Totally agree. "The media made mistakes" is the same silly bailout excuse that so many people make on governments' behalf. Bush blundered into Iraq. Obama mistakenly pushed policies that worsened the recession. Etc., etc., ad nauseum.

No gov., and no politician, EVER makes a mistakes or accidentally pushes the wrong policy. Every result, and every bad consequence, is always entirely foreseen and planned.

...still no Irene-section? well, u won't mirror my stuff anyway ;

the 2 pics below are based on complete lies. There was no strong rain in downtown nyc **at all**. east village was harmless with a little bit fresher wind in les, very small leaf parts but *zero broken trees [with 1 odd exception, maybe hand-'cut' at nite [thesis] and so must have been soho: no damage and no venice-style nonsense. btw, the "bronx-rain" was drilled some weeks ago with some alleged pipe-burst ;
But maybe u will believe now the media this time more than *me, lol. Maybe ask your more "reliable" ny correspondents ;

ps: this will be my last comment on the event incl. any further 'anniversary-garble', promise and regards ;

[ I moved your post here in the Irene thread, ewing2001. I don't know what is your problem with us having or not having a discussion about Irene, or us believing the media "more than you". Who are you? what is "your stuff"? why the attitude? apparently you had a single post back in 2009, and a few more this year all in the japan earthquake thread. This doesn't make you any less of an unknown on this forum. Why not introducing yourself here? http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=838 ~nonhocapito]

Oh, yeah. Now that you make me notice, the email does say "Nico Haupt". I was wondering about the barely comprehensible allusions. As if we need that around here...

In case you wonder what the foam is that he's covered in, check out part 2

These reporters are BRAVE! and full of s..t I might add.
I just watched and it looks fake to me. In the mid 90s my mother and step=father bought a condo in Ocean City and in 2003 they retired and moved into the condo. 2006 they sold the condo and bought an old farmhouse off the island a few miles. I talked to mom yesterday and she said they never lost electricity. I am feeling as though I might need to call her and see what she says about the foam.
