You're in the wrong forum for that kind of thing! Try the Mayfair site perhaps.

Damn guys, it was just a joke. It was in bad taste and I apologize, I just don't like how ANS got banned after replying to my question. I don't take offense at his bad formatting as much as the others here, and it feels almost like I lured him into a trap with that question. It's not an easy one to answer for many people!

It was a bit of a summary execution I must admit, but we've grown weary of that sloppy post format; usually a good indicator of the shape of things to come. Perhaps they were just trying the "down to earth Northern lad type character". I'll go with hoi on the side of caution.

Really, I just arrived late. It hadn't much to do with a question or response. It was just the lack of formatting after a request to improve it. Sorry folks.

Hello friends.
My name is John le Bon and I come in peace. I am a media skeptic/fakeologst/historical revisionist based in Brisbane, Australia, aged 27. I host the Australian Roundtable Podcast live every Sunday from 3pm (GMT +10), wherein we discuss media fakery, media agendas, and related matters.
I have been fortunate enough to converse with the likes of KHam, Delcroix and Rollo via Fakeologist and now I hope to join your forum. I first became acquainted with CluesForum around the time of the TransAsia Hoax circa February 2015 and have been a regular lurker ever since. This led me to watch September Clues for the first time, a documentary which I now regularly promote on my show.
My hope is to contribute to Clues Forum on a range of topics, from contemporary media fakery to historical media fakery to general discussion about the 'who' and the 'why' - topics I am constantly revisiting and reconsidering my own opinions on. I expect to learn more from CluesForum than I expect to be able to enlighten others but predict that it will be a mutually-beneficial relationship.
I cannot claim or offer any 'professional expertise' but, as the host of one of Australia's few live shows/podcasts which deal with media fakery and government psyops, I hope to be able to make a positive and useful contribution to the forum. I also make regular uploads to my YouTube channel and often break down the latest hoaxes and will, if so allowed, post links to these videos when they become available (and all constructive criticism of my work will be encouraged and warmly accepted).
Many thanks for taking the time to read this.
John le Bon
NOTE: The above is what wrote to Simon back on June 10. In the time since, it is fair to say my main interests have changed (whether temporarily or permanently remains to be seen). On top of what is listed above, I also now host the Ball Earth Skeptic Roundtable which is probably about halfway through its first season. I also now devote more time to analysing and critiquing NASA fakery. I am still interested in other lines of inquiry but right now I am most interested in researching spinning ball theory and everything related.

No offense, John bin Gustave, and I trust you are the John le Bon I've heard talk about CluesForum in what we know to be the voice of John le Bon, but I just want to make absolutely sure you actually understand the full documentation on this forum. Can you indicate to us now, past an introductory post, what it is you understand our forum to be about and what you believe productive contributions here may look like?
Did you see September Clues all the way through, did you read The Vicsim Report, and can you claim to understand both? Would you care to try to "debunk" anything from September Clues you doubt now, before you get too cozy, so we can see if you really have challenges worthy of anyone's time? In fact, would you mind explaining any controversial points at all, in your own words, which might help shed some light on the study of Psychological Operations?
Also, you do realize Simon has just posted a strong indictment of the Earth sciences questions coming up lately in fakery research, right? You do recognize and have noted, I hope, the number of "personalities" that spend hours of their lives managing "discussion" circles for less-than-honest reasons, including Jim Fetzer, Ace Baker, "Brian S. Staveley", et cetera? And do you think by posting here you can always comment on recorded and re-testable observations without resorting to saying things like "I just trust personality A" or "I don't like personality B"?
In other words, can you actually put your best scientific arguments forward, in your own words, addressing most potentially vital questions about it, without merely linking to videos, web sites, audio, and so on? Can you show reasonable documentation for or see clear patterns of behavior from "personalities" online that bely an "intelligence operative" style or exhibit strong signs of being partially fabricated "personalities"? Can you tell what a "sim" is, and some common ways we can tell it's different from a recording of a living (or once living) human being? Do you know that people can lie for a living? Do you think people can lie to their family and friends?
Will you ever give credence to a mainstream or alternative media news story because you personally claim to know someone involved in it, without actually investigating that person's involvement?
When we aren't talking science and we are just discussing signs of hoaxing and fakery, what qualifies you to post good analysis of the fakery rather than links to other people's (or personalities') comments or weak, vague doubts? Will you offer reasoned and clear critique of the media you believe to be 'pulling a fast one' on its audience? And can you do so in such a way that it exposes your best, most logical and least speculative experience to others so that they can learn from it?
Finally, what inspired your user name on this forum?
Sorry for the interrogation, but we have certainly grown tired of the latest crowd with "shows" that don't seem to understand (and occasionally, in more suspicious cases, don't seem to want to understand, or were not assigned to show understanding about) enough of these basic ideas about good research anyone can do for themselves. And thank you for taking time with your responses (and all future posts) — not just for correcting spelling or grammatical errors, but for the most elucidating text you can muster to inspire the public to do their/its own research.
In any case, a lot of this should be directed to all new users, not just you. So please do not take any of our posts personally. And, ultimately, I hope to welcome you properly! It would be nice to believe we have allies like yourself.

Hi Cluesforum!
I was born in December 1980, making me 34 years old, in East-Berlin GDR.
I am now living in South-West Germany Stuttgart-Area near the Airport STX.
I am a father of 3 and married to my wife, obviously. I am working for a large Insurance Company to make a living.
I lived a Sheeple live since 9/11. I watched it "Live" on TV and was suddenly awake. I told my wife immediately: "This is the beginning of WW3." She don't believed me...until today. As almost everybody around me. No one sees the "War on Terror" as what it is. A World War of the warmongering USA.
I soon went back to sleep and really awoke since the Ukraine-Crisis started. Please notice that i am highly interested in political things on our Planet.
Now, i am questioning (and a big chunk of that is for things i found on Cluesforum) really everything i was told and teached. Feeling a bit betrayed for my lifetime. But maybe that´s things are going.
I am not sure if i can contribute very much to yours and other members research. But i will do my best and would like to be proud part of Cluesforum.
Greeting from Germany

My name's Pete. I live about 35 miles north of Boston. I'm was professional physicist until I had to retire to do becoming disabled. I spend a lot of my time discussing physics on the internet as well as studying more advanced parts of the physics I already know, working on theories that need to be polished before I publish them and running my own physics website, the purpose of which is to assist physicists in their work and educate the public. In one of those forums I frequent I ended up talking to someone who claimed that rocket engines don't work in a vacuum and linked to this forum. So I thought I'd join this forum to try to understand their point of view.

Thanks. I'm from Haverhill, MA which is north of Boston.
I may not stay here. From what I've seen so far there may be a few people who think that me being a physicist means that I know everything from all branches of science such as physical chemistry. No physicist knows that. In fact there are very few physicists that knows everything about all branches of physics. And unfortunately so far all I've seen are responses that are qualitative and thus "sound" right but no quantitative calculations to back them up. The first person I ran into erroneously thought that because we can range the moon using radar off the regolith of the surface that we should be able to do the same thing with a laser, which is quite false. I have a feeling that I'd spend all day and night correcting those kinds of misconceptions and that's no way to spend my time.

Indeed I suspect you won't stay here long, but that might be due to another factor than your own early frustrations...
I have quite some physical background myself and although I am not a physicist (and less one of the near-religious non-empirical relative kind) my understanding of basic physics I consider pretty solid (physical-chemical pun intended).
And I agree on the need for quantitative content, hence my request to provide one on a basic level regarding material properties. But then you answered without quantity and about the quality we may disagree as well.
I also wonder how you can draw that conclusion (too little quantitive work) if by your own admittance you merely "skimmed through the 522 posts" and obviously haven't even looked at the Satellite topic kindly linked by HonestlyNow or the vast Apollo Hoax topic where the standard reflector "argument" has been treated with quite some detail.
You started off by saying that you give education, so you should be used to giving easy-to-understand explanations that can be grasped by even teenagers.
So far I think I am not alone in saying that your contributions are pretty weak and speaking of "misconceptions" is rather strange if you do no effort to explain why the Soviets and MIT (not too far from where you live) were mistaken.
And that with all your educational background, Pete!

So, you grew up in Massachusetts, eh?
The reason I ask is that you've made several very curious grammatical errors in your first few posts on this forum, errors that seem a bit out of character for someone who grew up in the U.S. and even more so for someone with the education that you claim to have.
I'm was professional physicist until I had to retire to do becoming disabled.
In fact there are very few physicists that knows everything about all branches of physics.
Since there were close to 400,000 scientist, engineers
Since things like Direct TV works by satellites and you need a satellite dish in your yard pointing at it in its geostationary position in space, how did it get there?
Has any of you ever thought of buying cheap radar equipment and tracking such a rocket launch?
Are you sure you didn't grow up outside of the United States? Say in Israel, perhaps?

You said we shot a laser at the moon, but you also said lasers cannot travel to the moon. Is that what you qualify as clearing up misconceptions?
You claim to clear them up but so far it seems all you can do is create them and blame others for it. Can you post a link showing that you have cleared up any misconceptions in the past? I am not seeing evidence for that claim on our board.
Here is a thread I have created specifically for you to clear up misconceptions:
http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1812
The first thing you might do is explain what you actually did for the NASA project you claim to have worked for.
Cheers.

I'll bite on this since nobody else did.
Which
"one of those forums" is it that you come from, pmb? Can you link directly to the post? And would you give us a link to your physics web site, as well?

Hello everyone. My name is Wes from Central California. I am a musician and photographer by trade. I've have some other varied odd jobs over the years, mainly in accounting and business operations.
I have no formal education to speak of as I was never good at participating in topics that didn't interest me. I do a lot of reading, mostly philosophy and science oriented material. I have always had a casual interest in physics (and a growing distrust of the government) that grew immensely when, about a year or so ago, I came across the writings of Miles Mathis. It was a web search on Mathis that brought me to Cluesforum. (
http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1758 )
I am here in my ongoing search to discover the truth of things. I do not believe I will be able to contribute much in the way of new information, but I am sure to contribute many questions and add to the rational discussion of presented information.
Thank you for having me.
Wes
