Ahmadinejad tells U.N. most blame U.S. government for 9/11

Unread post by fred »

The good news is that Iran's leader seems to have read the official conspiracy literature such as New Pearl Harbor. The bad news is he's talking about passports in the rubble and doesn't seem to be up to speed on the real research.

Anyone want to travel to Tehran on a citizen-diplomacy mission to enlighten him?

UNITED NATIONS | Thu Sep 23, 2010 8:43pm EDT

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told the United Nations on Thursday most people believe the U.S. government was behind the attacks of September 11, 2001, prompting the U.S. and European delegations to leave the hall in protest.

Addressing the General Assembly, he said it was mostly U.S. government officials and statesmen who believed al Qaeda Islamist militants carried out the suicide hijacking attacks that brought down New York's World Trade Center -- less than 4 miles from where the Iranian president was speaking.

Another theory, he said, was "that some segments within the U.S. government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy, and its grips on the Middle East, in order to save the Zionist regime." Ahmadinejad usually refers to Israel as the "Zionist regime."

"The majority of the American people as well as most nations and politicians around the world agree with this view," Ahmadinejad told the 192-nation assembly, calling on the United Nations to establish "an independent fact-finding group" to look into the events of September 11.

As in past years, the U.S. delegation walked out during Ahmadinejad's speech. It was joined by all 27 European Union delegations and several other countries.

Mark Kornblau, spokesman for the U.S. mission to the United Nations, said Ahmadinejad chose "to spout vile conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic slurs that are as abhorrent and delusional as they are predictable."

White House spokesman Bill Burton said President Barack Obama thought the comments "utterly outrageous and offensive -- especially in the city where the 9/11 attacks occurred."

EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said the remarks were "outrageous and unacceptable."

'COVERED UP'

Ahmadinejad said some evidence that could support alternative theories had been "covered up" -- passports located in the rubble and a video of an unknown individual who had been "involved in oil deals with some American officials."

As he had in past years, the Iranian president used the General Assembly podium to attack Iran's other archfoe, Israel, and to defend the right of his country to a nuclear program that Western powers fear is aimed at developing arms.

"This regime (Israel), which enjoys the absolute support of some Western countries, regularly threatens the countries in the region and continues publicly announced assassination of Palestinian figures and others, while Palestinian defenders ... are labeled as terrorists and anti-Semites," he said.

"All values, even the freedom of expression, in Europe and the United States are being sacrificed at the altar of Zionism," Ahmadinejad said.

The Iranian president previously raised doubts about the Holocaust of the Jews in World War Two and said Israel had no right to exist.

Tehran has been hit with four rounds of U.N. sanctions for refusing to halt its nuclear enrichment program. Obama earlier told the assembly the door to diplomacy was still open for Iran, but it needed to prove its atomic program is peaceful, as it says it is.

I think at this point, he is playing the Alex Jones game and we will never know what kind of deals he has made with Israel and UK/USA to help their plans appear legit by playing the bad guy.

It's an interesting thought that he might be a power broker 'good guy' who is just confused but for me ... a little strange that his cabinet hasn't grasped TV fakery yet.

I doubt anything as public as a statement to the UN isn't a carefully planned strategy. Maybe I am being too cynical?

Maybe it's just me, but all the bluster about and over Iran has me thinking that the opposite is true!

The Iranians know what's what when it comes to "9/11" but play along with the charade! Why?

The Memphisto Waltz! Darling they're playing our tune. Lets Dance!

Apparently, he also questioned the legitimacy of the death toll of the 9/11 attacks, according to the article below.

Iranian Prez Says 9/11 Was A “Big Lie” To Start War On Terror

Post by Associated Press in World on Mar 6, 2010 at 4:27 pm

TEHRAN, Iran ? Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday called the official version of the Sept. 11 attacks a “big lie” used by the U.S. as an excuse for the war on terror, state media reported.

Ahmadinejad’s comments, made during an address to Intelligence Ministry staff, come amid escalating tensions between the West and Tehran over its disputed nuclear program. They show that Iran has no intention of toning itself down even with tighter sanctions looming because of its refusal to halt uranium enrichment.

“September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan,” Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by state TV. He called the attacks a “complicated intelligence scenario and act.”

The Iranian president has questioned the official U.S. version of the Sept. 11 attacks before, but this is the first time he ventured to label it a “big lie.”

In 2007, New York officials rejected Ahmadinejad’s request to visit the World Trade Center site while he was in the city for a U.N. meeting. The president also sparked an uproar when he said during a lecture in New York that the causes and conditions that led to the attacks, as well as who orchestrated them, still need to be examined.

At the time, he also told Iranian state TV the attacks were “a result of mismanaging and inhumane managing of the world by the U.S,” and that Washington was using Sept. 11 as an excuse to attack others.

He has also questioned the Sept. 11 death toll of around 3,000, claiming the Americans never published the victims’ names.

On the 2007 anniversary of the attacks, the names of 2,750 victims killed in New York were read aloud at a memorial ceremony.

I think he does find everything about the official fairy tale of 911 to be suspect, death toll included. If he really wanted to expose it in its entirety, TV fakery included, he would have done it on stage.

Likewise, If a terrorist attack of any kind comes and the culprit is immediately provided to you, you'll know it was a false flag operation. Remember that within seconds of the 9/11 attacks, they already had "terror experts" on TV blaming Bin Laden for it, even though the FBI to this day doesn't even list him as the culprit for it on their so called "most wanted" list. Why isn't he listed for 9/11? Well, FBI spokesman Rex Tomb said in 2006 that "He has not been formally indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11". So this blows a huge hole into the official inane fairy tale of 9/11 that the government and the media want us to believe. Bin Laden himself denied he had any involvement in 9/11, and the Taliban said they were not going to hand him over until they provide proof of his involvement. A news journalist can find and interview Osama Bin Laden months before 9/11 yet the CIA can't find him? First they claimed he was in Afghanistan, than Iraq, than Pakistan, than Iran, and now they're claiming he's in Pakistan again. How dumb do they think we are? Who falls for this rubbish? Next they'll be saying he's in North Korea, as they use this ghost to justify their acts of aggression towards countries that have never done anything to America. Mahmoud is laughing at America.
