yeah, I spent a while looking at his posts yesterday, couldnt make much of it. but Simon's got a point, maybe we don't need to give him all of our moneys... I still find it would be interesting to see how the wing reacts in non-cgi life.

Do you think that this Indycar chassis (undoubtedly stronger than a Boeing767) would have sliced right through the wall if it had been doing 500mph? And do you think it would have looked much different if it had struck THIS obstacle ? :

I wasnt being sarcastic about my interest to see how that plane would have actually reacted though! Not that I think it would be too different to throwing a soda can into a concrete wall... but yeah as for this particular fund-raising, I couldn't agree more thinking that whatever happens when they finally get their "tens of thousandths" it still would somehow not prove that planes dont melt into buildings.

I actually mentioned an F1 car with my father a couple days ago! on my tenth attempt to explain the real 9/11 to him. Couldn't get past the "but it was going at 500 mph" and "but it's made differently" bullshit arguments...
