All you have to do is read their mission statement:

"For several years now, a number of mathematical, scientific, acquisition, and analysis disciplines have been converging as components of a larger discipline--geospatial intelligence. Geospatial intelligence has become the cornerstone of our national and homeland security through its place at the functional center of many diverse intelligence methods."

The "many diverse intelligence methods" have already been busted - right here on this little forum.

Yea, Great catch "nonhocapito" and I bet you my friend "capito" more then most people.

Apparently BP is no more adept at doctoring photos than it is at plugging deep-sea oil leaks.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 05256.html

Oddly, BP is now claiming that the photo is real - but it showed blank screens, and rather than show blank screens at AP's crisis center, they instead put fake content-filled screens in the photo. Uh, a few questions.

1) Why were the screens in the crisis center blank in the middle of the crisis? Coffee break?
2) The BP spokesman claims that the photographer photoshopped the changes. Really? A professional photographer hired by BP Photoshops so poorly that a 12 year old kid could do a better job. Really? Let me show you what BP said exactly, and then the photo that supposedly this "professional" edited:

Scott Dean, a spokesman for BP, said that there was nothing sinister in the photo alteration and provided the original unaltered version. He said that a photographer working for the company had inserted the three images in spots where the video screens were blank.

http://www.americablog.com/2010/07/bp-p ... mmand.html

In all seriousness, an astute reader noticed that the meta info for the photo says it was created in 2001, not July 16, 2010 as claimed on BP's site. It looks like BP took a photo from 2001, and in order to make it look like the command center in July of 2010, they pasted pictures of the oil well leaking over the old photo.

 - Great catch Martin. Here's an intelligent comment from that site:
http://www.americablog.com/2010/07/bp-p ... mmand.html

"Anyone who has ever used Photoshop knows that this is an incredibly amateur job. I can do far better than this, and I tend to play with Photoshop for fun. We're to believe that a professional photographer did this poor a job, for pay, for a huge corporate client? Really? No one would hire this photographer again if this is true. Oh, and the photographer added the fake screens to the photo, what, without BP's permission? That's what they're implying, "the photographer did it."

As psyops go, this 'oil spill' seems pretty boring. I'm not even sure what they want me to do: worry about sea-turtles and the environment? Get upset with BP?

I wonder if it's just a dry-run for something else, or a 'throwaway game' to keep the staff busy and give them some real-world experience. I suppose BP has volunteered to 'take one for the team'.

Maybe the idea is just to keep Obama's escalation of the war out of the headlines?

I guess when you need a distraction, any distraction will do.

It's interesting that their work product is so weak and their production values are still low.

The Monica Lewinsky story was at least selling newspapers. Don't they recognize their duty to keep us entertained? Maybe they're going to use the old horror movie trick of keeping things very boring at the beginning so that we get more excited later.

What were they saying at the pitch for this one--'Right, and instead of space travel and rockets we will be showing them loops of oil leaking from a pipe all day long, and spreading rumors about burning turtles...'

If there's some genius strategy behind this flop, I'm missing it.

With Bush/Cheney we got nude photos of women soliders abusing prisoners, buildings exploding to dust, mysterious snipers killing people in DC... and under Obama we've got underwear bombers, media flu epidemics, minor earthquakes, volcanoes and oil spills?

You would think that Ari Emanuael could help them hire some TALENT. It's one thing to be incompetent, and quite another to be boring.

One supposes they wanted approval for the Fake Alien Invasion but came out empty-handed, so instead we get a BP oil spill just so that people have something to do. Morale must be terrible.

Or perhaps they're saving all their exciting footage so that the Fake Alien Invasion looks spectacular by comparison.

Perhaps the obvious photoshop glitch is intended to make it look like the Washington Post is vigilant.

The themes and visuals have been exceedingly dull.

Well guys,

Now we have a Chinese oil spill that more than doubled in size to 165 square miles by Wednesday, forcing nearby beaches to close and prompting one official to warn of a "severe threat" to sea life and water quality.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38337393/ns ... nvironment

What the hell happened? Are they out of Earthquakes, Volcanoes and Swine flu?

Maybe a series of undersea explosions at oil rigs is meant to be blamed on Al Qaida terrorists.

Very fishy.

Instead of hiding in a cave in Pakistan, wily old Bin Laden must now be living in a yellow submarine at his undersea castle. I suppose Obama will have to order drone strikes on Atlantis now.

Hi, Fred. Well, the thing that jerked me out of "the faith" was this vid. Yes, it's pure speculation - could be disinfo - but...I just "snapped" when I heard it:
"The Oil Spill Is A Illusion....Its All Setup..flv"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdpS72hDt8Y

Also maybe take a look at this:
"BP MAY BE TAKEN OVER BY EXXON. THE UK IS BEING ATTACKED AND LOOTED"
http://aangirfan.blogspot.com/2010/06/b ... uk-is.html

And, of course, you remember that Goldman Sachs dumped at least 44% of their BP stock right before the "accident":
"BP FALSE FLAG"

Ha ha. Maybe Mel Gibson? Oh, wait! Never mind. Ari fired him for being a Christian.

Oh, I dunno. I kinda like the one of the pelican dipped in toffee myself. 2nd favorite is the whale with the zinc oxide slathered on his back. (would insert smiley, if could figure out how to make them work)

Did Holy-wood know about the "BP Gulf Oil Spill" back in 2009?

Look at the clip from the movie "Knowing" with Nick Cage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hmgeA3dr ... re=related

Its not the first time a Nick Cage movie tells us stuff in advance.

Gulf Boats Having Trouble Finding Any Oil:

http://www.france24.com/en/20100721-gul ... s-official

Hahaha, this is getting funny cos 750 boats are out in the Gulf trying to find the oil but they cant find it, haha that's like the military and OBL" He is out there but we cant find him"

So where is the Fake Oil now and where is it going.

Well, maybe OBL has a submarine so he can get out from his underwater castle as Fred said, and light one of his magic underwater matches and set the whole underwater oil spill on fire cos very soon you are going to hear from MSM that the oil is out there but you cant see it cos its 10 feet under the water.

There is a reason they dont want people to go to the beaches and I dont think its because of the Fake oil spill, that one is to easy.

Ha ha...geeez. I just looked at that. If you notice, it is dated 2 July. Here is an article I spotted in the sidebar:
"Gulf Oil Spill Spotted from Helicopter by Tampa Bay Area Sheriff: Oil Moving in on Florida Coast"

Today is 23 July. That makes it the slowest-moving oil in the west.
