ACTA

Unread post by bostonterrierowner »

I have been watching ongoing anti ACTA media coverage recently . Its all over news . Prime minister TUSK is even organizing "public consultaions" with internet users going LIVE on MSM . Morover I heard the story about a Brit being extradited to the USA and facing 10 years despite not breaking the british law . Its all supposedly because of ACTA . Everybody can be named a pirate and financially destroyed etc.

Is this all because TPTB want us to be scared of surfing the net ? : ) It cant be just forbidden but a potential financial penalty might be a sufficient deterrent .

Brilliant move if true :)

It would be 'nice' if those involved in OWS handed themselves in if they think/know they have violated ACTA.
That way, it would bring a lot of 'unwanted' [?] media coverage but, better still, temporarily overload the police/judicial system being used to try and curb/usurp peoples civil liberties.
