Lac Megantic- train derailment-July 6, 2013

This is the forum dedicated to all 'minor' local psyops - phony murders, kidnappings and whatnot. It has now become evident that the news media constantly feeds the public with entirely fake stories - in order to keep us in eternal fear of our next-door neighbours and fellow citizens.

Lac Megantic- train derailment-July 6, 2013

Unread post by omaxsteve »

The story is that a 72 car freight train with that was "parked" 11 Kilometers from downtown Lac Megantic for the night somehow "got loose" and travelled 11 kilometers downhill gathering speed until it derailed and exploded in the heart of the town of Lac Megantic , Quebec . at 1:15 AM.
1.3 are confirmed dead and 40 people are still missing in the town of 6,000 after the freight train, operated by Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway Inc., sped downhill 11 kilometres from Nantes, Que. at 1:15 Saturday morning and derailed. There were 40 buildings destroyed in the series of explosions that razed three blocks of the downtown.
2. There were five locomotives, and each tanker on the 72-car freight train was carrying 100 tons of crude oil. The train was destined for a Saint John, N.B., refinery.
3. The engineer had parked the train at Nantes, 11 km to the west of the crash site. He had shut down four of the five locomotive units on the train, a standard procedure, before heading to Lac-Megantic to sleep at 11:25 p.m.
4. At some point after that, part of the train caught fire in Nantes. Local fire crews were called to put out the blaze.
5. Somehow, the fifth locomotive was also shut down. The crash happened about two hours later.

here is a link to some photos from Canada's TSB (Transportation Safety Board) Canada

Interesting that they have a gentleman called Tony Gasbarro who has the title of Senior Multi-Media Investigations Imaging Specialist working for the TSB.

While it's hard to imagine that this event has been completely fabricated by the media (how can they fake the razing of 3 blocks in a downtown area?) there are a number of factors that raise suspicion:

First the numbers a72 car freight train (7+2 = 9) parked 11 kms from the city center.

Secondly the "confirmed" death toll has now risen to 13 and there are still reportedly as many as 40 people "missing". There are reports that the area is still too "hot" for investigators to find bodies. (too hot, 3 days later?) and finally it appears that the authorities are not allowing anyone to photograph the scene:
see: http://www2.macleans.ca/2013/07/08/time ... -megantic/

Here are some "before and after" pics from the scene:
http://globalnews.ca/news/701695/photos ... and-after/

I will study these photos for evidence of fakery as soon as I have some time.

it seems like there has been a plethora of "disasters" in recent days, surrounding the July 7th date. I can only speculate as to the reasons behind this flurry of disasters, my hunch is that the primary purpose is to keep the world media from reporting on some other, "real" event, that the powers that be wish to keep the general public from being exposed to.

I've been keeping an eye on this one as well but didn't want to start a thread about it prematurely.

More Photos here: http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2013/07/06 ... 54749.html

Some gems:

Firstly, this photo of firefighters spraying what exactly?

Image

Then, we have this photo. Same as above with sims pasted in the foreground? Or maybe real people just moved into position for the photo op? Smile for the camera, Mr. Prime Minister! :P

Image

"Canadian Prime Minister Harper, right, surveys the scene Sunday, July 7, 2013 in Lac Megantic, Quebec, as firefighters continue to spray derailed tanker cars. A runaway train derailed Saturday causing explosions of railway cars carrying crude oil and destroyed part of the downtown area of Lac Megantic."

"surveys the scene" ? What is he doing other than posing for a photo? In what world do firefighters let civilians that close to a fire while they are spraying to contain it just a few yards away?

Image

Waving to the press while the firefighting is in progress? What on earth?

Image

Smiles abound. Must be a laughing matter especially the part about those dead people.

And my favorite so far ...

Image

How do you suppose the firefighter in the background (top center of image) is that huge compared to the 3 other gentleman on the left and nearer to the foreground? Consider that he is much further away and should be smaller than them, but he's massive in comparison. He even dwarfs the car to the left and behind him. :D

Also, the layered/pasted in photoshopped tree on the right is a nice "realism" touch. Reminds me of the obligatory CGI birds in all the NASA videos. :puke:

EDITED to add something I just noticed. If you compare the first photo and the last photo I posted above, you will notice the exact same numbers on the "car" of the train, including the tag at the bottom "1267". Are these the exact same vehicles at different locations? ^_^

Stupid orange cone. Was it there before and survived uncharred while everything around it burned to a crisp? Or was it placed there afterwards by a firefighter for ... what reason exactly? :D

Useless clown "governments" without policies abound. Now how do we go about making the plebs believe they still need us? Disaster programming. It's all around. The "abortion issue" has been dragged up by the clowns here in Ireland, you know like gay marriage or whatever, issues that affect 0,00001% of the population. I'm sure it has been sponsored by the criminal banks and their cohorts who have robbed the country blind. Photos look FAF or Fake as Fuck.

CBC Reporter tries to answer question about explosions in Lac Megantic:
Why does crude oil explode and not simply burn?

I just discovered a piece of equipment called a "derail" that railrods use to prevent a train from becoming a runaway train.

It seems to work like puttinga block in front of your cars front wheels when parking in a steep driveway.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would leave a train with 72 cars full of crude oil on the precipice of a hill unattended and NOT engage a simple mechanism to ensure that the train would not roll down the hill.

One only has to presuppose that, with articles such as the one below indicating that shipping crude overland [in this instance by pipeline] is cheaper and faster [making it cheaper still], it wouldn't be long before the poor old consumer would start questioning the lack of reduction in price of petrol/fuel.
I am sure instances such as the Lac train derailment, this 'nips things in the bud' with regard to why the poor old money-making oil companies can't reduce prices even though they are shipping more, faster and from seemingly ever increasing readily available sources.
Who needs iconic landmarks anymore [such as partly being discussed on another thread] when a more common marker now, instead of 'You have the Twin Towers/Eiffel Tower/Big Ben don't you?' is asking someone from overseas 'How much is petrol/gas a litre/gallon where you're from?'.

Of course, we've already been prepped for this potential with the movie 'Unstoppable' starring Chris Pine & the 'Denz' [see link below] directed by...drum roll...Tony Scott [also see link below]...hmmm

Sorry to go on about this one, but another thing that struck me was the numbers on the back of the firemen's jackets to the left.
'4' equates to 'Death' in Chinese culture and '8' to 'Good luck'.
Also the colouration on display [though this is also somewhat tenuous] made me think of Chinese Opera and the use of painted faces [though in this instance it would equate more to the clothes on display but see link below].
Probably nothing, but of course we have to remember we may not be the only audience being targeted!

I’ve been keeping an eye on this story too. I live in Ontario (which is next door to Quebec) and was suspicious of this from the start. Here are some of my thoughts:

There is a timeline available from the Montreal Gazette which suggests some interesting things. Find it here: http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/a9g ... story.html

So apparently the train was parked overnight, became unparked and caught such momentum (HOW?) that it swung around a curve too fast, caught on fire and exploded. Oil “flooded” the city and some areas were still “too hot” to fully search more than 24 hours after the explosion. But in the pictures that anonjedi2 posted above, I don’t see evidence of this. Oil clean ups are notoriously difficult to complete, yet we don’t hear much about that.

The picture of the scene seems like the damage was cramped into the most tiny area possible. I don’t really see how a lot of buildings are on fire, just the empty field and street. I can’t imagine all those tankers in that tiny area. Supposedly more than 30 buildings were destroyed!

Image

The death toll is now at 47. I hate to say it, but how did 47 people manage to get hit or caught in the explosion in such a small area? Were they all crossing the street?

And in the face of such death and disaster, the answer, we are told, is “tourism”. Just keep shopping, folks. The Gazette quotes,
“All industries will be operational as of this morning,” Mayor Colette Roy-Laroche announces at a media briefing. “Tourism is an important part in our rebuilding,” she adds.
And of course, there are some really preposterous comments:
Soon afterwards, she got word from Verreault. She was outside smoking a cigarette when the explosion went off. “Smoking kills,” Blanchette says. “But this night, smoking saved her life.”

[…]

Dennis Drainville, the Anglican bishop of Quebec, folded clothes as the donations continued to pour in. “I got a phone call saying, ‘Did you know your entire parish of Lac-Mégantic has just totally been blown up?’ ” Drainville said. He came to town right away. “A humanitarian crisis like this demands that you engage immediately. People need food. People need shelter. People need clothes. And people need to know that you care.” (http://www2.macleans.ca/2013/07/12/how- ... -happen-3/)
The whole parish is NOT destroyed. Almost nothing is. I’ve looked at google maps, though I can’t seem to get a streetview or any good resolution. The tanks all jammed up in the middle of a road, and maybe onto an old industrial building or empty trainyard.

I found this to be a bit out-of-touch with reality, though I’m no forensic scientist. In 9/11 the tiniest human remains were apparently identified by volunteers, but here you can’t tell flesh from cinderblocks:
"Because of the range of conditions that bodies may be found in, it takes a person with a lot of experience to differentiate between what might belong to a human from what is a piece of a building, for example," she says.
Here’s another ridiculous photo. See that little tent in front of what’s supposed to be a “hot spot” with photoshopped heat-distortion above it? Looks like a watercolour brush filter. It’s laughable, that tent was the level of disaster-cleaning-station they could rig up? For 47 dead people?

Image

So that’s my rant, thanks for letting me vent here.
