in Homeland] was an accurate portrayal of what was possible.”
Don't you just love when your favorite politicians cite television shows as justification for their fear mongering? No? Yeah, neither do I, especially since I don't watch this crap! I remember back in my C-Span-watching days how much it irked me that the show, "24", was such a prominent factor in policy discussion in the House and Senate.

The predictive programming taking place here is nothing new, I'm merely surprised by the blatancy and, to be honest, the shallowness of it. I can't wait for the day when "hackers" will be remotely accessing networked microwaves in parliamentary buildings to use as IED's, "just like that movie that came out the year before"!

"Hero pilot saves passengers and then dies in fiery crash" claims this ridiculous media story complete with cartoon illustration of "what happened."

Note that "ABC News has blocked this video from display on this website" so use this link to watch it.

Supposedly the pilot hovered the blimp a few feet off the ground and told his passengers to jump. So why didn't he jump too? Blimp pilots are able to control the altitude of their ships with or without passengers.

Running mans changing shirt color?
