BTW in
the cut between far away shot and close-up shot as
the rocket lands,
the flame seems to become
instantly much smaller, as if a few seconds were removed from
the video.
Yet the sound remains unaltered and continuous. Maybe someone could explain away this with
the close up having different photo aperture. However if that was
the case
the rest of
the image should look very dark around
the flame and this does not happen.
[EDIT:
the sound is unaltered, true, however
it does change to a higher pitch, only not as abruptly as the video cut. It is possible they just interwove
the audio to hide
the change in footage. In this case, lux you're probably right to say that something went wrong at that moment, and that
the last part of
the landing is just reverse footage -- if
the whole thing isn't faked from start to end.]
