Just a reminder...
The ISS (the International Space Station) is supposed to orbit at least 200 miles above Mother Earth.
Now, have you ever sat in a window seat of a commercial passenger plane (max 7 miles altitude) - and looked down?

Here is a inside tour of the ISS (maybe taken down on Earth?) + some music:

Thanks to Heiwa for the above information.Heiwa wrote:Here is a inside tour of the ISS (maybe taken down on Earth?) + some music:

It may not be anything, but one thing that struck me about the 'tour' of the ISS was that all of the Astro-naughts were in the same position relative to up/down ie the Japanese guy was standing the same direction relative to the Russians who were in a totally different part of the ISS.
It may be coincidence but as there should technically be no up or down one would not expect the A-Ns to be in the same positions.
Also when the Cameram-A-N goes to the guitarist he seemingly puts on a 360 degree twist to the viewer almost to impart and accentuate the 'non-gravity' after which, when they both converse, they say they are the 'highest people in the universe' as they are at the 'top' of the ISS which is presumably the furthest part away from Earth.
I notice that objects float around ie his necklace and the strap to the right of the picture but if this is furthest away from Earth surely there would still be some exertion of gravity on objects [how else is it held in orbit] and if so the objects would be floating 'downwards' towards the Earth rather than trying to get away and float 'upwards'.
I am no Physics expert so please feel free to correct my ambiguous observations.

Wow, that little vignette was almost as annoying as this one:

I didn't notice R2 in those scenes. But, what I did notice is how stupid it would be to have all your important wiring just rolled and taped to the walls where people are supposedly floating around uncontrollably. What gave them the idea that high tech = disarray and junky appearances?
In real life if you kept people in such surroundings cramped together like that doing idiotic useless crap day after day, without even a porthole to see out of, somebody might get a bit upset being told six more months. They'd go through there pulling all that loose wiring out by the handfulls! And then they'd be in a pickle.
Just saying.
Re: ENDEAVOUR - and the spaced-out NASA efforts
Here's some more "gee, ain't we having fun!" videos from NASA from July 2011.
http://nasawatch.com/archives/2011/07/video-world.html
NASA venture into the world of Music Videos.
No sign of R2 in this one either. Is it any wonder how people and robots and 5 or 10 tons of supplies can get misplaced in such a mess? Oh, but even though they weren't evident in Heiwa's video tour, there are portholes around when they need one. Sometimes though, like in the flute playing portion, they'd just as soon cover them up with paper.
But, lots of cringe-worthy stuff in this video 'endeavor' for the image specialist on this forum.
The comments are worth a read, too. They are talking about the supplies for a year. I wonder what they made of the recent story of how yet another shipment of seemingly unnecessary supplies "crashed back to Earth" in August, for those who actually think this NASA fairy tale is factual.
There is so much info on these threads, don't know if this has been posted before.

TAKE 1 - Action!
Hey Ronnie, whats a Soyeuz ?
Its this 'spaceship', idiot !
Oh ! sure ! sure it is, Ronnie !
We're 'in Space', dont forget !
Oh, Yeah! sure! sure you are !"
CUT !!! Idiots ! Read the script !
Stand by... and...
TAKE 2 - Action !
"Hey Ronnie, hey sorry, sorry to interrupt ya, i've been lookin' all over the place for ya man!"
"I'm just ah, loosed up here man, just up here in my place..."
"You, you, you're 'in your Soyeuz' ?"
"I'm 'in my Soyeuz', right !"
"Well, what are you doin' up here ?"
"Well, this is, this is our spacecraft, this is our spacecraft that we're gonna be, er,
going home,; we're going back to home in !"
"Well, yeah! sure! sure you are !"
Fantastic ! Great job everybody ! Thats a wrap !
Re: ENDEAVOUR - and the spaced-out NASA efforts
SURE !!!...
In ZERO-G, theres no 'swimming through space', you just effortlessly glide - everywhere !
You never 'overshoot', never have to 'push-off', never have to propell yourself or generate any momentum.
You just 'visualise' where your'e heading & the super-steady video-camera leads you there. TELEKINESIS.
You just 'think it'; 'imagine it'; and 'zero-gravity' does all the work... no bumping into things on the ISS !!!
You never tread on a laptop, or trip on any cable, just cruisin' & floatin' & flyin', with telepathy...
Tinkerbell & Peter Pan...
bedtime stories...

hehe!
Pause Heiwa's viddie on 3.01
It's ridiculous. Spacecraft engineers talking to computer techs, "Where you want to install the main computer systems in here?". "Let's just mount a station in front of the hatchway, there's no way anybody's legs or arms are going to accidentally be flailing around and knock those monitors and sensitive equipment over." uhwokay!
It was nice to see those Russians Cosmonots handling the most important equipment on board...
Duct tape.
And in the video introducing R2, who after his big screen debut is apparently spending his time back in the box. It was so comical how the girl space cadet never had any set place to clamp her mic into when not in use. She just shoves some bird's nest of wires out of the way and plops it down, but it doesn't float away. It's so haphazard looking.

Re: ENDEAVOUR - and the spaced-out NASA efforts
well, its a lo-res cheap camera swinging around off a weather balloon, half the time it can barely focus. pretty good little 'movie' though, for £350 all in. I think the stars do need some steady exposure time, though it is mind blowingly stupid that dumb NASA never address the issue. Not that they feel they need to have to prove anything to anyone, just they brag about everything else but they cant even get their shit together to take a photo with stars ? They spend way more time making fake composite 'shuttle in space' pictures. bizarre. especially when i just watched this
20 minute clip, which 'looks' pretty authentic to me ?!? maybe it is satellite film, with ISS composites on top ?!?

Well, I believe that the whole point to faking space itself is so that no one can really know what space really looks like and what’s in space, it’s not just about the validity of the public space program itself, or NASA, the fake space program they want us to focus on and fidget about forever. So I have absolutely no reason to believe that any of it is authentic. It can look as authentic as it wishes, doesn’t make it any more legit. Until any of the “amateur” footage, old footage, or any footage coming from anybody can show me stars and some satellites or more, I'm going to conclude that none of it is authentic. Why is NASA's cameras always pointed at Earth? Show me something else and then I may take them seriously.

Yes, Dcopymope, according to NASA there is so much debris in space you would think we might see some of it in their beautiful "photos".

Re: ENDEAVOUR - and the spaced-out NASA efforts
Yeah, there may be lots of debris, but the "debris" explanation could also be a cover for the star wars program that they logically would not want anyone to see, that would be a major reason for faking space. We're expected to believe that nothing came out of the program, no lethal or less lethal weaponry of any kind, nothing at all, however unlikely. People seriously believe that they would allow any real amateur footage of space to get out and potentially show something that may be top secret. Just like they are monitoring everything we do 24/7, there would be no reason for them not doing the same for earth space. These people take control of space too seriously to allow any average Joe to send anything up there with a camera, there signal would be immediately jammed.SmokingGunII wrote:Yes, Dcopymope, according to NASA there is so much debris in space you would think we might see some of it in their beautiful "photos".
