Information Control in Local Discussion Groups

This is the forum dedicated to all 'minor' local psyops - phony murders, kidnappings and whatnot. It has now become evident that the news media constantly feeds the public with entirely fake stories - in order to keep us in eternal fear of our next-door neighbours and fellow citizens.

Information Control in Local Discussion Groups

Unread post by hoi.polloi »

It has occurred to me on more than one occasion that while I've been at a local discussion group that all the people there were not quite right - and indeed one or two of even the recognized personalities might be "opinion leaders" for more than their stated reasons.

In America, before the advent of the Internet, a lot of discussion happened by snail mail (post) and local park services. It is interesting, and perhaps slightly on the paranoid side, to note that most of these local park services are an extension of the government and their very public and free nature would make them perfect places to monitor and control public dialogue. Now the park services are very different from other services, and each individual park has its own quirks and employees; yet, the fact is it's a known hotspot. The point isn't that it's government but that it's a public gathering place where America frequently has no urban alternatives. (Squares and amphitheaters just don't happen much - even as much as they do in the crazed City of London.) And even the park service isn't the main point - only that every obvious way of tracing a discussion - however conducted - was available before the Internet by good old fashioned spying, acting or just faking camaraderie. Sadly, this also implies lies between close family members. The lie has to start somewhere, though, right?

Topics that we can imagine might have been broached in this fashion include:
- NASA, friends and relatives of "astronauts"
- other support for questionable technology, like nuclear physics, satellites, space exploration, etc.
- paranormal, fringe, alternative technology and cultish red herrings and limited hang-outs
- military false flag "victims" or "heroes"

As we've seen this kind of seeding being done by automated robots and apparent shills and trolls across the Internet, it makes me wonder just what kinds of subject matter and urban lore might've been 'sponsored' - if you will - for a very long time by the hoaxers that are now using Hollywood trickery to pass off their rumors and lies as accepted fact - and just how it might have been achieved in the past. I am sure they had a lot of practice PsyOpping people in-person face-to-face before they resorted to this Internet and media technology of modern day. (Mass public education and control of the text books seems to be one of those helpful tools of the hoaxers.)

But I want to focus on the control of these meetings, because I have noticed it taking place and it is disconcerting to say the least. One thing that I guess probably happens a lot is that any time a public meeting is advertised in any way, by lamp post, newspaper or flyer, and it has to do with any specific subjects of interest, that may be at one time or another motivation for an intelligence agency to eventually sort of side-employ a local civilian for minor scouting work at the meetings and/or events. And if the discussion is really motivated to learn some truth - such as the nature of a hoax or a PsyOp - I suppose they can begin the process of "leading the enemy" by having someone show up even more "interested" than the average citizens who initiated the discussion, and with some tidbits and treats to gain their confidence, could soon be gently leading the discussion group away from discovering any sort of truth.

Because it is difficult to draw a line between the completely "PsyOped" civilian drone and someone paid to play one (a disguise they would surely take advantage of) it isn't really important to distinguish between them. Their net effect is the same: an increase of the undesirable insecurity culture dependent on military contractors and a collective faith in false and traitorous leaders. So it seems to me that something that we should be paying attention to, as citizens of decreasingly liberal countries, is the kind of character that keeps popping up at these ostensibly small clubs, gatherings and meetings and the nature of their visits or their leading the local discussions.

I understand that this can be taken too far, and one can end up being totally unaccepting of innocent strangers or totally trusting of very dear fools or sell-outs that we love despite ourselves. Yet, I feel there is something we've learned here on the forum ... that it's good to take into these local meetings a kind of wariness. The hoaxers are not afraid to infiltrate local communities on a base level, manipulating serious emotions about children, safety, relationships and community togetherness - and doing so with very subtle storytelling and equivocating indeed! I guess, to gain whatever favor necessary, and however innocent they can seem, they will keep the public in the dark on certain subjects. Or blind them with artificial light, rather, to make the small quiet truth get overlooked so it can be safely taken and tucked away.

Now, I obviously don't know any more than the rest of us what the truth is. I don't know why they are so adamant on hiding it, and so I must guess (being an optimist) that this whole way of controlling the population may not be a bad thing entirely. Perhaps the constant struggle and tension between the PsyOp and the average person may partially be what helps sustain an interesting, vibrant culture and keeps us on our toes. Perhaps it's what we deserve. However, I wanted to speculate about this in writing because it has been nagging at me for a while and I just wanted to put it out there. One needn't go into personal details but I was wondering if anyone else has had this hunch, or if they've experienced the feeling of being in a room of people duped by an opinion leader of one's small, seemingly unknown discussion group at a coffee shop, book store, park, someone's home (or wherever else seems intimate and "impenetrable")?

This is interesting but I think I need a specific example, a case of local group infiltrated by trolls to control the discourse, in your direct experience.
I say this only because things are very different from one country to the other. In Italy things are very influenced by the old political factions and trends that have hijacked the nation for decades, "leftists" against "rightist", "communists" against "fascists", "atheists" against "catholics" etcetera. So the types of infiltrators and manipulators that you encounter (if you are keen to recognize them, and most people aren't) really depend on the areas of influence of the political factions. As things are today in Italy, there is still not a single area of public discourse that is not completely taken over by political interests or other forms of intellectual mafia -- except probably for the groups that actually respond to the criminal mafia. For those, I imagine that politics are of no concern.

In italy it has been common knowledge that left-wing grassroots groups were infiltrated and sometimes even controlled by the secret service or the police, especially in the seventies or so. Today I reckon that probably a lot more situations were and are directly monitored and even influenced by infiltrated agents. What, for example, of religious catholic groups? What of the many catholic-based voluntary charity groups that are so crucial in so many situations in Italy?

Over the years I've seen the voluntary charity groups grow exponentially as the state relinquished to them many crucial parts of the infrastructure (heathcare, education, shelters etc). Did this really happened spontaneously? Or were these group empowered from within and from behind because they were the perfect cover to control the transformation of society?
And what about those NGO organizations that are always sent abroad to settle hospitals in countries were the nation has strategic interests, like "Emergency", an organization that must have raked millions and millions of euros in donations, and that is present in Afghanistan, Iraq etc...?

Image
Roberto Formigoni from wickedpedia, back when he was an innocuous "religious leader"

A very interesting case, about which I would love to write something big one day, is that of Roberto Formigoni who has been for 15 years governor of Lombardia. Formigoni comes from a catholic group (Communion and Liberation) that grew enormously over the years and eventually has become a real "block" within the society; a group that controls resources of all kinds, from construction to healthcare etcetera. Formigoni is also the individual responsible for the Pirelli scam, when after 9/11 a small plane was allegedly rammed into the Pirelli building in Milan. The building was the base of the regional government. Following that event, a real estate speculation of biblical proportions started in Milan, all under the supervision of Formigoni, redesigning entire areas of the city guided by the idea that the regional government needed a new skyscraper.

All this to say that an incredibly powerful and dangerous group started and still works with local small groups that allegedly are non-profit and "spontaneous". According to several accounts and reports of people that "escaped" them, these groups behave like "cults" (or rather like mafia circles), where there is no democracy and two or three key individuals completely control all the others.

This has been what drives my search for understanding. I keep coming back to psychology and self-awareness in order to gain the perspective needed to analyze. The psychology not being taught is that the body is a creation machine (this is all metaphor obviously) that houses an observer/experiencer component (soul/spirit/real-you/?). But the evolution of man, and the evolution in which I seem to agree with, is that there are plateaus and stagnation during the process and then there are leaps of consciousness and understanding. The dogma of psychology and science and politics is near bursting point. 2012 whatever, it's undeniable that systems, especially sacred systems (media, politics, religion, science) are starting to show their age, wear and luckily also the abuse they have caused. At the same time, the cutting edge tech is bought, paid for & utilized in current time to continue the mind-jacks. The skeptic will always question right away. But the nature of having the tech is that you're always at an advantage, like a card counter before the casinos knew about the math. The good thing is that their achille's heel will always be their ego & the human need to reveal truth of actions--much like the seeming clues left to reveal what's really going on. It's almost as if the game has been so good for so long that they are subconsciously counting their cards out loud for everyone that pays attention to hear, yet the house is oblivious to the scam and in fact defends it.

That to me is the nature of a perfect con. The one where the marks defend the scam. The ego-level learning system that has been in place as long as we can realistically look back on is giving way to new understanding in psychology. I call it the belief-machine. We're taught to use the vehicle as a belief machine. Yet it's really a creation machine. The linkages between thoughts, inputs, emotion, action--these wirings--are fluid and will flesh out the reality that is input and accepted. Believe in a god savior who will set you free? Believe in witchcraft? Believe in devils? Believe in 9/11? The inputs are entered into the bio machine just like computer software. No one is taught how to use this software and delete old programming. They just allow layer after layer of programs to the point where we are now--medication, ADD, schitzophrenia, mania, and on and on. But thoughts tuned consciously through a present, fully conscious mind, driven not by the chatter mind but by the observer component, creation results. Everyone creates their reality based on these inputs and wirings. And I come to the conclusion that others have figured this out long ago and continue to reap benefit on an unwitting and ignorant population. Because they can. The lag time between real-time high tech and what the public gets makes it immune to real-time analysis. Only now after 10 years is the public tech good enough to catch the glitches in the matrix soon after they happen.

But how do you convince or re-train a population that doesn't even understand their own level of deep-root access-programming? The only way is for each individual to be able to confront their own belief structure that provides their limiters to full understanding. The mind can be cracked open by asking, "what is my own flat-earth theory?" or what do I believe that even if given proof to the contrary would I still believe. That mirror doesn't seem to be available to most at this time.

This has been more in response to the paragraph quoted than the thread title, I understand. It seems to help me get to the how's and why's of what's going on. The thing that gets me is that through this lens, it just doesn't seem possible that it can be so coordinated between the bureaucracies and I don't think it is to a degree. The corporate structure is the infiltrator. It has the ability to purchase government (infiltration at high levels through staffing & assignment). It has the ability to create technology and then buy it back through public (govt legislation) money. It has the ability to create media and news. It has the ability to create the actors & personalities needed.

I can't see DMV-style bureaucracy being that in tune. It's too bungling. But take a well run corp, it's criminal what can be created and legislated and controlled.

I see what you mean about the need for inner reflection on this topic.

What I hear you saying in response to the topic itself is that only corporations hold the necessary technology to manipulate groups on such a coordinated level. Perhaps so. Nevertheless, if it's an In-Q-Tel or a CIA or a Circle Pinnay or however you want to distinguish the circle of influence, you have different circles converging over some measure of frustration with the system, and you have circles converging over seemingly innocuous and unrelated topics.

Let's say someone wanted to join a local astronomy club, but they wanted to use a big telescope and the big telescope happened to be managed by a player within a circle of influence whose job is to maintain the myth of satellites. All of a sudden, the curiosity of the average people has been turned into another belief engine - for the perpetuation of the satellite myth. An innocent discussion and research group has become a small, quiet, almost unnoticeable propaganda machine.

Or you wanted to go to a meeting about a local issue like electromagnetic pollution by the creation of a power line through a poor neighborhood to make the poor take the brunt of the radiation, and you found yourself surrounded by people saying the key isn't to re-assess the actual need for power but to demand the monopolistic power company reveal Tesla's coil or some other thing like that.

These are just a couple examples of what seems to be taking place. Real power against the greedy corporations' leverage is undermined by the average person continually being tricked into seeing it as a non-issue that will be solved in the future by corporations. Kind of like the precursor to the technology-worshiping Venus Project cult. Let's all hold hands and pray for a successful new product. That kind of shit.

Hello Hoi,

I read your post with interest and couldn't help but think of a line from a song I liked as a kid.

Charlie Daniels
Song: Uneasy Rider
Album: A Decade of Hits (Its on other albums as well)

I was takin a trip out to L.A.
Toolin along in my cheverolet
Tokin on a number and diggin on the radio

Just as I crossed the Mississippi line
I heard that highway start to whine
And I knew that left rear tire was about to blow

Well the spare was flat and I got uptight
Cause there wasn't a filling station in sight
So I just limped on down the shoulder on the rim

I went as far as I could and when I stopped the car
It was right in front of this little bar
Kind of a red-neck lookin joint called the Dew Drop Inn

I stuffed my hair up under my hat
And told the bartender that I had a flat
And would he be kind enough to give me change for a one

There was one thing I was sure proud to see
There wasn't a soul in the place except for him and me
He just looked disgusted and pointed toward the telephone

I called up the station down the road a ways
He said he wasn't very busy today
And he could have somone out there in just about 10 minutes or so

He said," Now, you just stay right where yer at!"
And I didn't bother to tell the darn fool
That I sure as hell didn't have anyplace else to go

So I ordered up a beer and sat down at the bar
When some guy walked in and said, "Who owns this car
With the peace sign, the mag wheels and the four on the floor?"

He looked at me and I damn near died
And I decided that I'd just wait outside
So I laid a dollar on the bar and headed for the door

Just when I wthought I'd get outta there with my skin
These 3 big dudes come strollin in
With one old drunk chick and some fella with green teeth

Now the last thing I wanted was to get into a fight
In Jackson Mississippi on a Saturday night
Especially when there was three of them and only one of me

I was almost to the door when the biggest one
Said, "You tip your hat to this lady, son!"
And when I did, all that hair fell out from underneath

They all started laughin and I felt kinda sick
And I knew I better think of something pretty quick
So I just reached out and kicked old green teeth right in the knee

Now he let out a yell that'd curl yer hair
But before he could move I grabbed me a chair
And said "Now watch him Folks cause he's a fairly dangerous man!"

"You may not know it but this man is a spy.
He's a undercover agent for the FBI
And he's been sent down here to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan!"

He was still bent over holdin on to his knee
But everybody else was looking and listening to me
And I laid it on thicker hand heavier as I went

"He's a friend of them long haired, hippy-type, pinko fags!
I betchya he's even got a commie flag
tacked up on the wall inside of his garage."

"He's a snake in the grass, I tell ya guys.
He may look dumb but that's just a disguise,
He's a mastermind in the ways of espionage"

"Would you believe this man has gone as far
As tearing Wallace stickers off the bumpers of cars.
And he voted for George McGovern for President."

They started lookin real suspicious at him
He jumped up and said "Now just wait a minute Jim!
You know he's lying I been living here all of my life!"

"I'm a faithful follower of Brother John Birch
And I belong to the Antioch Baptist Church.
And I aint even got a garage, you can call home and ask my wife!"

Then he started saying somethin bout the way I was dressed
But I didn't wait around to hear the rest
I was too busy moving and hoping I didn't run outta luck

When I hit the door I was making tracks
And they were just taking my car down off the jacks
So I threw the man a twenty and jumped in and fired that mother up

Mario Andretti wouldda sure been proud
Of the way I was movin when I passed that crowd
Coming out the door and headed toward me at a trott

Now I guess I should of gone ahead and run
But somehow I just couldn't resist the fun
Of chasing them all just once around the parking lot

I had them all out there steppin and fetchin
Like their heads was on fire and their asses was catchin
then I figgered I had better go ahead and split before the cops got there

When I hit the road I was really wheelin
Had gravel flyin and rubber squeelin
And I didn't slow down till I was almost to Arkansas

I think I'm gonna reroute my trip
I wonder if anybody'd think I'd flipped
If I went to L.A., via Omaha

This illustrates the notion people have about distrust of strangers and fear of infiltrators because
it did and does happen.
Probably always when inviting people to meetings at which certain things are discussed this has been the case. Thinking as far back in history as I can, was also the impetus giving rise to secret groups.
Open groups then, even easier to monitor. Pro and con.

I actually think the internet's availability to bring people together on the cyber level and the sense of anonymity was the reason why it was developed. Not that the people financing it and laying out the infrastructure had any interest in people's convenience to communicate over a larger area than someone's living room or town hall, or their accessabilty to education, information and entertainment.
Social media just corrals them to collate, sort and categorize the public into more manageable herds.
Thereby the logistics of having to send out "infiltrators" is solved and replaced by "computer shills"
is more tractable.
