Re: THE DERAILING ROOM

For the record - though the topic has been deemed VERBOTTEN: http://www.phy.mtu.edu/alumni/history/DMGPlumbLines.pdf Are you seriously suggesting that this paper disproves a spherical Earth? No, I am suggesting that the experiment being referenced is a legitimate way to test the curvature of the Ear...

Re: THE DERAILING ROOM

[Admin Notice (SCS): please see the post I made here , and the one following it. Note: I placed this post here after seeing the larger picture of a clear attempt to cast a ridiculous cloud of suspicion over me, Simon, and ultimately the entire Forum.] Observer, I fully agree with your line of reaso...

Re: SUGGESTION BOX (for Admin action)

[Edited by SCS to delete a sideshow about “earth shapes,” which is not permitted on Cluesforum. PERIOD. The information at the bottom was somewhat useful, so I didn’t delete the entirety of the post.] [quote="[url=https://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?p=2407750#p2407750] . . . P.P.S. As anothe...

Re: Elon Musk, SpaceX and PayPal

There are other even more futuristic ideas. Like there is no real need for stoplights with automated cars. In fact there isn't even a reason to slow down going into intersections as the computer can time them like a mesh of cars. This reminded my of something I saw years ago that I found intriguing...

Re: THE DERAILING ROOM

The language used in this thread, by such otherwise wise and perceptive folks, saddens me. You all are sounding like the silly headlines in the newspapers or reported on the tell-lie-vision - "United States to Iran: Drop Dead!" - you do understand that "countries" are arbitrary g...

Re: Simon in the USA — Summer 2018

If you read "unshakable beleif" in what I write then you are misinterpreting and I might have expressed myself unclear. Apologies, Patrix, that term was perhaps uncalled for. It is the impression that I have gotten from you over the last year or so - I sincerely hope that any conclusion t...

Re: Simon in the USA — Summer 2018

Hi Patrix, You didn't really answer any of my questions, so here they are again: [The idea that stars are distant suns is] based on what evidence? [The idea that the Earth rotates is supported by] which experiments? Any that you have performed yourself? I read a dozen or so pages from the book that ...

Re: Simon in the USA — Summer 2018

I find it evident that stars are distant suns Based on what evidence? Even the mainstream - and Mr. Brahe himself - seem to acknowledge that there are issues with the "stars are distant suns" theory: https://imgur.com/download/jXosgtt https://physics.ucf.edu/~britt/Geophysics/Readings/R2T...

Re: Simon in the USA — Summer 2018

Mundus vult decipi, ergo decipiatur. I’m not sure why anyone expected anything different. Kent Hovind has many videos where he goes and gives presentations at universities, some quite prestigious, and after demolishing the “science” of evolution the reaction is largely the same as you describe (imma...

Re: THE "CHATBOX"

Darwin, Pasteur or Fleming did not pop up out the earth like potatoes, do you agree? They were the product of a profound transformation for the better. Evolution? Pasteurization? Antibiotics? These are your examples of scientific progress that were "the product of a profound transformation for...

Re: NASA'S F.E. DBA STRATEGY

The issue that I have with this experiment - and others like it - is that it relies on the incorrect assumption that light always travels in straight lines which is demonstrably false. In fact, I see light bending as it travels through the atmosphere on a near-daily basis when I am out driving: http...

Or maybe I screwed it up somehow? Here is the link: https://ww...

Re: Simon in the USA — Summer 2018

I will be at the conference in Minneapolis in July, come hell, high water, $80 admission fees, trolls, shills, Phil Plait, "deniers", "truthers", etc. etc. or high water! (FYI the water is super high here right now!) I sincerely cannot wait. I have so much respect and admiration ...

Re: Introducing the TYCHOS

Ha! Well, I wouldn't call Simon's work "mysterious as fuck" unless you mean it inspires one to solve certain mysteries about how governments fake events, footage, data and proofs. I wouldn't call it that either. But envision this scenario: Take a random US "Citizen" Force or oth...
