Wow, Team-X is so cool! They have the X-factor that Gen-Xers love.
As does Space-X, X-box and the X-games...
I see their whiteboard had the phrase 'Encourage Wild Ideas' written on it.
I would have gone with 'Synthesize Bullshit Configurations'
At least something real and 'fun' is coming out of this from Lego

Keep it up, Citronbleu! Here's a tip of my hat to your noble efforts!CitronBleu wrote:Update on FOIA request for release of information related to the MSL Sky Crane architecture
Hello all,
Here is an update on my Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on 7 December, 2012.
(it would be nice to see more support/encouragement of those who take the time and effort to file FOIA requests!)
Re: MARS & the Curiosity Rover - NASA's latest hoax
I have a distinct feeling that the JPL Sky Crane design allegedly used when landing a vehicle on Mars is a military secret that cannot be presented for US national security reasons, e.g. terrorists may be inspired (how to fool or harm you).
Re: MARS & the Curiosity Rover - NASA's latest hoax
CitronBleu,
I also tip my hat to you for your efforts. I'll wait patiently until NASA and JPL announce that they've lost the documents, just like they did with the 700 reels of original video footage and blueprints from the Apollo Missions!
I do have one question regarding the video. In your opinion, are these people all spooks/actors or real, unwitting engineers that are too compartmentalized to understand that they are just a cog in a wheel and may all be duped?

Did you see the photo anomalies, like the one labeled "bread," and that sort of thing? Then there was one photo labeled "WTF." I thought NASA was supposed to be all kid and family friendly. WTF is not very Sally Ride and Christa McAuliffeish is it?

Curiosity has just released video footage of Mars' Phobos moon passing overhead! Enjoy the brilliant detail!

Gee, thanks guys!!!!!
I was having trouble installing a Hewlett Packard printer on Linux. So, I got "religious" and crossed every t and dotted every i. When the install batch asked me "what is the name of you printer?" I said "Rover," and when it asked me "what is the location of your printer?" I said "Mars" of course. No thanks to Clues Forum.

Re: MARS & the Curiosity Rover - NASA's latest hoax
What is the connection between the High-Tech landing of an inter-planetary rover on the planet Mars, Amusement parks, and athletic equipment?
ATA Engineering!
This past June 17, 2013, NASA awarded the prestigious 2012 George M. Low award to private contractor ATA Engineering, a small company of 100 or so employees, for their "key role in the mission by conducting detailed mechanical simulation work to support spacecraft's challenging entry, descent and landing at Mars in August last year." http://mars.nasa.gov/msl/news/whatsnew/ ... ewsID=1486
The "George M. Low" award is a NASA award which "recognizes large and small businesses that demonstrate excellence and outstanding technical and managerial achievements in quality and performance on NASA-related contracts or subcontracts." http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/codeq/gml/
ATA engineering is a small company which was formed in April, 2000 from a division of SDRC, the Structural Dynamics Research Corporation, which specialized in CAD modeling (Computer Aided Engineering) applied specifically to mechanical systems.
As appears to be the case in companies I have researched relating to NASA/JPL or their affiliated employees, this company has not been immune to scandal, since it was sold off and renamed after top company executives were caught red-handed inflating company earnings in the 1990s. Involved in the scam was the audit company responsible for overseeing SDRC revenues. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SDRC
A closer look at the employees working at ATA will reveal a certain number of them were previous employees working at JPL/NASA.
ATA Engineering, the recipient of the prestigious 2012 NASA award, not only designs high-tech interplanetary space rovers and probes, but also roller-coasters for amusement parks, sporting equipment, alternative energy, and artistic/sculpture (what?). http://www.ata-e.com/industries-served
How about a functioning bullshit-meter to pick up on blatant dishonesty, fraud, and shameless deceit?
*Edit* for clarity.

Re: MARS & the Curiosity Rover - NASA's latest hoax
There were only about 800 users connected to the stream yet not one of my questions ever appeared on the live chat, all were censored.
Not only that, but certain posts were duplicates, and others were one-word posts like "hello" or "hey" as if the chat stream were totally free-flowing and anyone could post anything they wanted. The last post was non-sensical.
It still felt satisfying knowing the NASA censors were reading my questions
*Edit*
Here are some of the comments/questions I posted:
"How did the spacecraft slow down from 6,000m/s to 0m/s in 420 seconds through drag alone in an atmosphere which is less than 1% Earth atmosphere??"
"How did the Sky Crane successfully land a rover on Mars using only 8 gallons of fuel per rocket??"
"How could you have successfully landed a preposterous, bizarre, never-tested contraption on Mars while at the same time the Project Morpheus testbed vehicle, which used the same auto-correct navigation system as that used aboard the MSL, failed miserably in lifting itself two meters above ground in controlled environment??"
"You used the same algorithms to land the rover on Mars which you used for the "Moon Landing" missions? How convenient!"
"Why did you design the rover with cables sticking out everywhere? What type of engineer would ever design such a contraption?"
"Enjoying photoshopping your images, NASA? Maybe you should learn to make them more believable."
