whatsgoingon:

Have you viewed this document written by Leonardo Maugeri?

http://belfercenter.ksg.harvard.edu/fil ... lution.pdf
Oil is not in short supply. From a purely physical point of view, there are huge volumes of conventional and unconventional oils still to be developed, with no “peak-oil” in sight. The full deployment of the world’s oil potential depends only on price, technology, and political factors. More than 80 percent of the additional production under development globally appears to be profitable with a price of oil higher than $70 per barrel.
Contrary to what most people believe, oil supply capacity is growing worldwide at such an unprecedented level that it might outpace consumption. This could lead to a glut of overproduction and a steep dip in oil prices….

After adjusting for risk factors … net additional production capacity by 2020 could be 17.6 mbd [million barrels per day], yielding a world oil production of 110.6 mbd by that date….

This would represent the most significant increase in any decade since the 1980s.
The shale/tight oil boom in the United States is not a temporary bubble, but the most important revolution in the oil sector in decades. It will probably trigger worldwide emulation over the next decades that might bear surprising results — given the fact that most shale/tight oil resources in the world are still unknown and untapped.

What’s more, the application of shale extraction technologies (horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing) to conventional oilfields could dramatically increase [the] world’s oil production.

Question. What is your contribution to Cluesforum?
Shill busting, perhaps? in that respect, you're certainly a man-of-interest.. For promoting a vile 9/11 hoaxster like Mike Ruppert you should be ashamed of yourself!

Have you actually read Ruppert's book "Crossing The Rubicon" ? Not that it is worth reading (unless you enjoy being deceived).

I shall fish out some choice quotes from Ruppert's book, so we can all see where he is coming from and, moreover, who and what he represents.

This forum deserves better than to be used as a vehicle for promoting his lies, whatsgoingon. But I think you know that already

Here's a taster of Mike Ruppert's drivel. In fact, it was the opening salvo of his address to the "prestigious" Commonwealth Club:

*snigger!*
Mike Ruppert wrote: "In my new book Crossing The Rubicon: the Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil, I will be making several key points:

I will name Richard Cheney as the prime suspect in the mass murders of 9/11 and will establish that, not only was he a planner in the attacks, but also that on the day of the attacks he was running a completely separate Command, Control and Communications system which was superceding any orders being issued by the NMCC [National Military Command Center], or the White House Situation Room.

I will also prove conclusively that a number of public officials, at the national and New York City levels, including then Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, were aware that Flight 175 was en route to lower Manhattan for 20 minutes and did nothing to order the evacuation of or warn the occupants of the South Tower. One military officer was forced to leave his post in the middle of the attacks and place a private call to his brother -- who worked at the WTC -- warning him to get out. That was because no other part of the system was taking action.
whatsgoingon: please explain what you find credible about Mike Ruppert?

Dear Reichstag,

It seems I must remind you of the numerous requests you've already received from me, Nonhocapito and Simon to curb your unfortunate habit of making ad hominem assumptions about other members' intentions and/or identities on this forum. Since you clearly do not possess psychic or 'mind reading' powers, it would surely be more prudent and constructive to confine your comments to civil, formal arguments on the actual subjects under discussion sans insult and innuendo.

Your confrontational manner and gratuitous insinuations to date not only detract from and belie your apparent intelligence and erudition but bring your own motives into question.

If you have real knowledge and can substantiate your views on a subject, then please share it appropriately. That should not be a problem if you truly care about the integrity of this forum and wish to be a helpful contributor rather than a disruptor.

But please leave any supposed "shill busting" to admin and veteran members here who are far more experienced in recognizing true intent by consistent behavior.

How you choose to proceed henceforth will obviously demonstrate yours. Ok? :)
