"False flags and Black Ops
Tavistock manufactured shocks
Something's gone horribly wrong
Hot flushes for the Neo-con

In deep denial

No one believes

Steel frame buildings

Song for Covid 19.

Unread post by antipodean »

Listened to this the other day by one of my favorite bands, and it's appropriateness to Covid 19 resonated with me.

So all of you be damned we can't have heaven crammed
So Winston Churchill said I could have smacked his head
And all of those infected waiting to be collected
I must get out at any price before the feeling gets too nice

CHORUS
Just can't get, just can't get no protection
Just can't get, just can't get no protection
Just can't get, just can't get no Can't get no protection
Protection, protection

Every bomb is detonated every switch is thrown
And everybody tells me don't be scared act as if you never cared
So I wear a blank expression to conceal my real impression
Turn off all the information radios just pick up that station

So turn off this sound I'm ready to go down
I don't know myself, I don't know you either
You're full of disease it's something I discovered
I know you've been mixing with Big Brother's brother
It ain't the knife in the heart that tears you apart
It's just the thought of someone
It's just the thought of someone
It's just the thought of someone sticking it in, sticking it in

And then those ghastly faces recur in nightmare places
Happy hours come and go much too short and much too long

Turn off all the information radios just pick up that station
Protection protection protection
It ain't the knife in the heart that tears you apart
It's just the thought of someone sticking it in
Protection protection Switch it off switch it off switch it off
Protection Switch it off switch it off switch it off
Protection protection You want to hide? You want to hide?
You want to hide, hide, hide? Protection

Exposing ... rather speaking truth ... back in 1977
Sparks of the Tempest
(Kansas)

The sparks of the tempest rage a hundred years on
The voice of the dreamer screams, the cause of the pawn
The King and the Queen are gone, each piece is the same
The difference between us is a part of the game

Darkness is spreading like a spot on the sun
The dead are the living in the age of the gun
While everyone clamors for the justice they seek
The world is corrupted and the strong take the weak

They mold you and shape you, they watch what you do
The sparks of the tempest are burnin' you through
Spreading like wildfire, fallin' like rain
Though they may promise, they only bring pain

The future is managed, and your freedom's a joke
You don't know the difference as you put on the yoke
The less that you know the more you fall into place
A cog in the wheel, there is no soul in your face

Run for the cover, Millennium's here
Bearing the standard of confusion and fear
Spreading like wildfire, fallin' like rain
Though they may promise, they only bring pain

Blood in the sand, a cry in the street
Now the cycle is nearly complete
Ten thousand years, and nothing was learned
No turning back, now the wheel has turned

Big Brother is watching and he likes what he sees
A world for the taking, when he's ready to squeeze
The King and the Queen are gone, each piece is the same
The difference between us is a part of the game

Soothsayer saying now tell me no lies
What is this madness that is filling the skies
Spreading like wildfire, fallin' like rain
Though they may promise, they only bring pain

I put George Floyd into an anagram solver and the only result that appeared is Edge of Glory

A notable Lady Gaga song released in 2011.

The meaning of the song according to Gaga is being on the edge of death (the point which you've won at life). When her Grandfather passed away she dedicated it to him.

Interestingly the saxophonist in the video, Clarence Clemons, who helped produce the song, died two days after the video was released.

If you watch the video there does seem to be some symbolic reference that is open to interpretation.

A clue perhaps to another one of the Nutworks twisted games.

Here is Mike Campbell's COVID-19 inspired song titled "Lockdown". Mike is was the guitarist for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers but has since formed a new band called the Dirty Knobs.

Damn! Mike Campbell beat me to it ! :P

I better release this homey lockdown jam we did with my band a few weeks ago - before we all forget the ridiculous COVID-19 lockdown (well, that may take many years!...)

Very cool, Simon. You could make a video with ludicrous scenes from the lockdown and use the jam as soundtrack.

This thread has mostly lyrics by rappers, hip-hoppers and rock bands so I figured I´d break the groove a bit with a political and social criticism poem/song written around 1592.

Sir Walter Ralegh (1554-1618) did a lot of wretched things in his life, from flattering Queen Elizabeth I, to massacring the Irish, to attacking Spanish ships to steal gold lifted from South America. But his quill was quite a gifted one!
The Lie

Go, soul, the body’s guest,
Upon a thankless errand;
Fear not to touch the best;
The truth shall be thy warrant.
Go, since I needs must die,
And give the world the lie.

Say to the court, it glows
And shines like rotten wood;
Say to the church, it shows
What’s good, and doth no good.
If church and court reply,
Then give them both the lie.

Tell potentates, they live
Acting by others’ action;
Not loved unless they give,
Not strong but by a faction.
If potentates reply,
Give potentates the lie.

Tell men of high condition,
That manage the estate,
Their purpose is ambition,
Their practice only hate.
And if they once reply,
Then give them all the lie.

Tell them that brave it most,
They beg for more by spending,
Who, in their greatest cost,
Seek nothing but commending.
And if they make reply,
Then give them all the lie.

Tell zeal it wants devotion;
Tell love it is but lust;
Tell time it is but motion;
Tell flesh it is but dust.
And wish them not reply,
For thou must give the lie.

Tell age it daily wasteth;
Tell honor how it alters;
Tell beauty how she blasteth;
Tell favor how it falters.
And as they shall reply,
Give every one the lie.

Tell wit how much it wrangles
In tickle points of niceness;
Tell wisdom she entangles
Herself in overwiseness.
And when they do reply,
Straight give them both the lie.

Tell physic of her boldness;
Tell skill it is pretension;
Tell charity of coldness;
Tell law it is contention.
And as they do reply,
So give them still the lie.

Tell fortune of her blindness;
Tell nature of decay;
Tell friendship of unkindness;
Tell justice of delay.
And if they will reply,
Then give them all the lie.

Tell arts they have no soundness,
But vary by esteeming;
Tell schools they want profoundness,
And stand too much on seeming.
If arts and schools reply,
Give arts and schools the lie.

Tell faith it’s fled the city;
Tell how the country erreth;
Tell manhood shakes off pity;
Tell virtue least preferreth.
And if they do reply,
Spare not to give the lie.

So when thou hast, as I
Commanded thee, done blabbing—
Although to give the lie
Deserves no less than stabbing—
Stab at thee he that will,
No stab the soul can kill.

I was in a particularly good mood today and, for some reason, my mind drifted to this fairly abstract yet important thought:

:wub: IS LOVE TRUE? :wub:

In this song (from my band's 2017 album), I tentatively concluded that...

LOVE IS TRUE: https://thesocialservice1.bandcamp.com/ ... ve-is-true

h/t fakeologist, who as you may know, but in case you don't - has launched the fantastic https://fakeotube.com/

CHORUS
This is a System Reboot! Control Alt Delete
We are taking back the planet from the hands of the elite
We cut through the propaganda, we unveil the deceit
We debunk false information, we expose dirty schemes
We attack like antivirus to eradicate the greed
Never waiver from our mission to awaken all our people
We multiply by millions yelling out what we believe in
Truth, Knowledge, Liberty. Equality and Freedom!

SINTHESIS
Something is missin' inside the system that we live in
How we're programmed to believe that our life's only mission is
go to school, get a job, raise some kids, buy a house
fancy cars, shop at malls, put it all on credit cards
They promote consumerism with their ads on television
tellin' us what we should buy and how it is we should be livin'
All the things we should be gettin' to be a good citizen
it seems the only thing we need to do is pay their dividends
And they'll say we're maladjusted 'cause we don't fit in their structure
But their structure's only function is to hold us under
Keep the truth undercover, make you want more than another
When they breed materialism they pin us against our brothers
The basis of their system is to keep the people locked
inside a cycle of addiction tryin' to make it to the top
of the pyramid constructed by the global elite
It's time we reboot the system
Control Alt Delete!

ASPIRIT
This system is corrupted shutting it down is our cause
Imploring with the public to pull the plug from the power source
But us fools are stuck to the coward's course
caught in a storm of cloudy thoughts bound to conform
and cower to lousy laws It's how we're taught
spending credit yet we can't afford to house the poor
with astounding amounts found in accounts for war
And if you're on my level I'm sure you've found the flaws/floors
Or saw the towers fall when N.W.O. was proudly born
But if bowing down is now the norm
then I suggest we question the agenda's of all authorities now in force
If corporations fought for nature like a flower's thorns
Instead of domination and profit conquering nations with bombings
Sponsoring hate is an honest way to escape from the knowledge that
slavery is upon us but the power's yours!
We need you to listen, don't sleep through the vision
As the beat booms, we speak truth
to reboot the system!

DISL AUTOMATIC
We are trapped inside a system
that relies on the division
of the masses so they caste us into classes that we live in
we judge each other based on social status' we're given
no one cares about character, all that matters is your income
corporatism is designed to blind the human vision
so consumerism has become the people's new religion
t.v. programming 'em so they can't see through the fiction
when you try to speak the truth they view it as a superstition
patriarchy's dominated us from the beginnin'
of society, it's time that we empower our women
united we're winning hit 'em with knowledge that we're spittin'
I ain't quittin', if I die I'll be a martyr not a victim
companies profit by locking people up in prison
our government is under the elitist supervision
we speak truth so listen
to this deep rooted wisdom
we will fight for our freedom 'til we reboot the system
