The SSDI is quite the interesting tool. Not long ago, I spent an evening and part of the next day entertaining myself by inputting many of the victims' names of some of the most notorious reported killings that I could remember going back to the late 60's and the positive hit rate was remarkably low (I did not keep track, so I don't have the exact numbers.) Mind you, for my family members, friends, friends and family members of friends etc. who have passed, I have not found a single miss. It's fun to try sometime if you have time to burn :)

Was just surfing the TV channels and came across a scene from 'U.S. Marshalls' with Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes etc http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120873/.
It shows a plane landing on a highway/road and 'taking out' numerous lampposts/lamp standards without any apparent damage to the wings of the aircraft and certainly not 'diverting' it from its course.
A bit of 'prep' for future and further 'suspension of disbelief' three years later perhaps?

Why isn't Andy Kaufman in the Social Security Death Index? -- After all, he did issue the following bold statement:

Kaufman allegedly told many people—including Bob Zmuda—that he wished to fake his own death prior to his actual death. This has caused some fans to believe Kaufman is still alive.[33] Kaufman himself purportedly claimed that if he were to fake his death, he would return 20 years later, which would have been in 2004.

And what of these people as well?

Laci Peterson?
Natalee Holloway?
JonBenet Ramsey?
Bonnie Lee Bakley?
Harvey Milk?
Sharon Tate (1969)
KItty Menendez (Mary Louise of California)
Jose Menendez (California)

Marilyn Monroe... good call, Lux. I did a couple of minutes of just looking into her details as for some reason, it never inspired me before. It seems that her beginning started off as controversial as her end. And with the strange happenings re: the Kennedy's and your excellent topic regarding RFK in general, it made me wonder. She could probably warrant an entire topic on her own, but here is a little tidbit.

It appears that she was born by a different father than was listed on her birth certificate.

Here, appears to be her real father (at least according to IMDB, for sure :) ) . What a crazy symbol that is on his gravestone.

MM was also linked to JFK & RFK, two very suspect "deaths," so there may be lots more to that story.

Another controversial Hollywood death (?) is George (Superman) Reeves who I can't find in the SSDI either.

 I had to rack my brain there a little .. I could only remember Christopher Reeve. Are those two supermen surnames just coincidental?

There was also an actor named Steve Reeves who played Superman-like characters -- Hercules, etc. I don't know what's up with that.

I always misheard Reeve(s) pronounced Reed(s) when I was little and reeds are also letters of the Egyptian hieroglyphic alphabet. Knowing the Masonic power-obsessed tendencies of Hollywood, perhaps it was more cryptography for their beliefs. Secret societies appropriated a lot from any civilization that carried weight with the people, so Egypt was important to them. Look at the Scientology temples and such in L.A. and you get an idea of their interests.

So just hazarding a wild guess about the Superman-Reeve/reed(s) connections.

Image

Egyptian E was a reed, drawn looking kind of like a feather. Two e's were necessary to spell Reeve(s). R-[reed]-[reed]-ves. I dunno. That argument seemed to go nowhere, actually.

Or maybe it's much more simple and it's a "family thang" - keeping certain memes in certain associations. Ah, too much speculation I guess.

This one really touched a nerve with me tonight. I heard this in the background while I was working on my computer and had to rewind the DVR to make sure that I heard it correctly. Needless to say, a debate ensued between a person who enjoys watching this guy and me regarding the truthfulness of the 'opinion'. I simply asked this senior to question whether or not her life experience could back up his statement and she proceeded to make excuses for the commentator's thoughts. It's just another example of the uphill battle we face everyday trying to point out the truth to people vs. battling the media.

A new TV series is starting in a few days called "The Following"

Here is a synopsis of the show's premise:
The FBI estimates there are currently over 300 active serial killers in the United States. What would happen if these killers had a way of communicating and connecting with each other? What if they were able to work together and form alliances across the country? What if one brilliant psychotic serial killer was able to bring them all together and activate a following?
I think the potential propaganda aspects are self-evident. More info here.

Not only funny but effective. I'm all for scorn, derision and mockery as a response to the endless propaganda streams. :o

Just saw Iron Man Three last night (it's a ritual get together action hero movie event thing, don't ask). Not a great movie, but some bold moves on the part of the perps were in this one. For the sake of refraining from spoilers for those that may have an interest, I won't be overly specific. Very little plot anyway, primarily two plus hours of special effects and psychic driving.

It won't be too much of a giveaway to mention a prominent revelation of the method theme, bombs in crowds and several interesting shots of amputees, as well as bomb shadows reminiscent of Hiroshima.

I couldn't escape the feeling that this was timed in conjunction with the Boston hoax, that it's all rolled out as part of a comprehensive media psyop package where the elements intertwine and commingle to reinforce the "news" story of the moment.

Well worth the look when it hits DVD, not as entertainment (although it's bearable), but as a study in the connections of the the various branches of the media.
