SHUTTLE LANDINGS FAKE TOO? (1)
This question is, in view of what we have seen so far, certainly a legitimate one. I trust you will agree that, if we can determine that
one video of the many shuttle landings betrays signs of forgery, then
all of the landing videos must be questioned. Let us take a look at this one:
ENDEAVOR COMES HOME (STS118 - August 8, 2007)

To expose this video as a forgery is, in fact, not very complicated and requires no special video skills. All we have to do is keep an eye at the clouds:
Please enlarge in your screen the second picture above (0:09). You can do that by clicking on
control+ (on most keyboards).
Ugly, jagged pixelation can be seen around the wings - a classic sign of compositing (the shuttle image is inserted over the runway view).
Moreover, check out this 'pixel-flickering' seen behind the rudder in this short segment:
This is also a classic sign of poor/flawed rendering - not any known real-world, visible vortex/wake effect.
Now, please watch - and LISTEN - to that STS118 video ( from 0:56 onwards). A very loud, "steam-locomotive" sound can be heard. What is it? Well, I've been wondering what it was for a while - since I've often heard the same sound
at the beginning of several LAUNCH videos, such as this one:
"STS-107 Columbia's final launch" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSkPDc0gMr8
Well, believe it or not, I have read that it is some sort of heat-ejection process that the shuttle undergoes after landing ( to cool it down from the 'superhigh temperatures of atmosphere re-entry'...). Allright, but why do we hear it also
before lift-off, then? No idea. Anyways, here are two gifs extracted from another 2 landings: both are black/white video segments - and that's odd in itself; well, the first (STS134) may be explained by the use of some infrared camera - since it is a nighttime landing. But the other (STS122) was a
daytime landing, so why on Earth do they switch to that black/white shot? Absurd, senseless and inexplicable, if you ask me :

But back to that steamy locomotive sound: my best guess at this point is that it's some kind of silly inside joke - perhaps related to the ASTROTRAIN TRANSFORMER? Astrotrain is a kids' toy that can assume the form of both a steam locomotive and a space shuttle:

Yes - the clowns behind this longstanding mega-hoax may well be capable of such unspeakable idiocy. Just my opinion + two cents.
