Fakery in Orbit: THE I$$

If NASA faked the moon landings, does the agency have any credibility at all? Was the Space Shuttle program also a hoax? Is the International Space Station another one? Do not dismiss these hypotheses offhand. Check out our wider NASA research and make up your own mind about it all.

Sir Patrick has his own memory problems. Moore, a confirmed bachelor, can't remember the name of his fiancee who was apparently blown to bits by a NAZI bomb in WWII.
Wiki goes for Lorna too. Did "Lorna" have a surname? Not a mention of it anywhere on Poogle! He must have forgotten that too!
Perhaps it's a cover for being GHEY!

"British television coverage of Apollo 11, man's first mission to land on the moon, lasted from 16 to 24 July 1969 . All the then three UK channels BBC1, BBC2 and ITV provided extensive coverage. Most of the footage covering this historic event from a British perspective has now been either wiped or lost.[1][2]" One giant step for mankind, "Aw fuck it, we need the tape to record the 1970 Blankety Blank Christmas Special"

He also had views on AIDS and Politics and conspiracy theorists...

Three new cosmo-nots arrive at the ISS and are introduced to us in yet another incredibly boring video:

full link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6CPCByf3Bo

I guess the new guys are the 3 in the front row who, for some reason, are wearing headphones while the crew in back are not. Yet everyone seems to be hearing the same things.

The new guys also appear to be holding microphones which they never use, speaking instead into the headset mic.

I also notice we have yet another springy-haired female aboard the ISS. I guesss there's something about space that gives a gal's hair extra body and bounce. Proctor & Gamble ought to find a way to bottle it.

Might just be their new 'space-age' electronic toothbrushes.

How would clothing hang on a human body in space? Would it appear to hang normaly as on earth or would it have an upward motion to it...

Now there's a point - there is no UP OR DOWN IN SPACE - as it's limitless in all directions - why is her hair standing UP^ ? Why is it not sprouting sideways or even down??

^ Yes.

Note Suni Williams' hair here:

And, the same oddity with Catherine Coleman. Here she is normally:

And here she is on the ISS:

This is one reason I believe they are using some sort of mechanical means to fake the zero gravity such as some sort of random positioning machine.

I suspect it is not a perfect simulation and produces a minor "upward" force which results in the weird springy hair, clothing that often rides up and other such things visible in these videos from time to time.

I think I am more in the CGI or some alike 'advanced video technology that we don't have privy to' camp. I would guess that perhaps even some of the more spectacular movie special effects are dumbed down so as to not make them look too realistic. I liken it to the soap operas or really bad TV shows where both the acting and dialogue is so crappy. It is these 'bad actors' that make it so that the real ones can't be found out nearly as easily.

Many commercials I have seen seem to be exempt from the above rule of thumb. For instance, there is no give away that a real plane is not flying above the car in this commercial. One just knows and more readily accepts that it is not real because it is a commercial (aside from the physics of the plane flying so low, slow, etc...) And, of course it isn't said or implied to be real, forcing one to have to think on their own merit. :)

I don't rule out CGI.

But what causes me to lean toward a mechanical answer is that the "weightlessness" depicted has a certain consistency to its incongruities as mentioned above. That is, the odd appearance of long hair, the way clothing always seems to ride up and other oddly rising objects that I've seen in these videos. I would think if they used CGI they would copy the look of the vomit comet weightless videos where long hair, for example, behaves differently and more logically then it does in these ISS videos.

I also, as yet, have not seen much evidence that CGI is being used in the ISS videos as I have with other fakes such as the 9/11 video glitches and others that have been shown on this forum. A little bit of evidence has been shown but not enough to convince me yet that the ISS videos are done via CGI.

Another possibility is that both mechanical and CGI are being used such as what Hollywood calls "wire work" or "wire fu," possibly combined with other tricks. This also seems possible IMO.

Here he is. Mark K. Floating in ISS space. Glasses fixed on ears/head. A little later he will pilot the last US Shuttle from the ISS down to Earth. It only takes 30 minutes. Easy as a pie. Just step on the Shuttle brake, seat belts fastened, pray, PRAY, etc and you go through the fire of hell like it being a freezer and then you land. So you can kiss your wife with her head shot off.
When will USA wake up? :P  :D :puke:  B)

Look at all cables hanging or floating around! See two PCs + keyboards right and left so you can click on whatever video game you like when floating bye + small panels with switches that need manual, mechanical input. What a stupid working environment. Is this the billion $$$ space station of the future? It looks more like a Hollywood back yard scrap heap.

Gosh, if it's that easy you'd think he could, instead of returning immediately to Earth, just point the shuttle at the Moon and take a nice loop around the Moon before returning home in time for lunch with the shot-in-the-head-at-close-range-with-a-9mm wife. :P

That hand looks extremely not his! The convenient wrist-band fig-leafs the horrid PS job!

As it is in cartoon world the hands are extremely difficult to work with, hence the three-fingered characters in most.

The ISS crew always seem to be wearing fresh, clean clothes. How do they do their laundry?

Here is NASA's "explanation":

Also, a rule of three- or four-fingered cartoon characters (as opposed to five) saves the need for extra lines to be drawn, which saves time and ink and production cost.

This seems to be along the same line of reasoning (sorry about being punny) in that it saves digital ink, time and production cost to join Frankensteinian clipboard parts with convenient bracelets, turtle necks, gloves, etc.

Indeed.

I'd also like to point out the blue overspill on "forefinger", the red and blue overspill on the back of "hand". The red overspill on the "wrist" and both again along the "arm".

It's been a while I wrote something.
This is from The Big Bang Theory, it was interesting to see, I hope we'll get a "Behind the scenes".
