Albert Henry DeSalvo, the purported Boston Strangler, ranks as one of the most infamous of all the serial killers, despite the inconvenient fact that, in the four decades since the notorious murders were committed, no one has been able to produce a shred of evidence indicating that DeSalvo ever killed anyone. The task of manufacturing a case against DeSalvo was largely led by a legendary attorney by the name of F. Lee Bailey, who received a considerable amount of help from a cast of characters whose surnames should be familiar to any serious student of U.S. politics—names like McNamara, Donovan, Mellon, Moynihan and Bryan. ...

Just prior to their becoming notorious, there happened to be a film crew at their hideout that was noting their story which would eventually become an Academy Award nominated documentary.
"In late 1969, Robert Hendrickson began filming the Manson Family at the ranch for his documentary film Manson."

I followed up on the Laurence Merrick link from the Hendrickson one above. Merrick was evidently a partner in the production of the documentary. I stumbled across this information:
"Sharon Tate, one of the victims in the Manson murders, was a former student at Merrick's Academy of Dramatic Arts."

Polanski's friend Frykowski was one of the victims(?) and what is even more interesting his son was found dead in Karolina Wajda's house , stabbed in a back some 30 years later . Official report stated it was a suicide
Karolina Wajda is Andrzej Wajda's daughter and the latter is a very known director known for "Promised Land" , "Katyn" and even awarded OSCAR in 2000 for his lifetime achievements .
Maja/Agnieszka Frykowska a grandaughter of a guy alleged to be killed by Manson and a daughter of the one suicided is a Polish version of Kim Kardashian/Paris Hilton , famous for being famous.
Story doesn't end even now because Maja/Agnieszka is allegedly entitled to her part of royalties for Manson's book that he is finishing or finished already .We all know here that Charles Manson doesn't exist . SO WTF ?![]()

Oops, I'm thinking of another guy sorry, but... http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Frykowski
Wasn't "Frykowski" the surname of Gilbert Shelton's Fat Freddy, from the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers?
Nearly - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fabulo ... k_Brothers
"In The Idiots Abroad, Freddy visits the Polish village of Gfatsk, where everybody happens to look like him. Nevertheless, he is driven away by an angry mob as soon as they hear the name Freekowtski."
I had a glossy compilation of about 6 of the originals which I loaned to a "friend" which was never returned. Bastard.
