Ok, so today I'm starting this little summergame for allcomers - enjoy! It's called :
"DEBUNK A SEPTEMBER CLUE !"
And today's clue for allcomers to debunk is... :P :
Some people still believe that the Naudet 1st hit is REAL FOOTAGE.
So today's challenge (N?1) is...
Show us any real footage featuring similarly bopping buildings!
This is quite easy to debunk, :P
I can explain why the buildings are moving. Thanks to two inventions invented 4.5 billion years ago. One named the sun, and the other named the wind. Below, we can clearly see how they played a part in the buildings movement on 9/11.
Firstly, The heat from the sun expanded the concrete, and when the wind came along it reduced the size of the concrete.
Therefore explaining, the shaking effect.
Temperature variations in concrete
Changes in the temperature of concrete can cause expanding, As the concrete gets hotter, it expands; as concrete gets cooler, it contracts. This is similar for many other materials you have probably learned about.
Secondly,
It is a well known fact that on windy days, the wind has known to sway buildings and skyscrapers? The streets in New York are very long? therefore, creating wind tunnels, which would make a building sway on impact.
Therefore explaining the swaying effect.
Wind Resistance
In addition to the vertical force of gravity, skyscrapers/buildings. Also have to deal with the horizontal force of wind. Most skyscrapers can easily move several feet in either direction, like a swaying tree, without damaging their structural integrity.
